mah .. snooty Alessandro? are you serious? I would say instead gived up enough when they finally see that despite the efforts do not understand me, and yet we did not ...

PS Beppe you seem a little conceited, not Ever have too many certainties and always thinks the other party ... Luke makes photos and observes the sky from when you were not yet born, or almost, a little bit of respect and humility I both d 'OBLIGATION! :-P

Do not think I have made a "mistake" in the terms, if you explain that, please, what's the catch, otherwise I would have admitted, then Alexander the talk of respect and humility are objectively out of place, but if we want to give us lessons life's meet and discuss philosophy, fortunately are more & userious; old ... If you read before giving judgments would not have come this far. M24 which is below where I know and I have never talked about M24 reportedly storage ... but where it is written that I referred storage? I repeat, I have drawn the link that I put on and I think they are reliable sources as dealing with astronomy, you have consulted them too? I hope so. Sure that the cluster M24 can not see how you can not see neither M16 nor M17, but I probably talked about clusters? But I wonder, I do not understand the purpose of all this mess.

The Sagittarius Star Cloud (also known as Delle Caustiche, Messier 24, IC 4715) is a star cluster in the constellation of Sagittarius, approximately 600 light years wide, which was discovered by Charles Messier in 1764. It is sometimes known as the Small Sagittarius Star Cloud to distinguish it from the Great Sagittarius Star Cloud located to the north of Gamma Sagittarii and Delta Sagittarii.[1]
The stars, clusters and other objects comprising M24 are part of the Sagittarius or Sagittarius-Carina arms of the Milky Way galaxy. Messier described M24 as a "large nebulosity containing many stars" and gave its dimensions as being some 1.5° across. Some sources, improperly, identify M24 as the faint cluster NGC 6603.

messier.seds.org/m/m024.html

aridaje, since this thing is uncertain, it is customary that if one wants riferisi storage calls open cluster M24 , if one wants to refer to the cloud of Sagittarius calls cloud M24 in the Shield everybody knows, and I am speech is hackneyed in all ways ... regardless of M11 you see, I do not say anything, the pictures speak for themselves and are from astrobin and carte du ciel etc. , I said to Mr. Luke several times on FB with the reasons above, then if you get into their heads to play with the semantics of the words I do not feel like, if you want to call it what you will not things that concern me, for my part I try to stick as much as possible to the official definitions as in this case point and stop. Then another thing, normally I'm used to mind my own business is not going to beat around the canthe bush or nitpick in the house of others as someone has a habit, and especially do not like being passed to sce mo free either in good faith or in bad faith, given that there are between people of the distances for which confidential netiquette should not be exceeded, otherwise it borders on rudeness. And since there are so incidentally, before asserting something my usual read up or inform first, just to clarify. fine thread.

raga ... and we put an end ... please .... we must not azzuffarci for a celestial object ... by serious men and behave like everyone to take a step back (including me of course ;-)) .. .a regardless of the reasons or wrongs and those who may have both or just one ...
We're all friends and we make a bold upward ... and let's just in this "needless controversy" ... so much the object as you call call is always there and will remain there, while we think of this .. NO !!! .
