Il Castello di Milazzo si trova sul promontorio della città di Milazzo (ME) nel punto più elevato del Borgo e vanta una splendida vista dal mare di Pontente a quello di Levante, fino alle città più lontane.
Il Complesso monumentale vanta una superficie di oltre sette ettari, ed è conosciuto anche coi nomi di "Cittadella Fortificata" o "Città Tripartita" per la divisione in tre livelli in altezza.
La Cittadella è stata realizzata nel corso dei secoli da diverse dominazioni: Angioina, Aragonese, Federiciana e Borbonica fino al 1860 quando la conquista di Garibaldi li scaccia.
Dopo questo periodo la struttura è stata adibita a carcere fino al 1959 quando viene abbandonata, per essere riqualificata e restaurata dagli anni '90 in poi.
Oggi la struttura si trova in perfetto stato ed è aperta al pubblico, consigliamo vivamente una visita, al suo interno troverete numerosi monumenti:

- La Porta di Santa Maria;
- L'Ex Chiesa di Santa Maria;
- Rivellino della Fonderia;
- Il Bastione delle Isole;
- Il Rivellino di San Giovanni;
- Il Cimitero inglese;
- Il Duomo Vecchio;
- La Chiesa dell'Annunziata;
- L'Ex Monastero delle Monache Benedettine;
- Porta Aragonese;
- Torre Normanna;
- La sala del camino;
- Il complesso aragonese;
