Questa è la Piccola Nube del Sagittario (M24) anche se inquadrata parzialmente. Siamo in piena via lattea e ovviamente nella costellazione del Sagittario. Personalmente adoro i colori che offre la via lattea con tutte queste sfumature di colore che variano da zona a zona. Ad impreziosire lo scatto IC1284, ossia quella piccola nebulosa ad emissione in basso a destra e alcune oscure come quella a sinistra (LBN51). Le riprese sono state effettuate con un APO tripletto 102 mm ridotto a 570 mm F5.6 e ho integrato in totale 3 ore, un'ora per colore (RGB). In fase di elaborazione non ho effettuato alcuna riduzione stellare.
