Mentre la stanchezza fisica, le ore di guida, le notti passate al freddo, fanno parte della normalità di questi viaggi. Sino a qui, sembrerebbe un racconto di pura follia. Ma allora, quale sarebbe il senso di tutto ciò? Il motivo è molto semplice. La libertà non la si forgia dinanzi ad una televisione che in maniera costante ti sbatte in faccia cattive notizie, oppure di fronte ad un PC, dove il social media dilagante e la sua utenza non fanno altro che parlare del brutto, della scorrettezza, della stupidità, dell'ignoranza, ponendo invidia e arrivismo sopra ogni cosa. Ad ognuno di questi termini si contrappone un contrario di cui non si fa quasi mai menzione. La libertà rappresenta il nostro modo di essere, ci rende unici e per cui vivi (non sopravvissuti) in quanto individui dotati d'espressione propria. Non significa semplicemente costruire una casa sopra un albero, ma lottare per un sogno che c'identifichi e possa aiutare gli altri ad avere la stessa opportunità. Il presupposto fondamentale si chiama Natura. Infatti, è solo attraverso i suoi valori essenziali che possiamo comprendere ciò che è veramente importante. E se come scrivevo, realisticamente non possiamo omettere il male presente in questo mondo, allo stesso modo, con grande vigore, siamo chiamati a raccontare il bello. Siate sinceri, veramente pensate che oltre a tutta la cronaca nera che ci viene propinata ogni giorno, i nostri figli abbiano bisogno di un ulteriore rincaro di pessimismo cosmico? Personalmente, ho scelto di non accettare più tutto questo, perché il NOSTRO pianeta è anche straordinario! Lotterò con ogni singola cellula che mi costituisce con uno stimolo su tutti, ovvero, quegli occhi di un bambino che con grande dolcezza osservano il mondo. Sono loro i veri eroi, perché non hanno scelto di esserci, ma sono pronti a scoprire ed affrontare la straordinarietà del globo attraverso la parte più sincera dell'essenza umana. Io sarò li fuori a raccontare la potenza della tempesta, il soffiare del vento, il candore della neve, la magia dell'inverno.
