Pros: Sharpness, detail, bokeh

Cons: original lampshh a little faint

Opinion: I used this lens a lot and found it really good on so many occasions. A handyman of the highest quality. Fast autofocus, at least for my expectations. The only flaw is in the original lampshon that lasted little, replaced with an aluminum one, screwed that I found very practical. Solid but not very heavy, excellent grip of the rings and convenient 24 mm locking for transport and trekking. As for a must in the kit.

Pros: Brightness, sharpness, stabilization, price

Cons: Weight, diameter filters, rubber dial, stabilizer a little slow

Opinion: A very high value for money target, which is now possible to buy for less than 300 euros with a little patience. It is the classic all-rounder as a focal range, with a plus not just given by the stabilizer, very effective, but that I find slow in the intervention. The yield is pretty good at all the focal points and openings, and, honestly, I don't regret the Canon equivalent (first version), at least my specimen. Balanced perfectly with the 5DIII, it has on the barrel in addition to the classic selection switches AF/MF and VC ON/OFF, also a switch that blocks the zoom to 24mm, great when you bring the lens with you in the trekking exits. The lampshade is a bit cheap in the making, but it still does its job. The minimum focus distance is quite low, allowing for great close-ups. The diameter filters of 82mm, in line with the Canon second version, makes the cost of the filters themselves a little increase, but nothing dramatic. The only flaw, but easily solvable, are the dial tires, which tend a little to widen, as I had happened on other Tamrons, but they are found as spare parts to a few". Overall I find this lens very very good and a great alternative to Canon peers. Details and blurred by pro lens, solid construction, effective and fast enough AF, great stabilizer, but to use carefully, and certainly not in situations of quick tip and snap, where it is better to disable it to rest easy.

Pros: Blurred sharpness to onion

Cons: MAF not really a lightning, rubber ring

Opinion: I have used this optics in different services, the sharpness that pulls out is impressive as the Nikon, if not higher.. The stabilizer works well even if with quick shots it is better to put it on off, the tires of the ring nuts come off easily., take it into account the MAF is not lightning but it is quite fast then it depends on which machine you mount it. Recommended

Pros: Sharpness, AF, solidity, price, quality/price ratio, resistance to all weather conditions, stabilization

Cons: Hood, Nuts tires

Opinion: Now I use it for 5 years Best Buy in absolute is the only lens that I have not dared to change and sell, I was never disappointed in any condition he used (in the rain, under the snow, extreme temperatures both cold and hot) has never Missed a shot, only note that this summer in Sicily (after 5 years and temperatures of almost 35 ° C) after a day practically constantly under the sun the ring of MAF has slightly low but honestly can also stay. Af for me very fast never suffered from Front/back focus ever had to calibrate it and I used it pretty much as the only lens on D90 and on d610. Suffers a little bit of distortion at 24mm on FF but nothing so serious that you can not correct with a click in PP. In short, a really exceptional lens in relation to the price, so much so that now, I was so satisfied that I do not believe (after using it) is less in any way "to the original" Nikon 24/70 2.8. Also as a weight in relation to the latter I think is a feather considered the focal aperture. Yes the lens hood makes you laugh but despite all I found it solid I still have the original and it took a beating and falls but without ever making a fold. In short, how you could understand me the Straconsiglio.

Pros: Sharpness, stabilizer, fluency ring, solidity, zoom lock

Cons: Lens hood, 82mm filters, locknuts tires, Canon USM slower USD

Opinion: I purchased it after using for a year the Tamron of a friend of mine three years ago. Heavier than the Canon 24-105 that I used until recently, but it is a burden to which I am accustomed; Sharper already at 2.8 and with a better stabilizer. The AF ring is small but smooth, that zoom is harder, but in this way it makes the presence of the zoom block almost superfluous because the barrel does not go down with the lens downwards. As soon as you take it in your hand it gives you just the idea of solidity and good overall construction. The construction is however in two particular places: the AF and zoom rings that are consumed, discolour and quickly detach and the lens hood that is very light, fragile and small, is just a piece of plastic. Among the cons are the 82mm filters not so much for the magnitude itself but because it does not share the same diameter as the Tamron 70-200 2.8 of the same series. The autofocus is pretty fast, but not like the Canon USM, and it does fatigue when it lacks light.

Pros: Sharpness, construction, Autofocus

Cons: Maybe the weight, AF ring a little bit small

Opinion: I start the review by talking about the specs of this lens. 24-70 f 2.8. At first I had several doubts: there will have been a few 70mm ones on the long side? Would the 2.8 be enough to freeze the action? How useful would the stabilizer be? What portraits could have come out? After a little ' experience but I realized that a 24-70 f 2.8 allows you to really do everything, addiritutra with a thread of planning you can also do shots that could be done with fixed F2.. In short, a 24-70 is a lens that aspires to always be glued to the machine body. Could the Tamron Mark 1? The answer to all these questions is yes. First, the AF, to be a third party lens, at least in my specimen is very good and reliable. Then the sharpness is there and it is very good always. Maybe it's not a 50art, but still has a lot of it. Then if one is sick can try to pull out that fraction of roughness with a dash of sharpening. I haven't extensively tested the stabilizer, photographing people shooting often at less than 1/50. But to have it and know that it can give you 2.3, or 4 stops in the landscapes, however contributes to the judgement of lens in the round. Finally the construction is very solid. The only faults I have found are a little weight a high cicinino (which discourages to keep the reflex on the neck all day) and the ring nut for the full time manual focus a small thread and placed in the middle of the barrel, a position that requires a bit ' of habit. But the rest is a lot of stuff. A must for full frame

Pros: Construction, stabilization, overall performance

Cons: None, the tele side is slightly poor, filters 82 mm.

Opinion: Honest lens from the price contained in the used, offers so much yield at a price that is half the original Nikon 24-70 G. also offers stabilization. I can't complain about anything. With regard to surrender, compared to the Nkon d800 I realize that the tele side is qualitatively less performanant than the wide side. In essence it does well what you expect, without smeing. At 24 mm The distortion is visible but not excessive (the Nikon AFS 20 1.8 Despite being wider has less distortion-but it is a fixed, I know...). It offers saturated colors, maybe it is slightly warm in yield, I find the Greens a yellow thread and I find myself often change on LR the green slide when I click with this lens. My lens has no front/back focus problems, the AF is always very accurate fast enough for generic use. From 24 to 35 mm, comparing the yield with the Sigma 24-35 f\\2 Art which I also own, the Sigma is better in all, except for the distortion, visible on both at 24 mm. On the Nikon D800 F/11 is already excessive, at 100% there is a loss of sharpness in the finer details due to diffraction. I have not so far detected any particular problems of flare or ghosts with strong lights in the frame. Like all 24-70 f/2.8 It has on its side the versatility in the generic use, embellished in its case by the presence of the stabilization. It works well with Nikon flashes (used with sb700 and sb900) and therefore communicates smoothly with the Nikon CLS. It is a safe purchase with the only unknown common to all independent manufacturers: Future compatibility with Nikon\\canon camera bodies to come. In conclusion: I am very satisfied with the purchase and use that I make. I've never had the original Nikon 24-70 in any of its variants so I can't make comparisons but I don't feel the need to change the Tamron. When I need something more I know that I have to use a fixed. Recommended.

Pros: Sharpness, F 2.8 constant, build quality

Cons: Never disassemble, filters, blurry not exciting

Opinion: I have this optics for 2 years now, I can only say that does everything you expect when you buy it. It's the best companion you can choose on the road, practically never dismounts it. The chromatic rendition is as good as the sharpness, which reaches the maximum from F. 4 onwards. The only flaw for me is definitely the blur that is quite trivial, but for everything else I'm more than satisfied with my purchase

Pros: I don't know, for the time being

Cons: Weight, cost, stabilizer and AF

Opinion: I took the piece used by a well-known store in Padua. Equal to the new one with two years warranty. I have not yet been able to make a shot in focus.... I tried in all conditions, with tripod and not, with stabilizer and not day and night, at all focal lengths. I haven't been able to take a picture in focus yet. I have read, even in this forum, that so many have encountered the same problem.

Pros: Optical quality: useful to T.A., it is excellent from f.4 to the extreme corners of the frame, very good colors, absence of flares and parasitic reflections even backlight "shot", effective stabilizer, solid and reliable construction, multivalent for reportage and panoramas, modest price, 5 years of warranty

Cons: weight, blurry not ugly but a little banal, lacks the field prondity scale (but lacks in almost all current zooms), try your specimen at the purchase, there is a lot of dispersion of quality according to the specimen (front/back focus). Then it is very sensitive to diction, the quality expires quite after F.11

Opinion: It's really a handyman's optics that is always in my bag, at first I found it a bit heavy and cumbersome, but I got used to it and now I'm very fond of this goal, : the optical quality is really good, only the blurred (boken), sometimes, makes me regret the fixed focals; not that it is ugly, it is very harmonious but a bit banal without "personality"... but for reportage and travel is not a problem. In short, I am very happy with the purchase, if I had to buy a zoom I would buy the same, but I did not abandon the fixed focals that for me remain indispensable. PS : when I bought it again it had such a back-focus that you could not recover it with the micro-adjustment AF camera. I sent it to the race from Tamron and a week later they returned it perfect to me, now the micro-regulation AF is zero and the AF is extremely precise and fast, all free including shipping costs, under warranty... don't forget to take an AF test when you buy it.

Pros: Focal excursion, vc, opening 2.8

Cons: Zoom ring slightly fluid, hoody and absolutely not at 'height.

Opinion: Optics promoted, not with full marks but is appreciated. The stabilizer is not bad at a first test iso 100, 70mm, and 1/10 at about 3mt from the subject with a correct posture, did not hesitate even once. As a handyman, all in all, it is an octane glass, it would not have problems for street and reportage set in twilight as it responds to 70mm.rnAt the same way, at the same focal but opening to the maximum, the blur is pleasant and not excessively nervous, so all occurrence usable for portraits.rnOn my D700 the AF is not lightning but we are not talking about a hunting lens, nor is it the body of the car, the colors at first glance are a bit cold compared to the old style lenses that I usually use but nothing extreme.rnI had the opportunity to try the G2, for half an hour and sincerely for now its predecessor does not disfigure much.rnPeso ?? Mah on D700 is a perfect combination or at least I do not mind at all.rnAbsolutely the hood, hard and insufficient.rnThe ghiezoom lens little fluent.rnAcquistata used at 550 € with 2 years warranty residual, I am satisfied and I recommend surely.rn

Pros: Sharpness, loose colors, 2.8 opening and usable opening, solid construction though made of synthetic materials, all compact. I forgot that it was stabilized.

Cons: A bit demanding for weight, but less heavy than canon counterparts. Filter diameter of 82.

Opinion: I found it used as new and at a great price, a bit by accident, and it has become the central part of my cameramen kit. I was somewhat uncertain of the too many reviews that, on this site, exacerbated the defects (but from all the tests and reviews on the net emerged a very different reality) despite that I wanted to test with hand if they corresponded to reality and so did not is. We start from the hardened hood, of which they are called of all colors (small, graceful, does not serve anything, etc., etc.) but is of the same shape and approximately the same size as the hood of Canon 24- 70 L 2.8 II or 24-105 series I and II and other optics currently on the market, but none of them said anything, the construction seems good and has never given any sign of failure. The yield I found was superior to all the focal points at the Canon 24-70 L 2.8 first series (which I had to test well since I wanted to buy it but did not exalt me), also does not suffer from the curvature problemto field at shorter focal lengths. I can not make a comparison with the II series as it has ever been tried, but being simply a cameraman I'm not interested in spending three times bigger numbers for a paper quality a little bit better without having a cheap return and not having the stabilizer that in the state of low light is an extra gear to make photography in the ambient light without the risk of moving or having to carry behind a tripod (too much is not allowed to place an easel wherever you are). I find it a great goal for ff to fit in the car (a serious machine with which it is well balanced) and take very seldom for the use of super wide angles or thrusters, then return to mount it for 90% of the remaining photos especially without flash (naturally for static subjects with slow times). Of course, it is not the perfect optics, but the zoom is generally not for construction, but it is a good compromise and compromise. With the release of the new G2 model updated aesthetically and ifWith great breakthroughs in performance, the prices of the used go away, making it a great deal for those who want a good optic without spending one eye on the head.

Pros: cost, is frequently found in the used market, 2.8 constant, vr, lock for zoomatarn

Cons: the zoom that makes the lens extend is a kind of vacuum cleaner, at 24mm there is a lot of distortion (it's not too much against), I expected a better performance at backlight, bad latch, exaggerated filter diameter

Opinion: I've been using this fantastic zoom for several months, optical quality is amazing, and I feel it is very suitable for street and landscapes photos, in fact more photos from "everyday" and it's its advantage, because it lets you dare with the fantasy. The 70mm I do not like much as they do for portraits, in fact, I always prefer to replace it with my 85mm 1.8 if I can, not so much for the brightness as for the more mms that better off the subject than to distort less. I did several backlight tests with the sun at sunset and made me flare, unfortunately ... I was hoping to resist more or better ... I would have liked to delight a bit with the nd filters but I did not have so big diameters (82mm ), the cost for NDs of those sizes and that they are qualitatively good is about 100 euros ... The weight is not exaggerated, we say that when you see it, you expect a certain weight! The vr is an invasive coat, as soon as it engages the fire the image moves rischianI'm going to determine a move image ... The sharpness on my d610 is at a good level, especially when I close already at f4 and 5.6 gives very thin details ... It's worth spending on 650-700 euros in the market of the used compared to 1500 (at least) of the nikon fee, now, certainly nikon will be better in many respects, but for my use and my experience tamron is more than enough. Conclusion: Excellent handyman for FF, very useful for excursions and trips where you have to limit the gear to the bone.

Pros: Sharpness, construction, stabilization and tropicalization

Cons: Distortion to 24mm

Opinion: Great goal, I found myself very good right now. It has become one with my d750. A bit heavy, but stable. The sharpness is exceptional in particular by closing it with two stops but in general it works well in all the openings. Detect enough in 24mm but personally it is not a problem ... with a couple of pp clicks it resolves everything. Asurd that Tamron makes such holes in .. in some situations it does not serve nothing at all. Definitely recommend it, great quality-price lens

Pros: Construction, sharpness, excellent stabilizer, tropicalized. Lock button on barrel.

Cons: Lens not at eye level.

Opinion: The lens has exceptional sharpness. It has an excessive weight and the stabilizer works flawlessly. You want to never remove it from the car body. I only do it to mount a 70 200. It has an important frontal diameter (82 mm), therefore it requires a generously sized protective filter (I have mounted a Hoya HD protector for a cost of around 60 € and therefore not forbidden). Closing a couple of stops, from the top of the self, even if at all opening it does not disappoint. What to say, happy to own it. Vote 10 and praise.

Pros: Sharpness, full colors, aperture, stabilization, mechanical lock of the zoom at rest

Cons: The zoom ring in the video field does not allow small fluid movements, but in photography it is perfect

Opinion: Purchased nearly 3 years ago after excluding the Nikon 24-70 G ED then unsaved and paid half: since then it is always mounted on the D610 with which I shoot 90% of the photos. The large diameter and weight give a feeling of stability in the sx hand and weighs 245 gr. Less than the Nikkor 24-70mm f / 2.8 and ED VR. It has a huge frontal diameter (82mm) diameter that required the attachment of a small hood, otherwise they would have to study a hood with a much larger diameter. Autofocus is not a lightning strike but is correct and some light weight problems I attribute to the D610 that does not excel in these cases. Mild short-range distortion corrects with a click in Camera Raw. Recommended, for me one of the best shopping in the photographic field.

Pros: Stabilization, sharpness, saturated colors, fair price

Cons: Absolutely inadequate hood, some flare too

Opinion: The lens is great and does its job well. In extreme situations, the hood is little more than useless. For such a look would be a hail like Nikon's. Longer and more serious .. Anyway I'm looking for one and I will find it .. I ask for advice here, maybe to find a brand or something more serious. It's a shame that the Tamron has just caught on a particular so ... I think I can fix my problem, but if I think of the Nikon 24-70 hood that I tried and Tamron's hood, the difference is embarrassing!

Pros: Construction, cost, stabilizer

Cons: Variability of specimens

Opinion: I had to try it 3 before finding that right, but now it has become the main optic of my kit. Having no chance to spend more than double for the Canon II series (I'm not a professional so I would not be able to cushion the expense) I tried both the I series and the little brother F4. The first did not convince me for clarity, the second is clear, but unfortunately it's just F4. I wanted to try the Tamron, and after looking for a copy in the used that it was okay I bought it and I'm quite satisfied. Of course, the Canon II series is superior, but it is (unfortunately) also the price. I think that for an amateur is a great solution without getting faint

Pros: Weight, sharpness, blur and vibration compensation

Cons: Slight distortion at 24mm, for the rest nothing

Opinion: After several fixed lenses, I decided to buy this high-brightness medium-zoom lens as an all-in-one mount for the nikon d810, I was astonished by the sharpness, has nothing to envy at a 24-70 of the Nikon home, it's very compact and You notice a little this gives you more security against theft. Weighs a little despite the diameter of the lenses (82mm). Also recommended for those who make videos as well as photos.

Pros: High f / 4 sharpness, general solid feel, tropicalized, effective stabilizer

Cons: Nervous, cold dominant, 24mm distortion

Opinion: I have been holding this lens for 2 and a half years, but I can only praise it and highlight the few flaws, especially for a really good quality / price ratio. R Very clear in the center by f / 4, it loses its edge on the edges . The stabilizer really appreciated when low light turns it into a good shooting companion. The AF is the characteristic on which I move into criticism with fast-moving subjects: it's not always accurate as in other cases of use, where it does its job well.rn I blurred it I found it nervous, hard ( A user in a little previous review has called me onion and agrees) but this is a matter of merely personal taste. The shades of color that I return are, to my mind, tending to the cold (also here with personal taste), while the shorter focal distortion is quite evident (both corrected in post-production). General quality, resistant to humansDense and dusty, it offers a good feeling of solidity. By virtue of the price it is sold I feel full of advice.

Pros: Price and size

Cons: Focus not always impeccable and vignetting (controllable by machine body or in post)

Opinion: Excellent professional optics, comparable to the Nikon or Canon homologue for both sharpness and quality. The low price makes it very appealing for those who want to have a professional quality at a fair price; Also the smaller size than the Nikon officer (I think it also applies to Canon) makes the lens quite easy to use in all conditions. The snooze is the focus that is sometimes a bit slow (not a lens Sport obviously) and vignetting at f2.8 but I personally fix it directly in the car (Nikon D800) or that can be adjusted in post production. I'm totally happy with this optic and heartbord

Pros: Versatility, construction

Cons: Micromouse problems at 1/125 or faster times with inserted vr.

Opinion: I bought this lens for its versatility in replacing sigma 24/70, reading various positive comments. Honestly, it does not make me crazy as sharpness and rendering optical but the most annoying thing is the light micromouse that you have with fast times and inserted, so many shot throws. For the rest of my humble opinion nothing exceptional, except its versatility. Good blur for a lens of the genre.

Pros: sharpness at all focal lengths, color rendering, and repeat color rendition, blurred although it is obviously not his strong point, construction, stabilization and openness, and cost rningombri

Cons: diameter of the filter (82mm), weight but that 'is unfortunately due to the opening, and from there can not escape. Blurry good but does not have a corresponding level of nikon and canon, it is not weather sealed

Opinion: I purchased this lens at the end of 2014 and it was my main lens to date. The sharpness, color rendering, opening and range of blankets focal does not regret both canikon fees, and the use of fissi.rnLa color rendering of nikon is just spectacular and perfect, not pumped colors and very natural, it is as if the nikon goals that effect had been taken a little pastel, and had been increased color drama, making the colors a bit 'more' main smorti.rnL'utilizzo I made this point was for landscapes and portraits , always getting good results, speaking purely of file quality. For landscaping I have often used the CPL and ND filters, and the use of 24mm filters to create a vignette meccqnica important, in fact I discourage the use cascading to 24mm, 28mm already has the situation improves drasticamente.rnL'obbiettivo A resolution and truly embarrassing clarity aperture interaverage, even more 'I clear my Nikon 50mm 1.4 at the center. The zoom of the problem is always that edge. However, the edges are not bad and very small apertures, by F / 9 up improve so much, even if the sharpness decreases in the middle, but the yield becomes more 'uniforme.rnLo stabilizer is not necessary on a lens of this kind, but in some situation has proved useful, although it is a very subjective thing, however, adds an added value to the lens and is really a plus when you turn the videoclip.rnl'ottica is very balanced, compared to nikon has a more 'large diameter and is less long, so it has a better center of gravity, the construction is very good but does not guarantee protection against moisture and dust, and then do not recommend the purchase to those who are traveling or is often found in unpleasant situations. Although with proper precautions you can 'live the same felicemente.rnrnSe you are not a professional photographer and you can not afford the 24-70 nikon and canon, or simpleMind you want to save money in the purchase I can not help but recommend this ottica.rnrnMatteo

We do everything: landscapes, portraits, street, reportage ... what about ... then try it you will buy right away ... even more so when compared with "the more famous" trademarks. Never fiermarsi brand ... that is in part a symptom of reliability ... but here tamron (as he did with the Tamron SP 70-200mm f / 2.8 Di VC USD) gave a jolt with the top products at affordable prices " reasonable "

Pros: Sharpness, Aperture, Quality / Price, Stabilization

Cons: difficult to find

Opinion: A great lens for those seeking certain focal lengths and a great versatility in different situations without the need to shell out astronomical figures. I was lucky enough to buy one used in mint condition and I must say I have never regretted essermene. One can not define a target "magic", the kind that enchant at first use, but certainly a "faithful" companion and trusted. It boasts a fast AF speeds and better driveability fire, despite having a fairly important role. Surely an excellent purchase on the quality / price ratio. For those not enormi.rnPs claims: In my opinion routs emblazoned 24-105 Canon, these 30mm more NOT make a difference if you do not, in the negative, for the Canon.

Pros: Sharpness, weight stabilization, solid feel

Cons: Hood-looking fragile and diameter of 82mm

Opinion: I bought this lens without actually having the need to cover the focal my disposal because of the already very good nikon 24 / 120f4 and three fixed lenses (28/50/85 all 1.8g) that I have not sold and which still use with satisfaction. I took it on a whim and because I wanted to minimize the backpack for medium / long runs where I can not load myself with slow but carry with me only the "triad" without making me too many thoughts. What about ... I almost did not deadlift more from my camera (d750) and use it in many occasions from street to landscape to portrait. I already knew the goodness of Tamron lenses as happy owner of a fantastic 15-30 and this is not far behind. In both cases I have preferred to corresponding nikon them and are not at all repentant. I read that some have found front / back focus, perhaps the first samples ... Or maybe it's just luck, mine is fantastic in every way, and the only fault is not having it ... Perfectly balanced with my SLR and weight & eacute; then so much ... At least I have only "heavy" slow and I'm not complaining ... It will be a question of habit

Pros: Value for 'extraordinary price, sharpness, construction.

Cons: hood improvable

Opinion: Using this' optical two years, mounted on the first D 70 and subsequently on 7 D Mark II. I have always enjoyed it and gives clear images already at 2.8, before improving to F 4 and up. Tropical conditions stabilized, truly exceptional; I also have the Canon 24-105 F4 L and you notice no difference in the sharpness. Pros: Price quality stabilization.

Cons: None, if you happen a piece without AF problems.

Opinion: After a year with the 24-105 and after so many second thoughts because of its known problems, I finally decided to buy this Tamron, again with a 5 year warranty. The 24-105 (now sold) was really good zoom handyman, but on many occasions I considered most need the 2.8 more than those 105mm. So I decided to groped the purchase. I can only tell you that if you are lucky, as it was me, of hitting a good example, this is the best all-rounder for the price zoom qualities. Crisp even at TA, excellent stabilizer, weather sealed. In short, no way I miss 24-105, indeed, and I count it as handyman, given the fact that it saves me even those in low light that before I was forced to shoot at f4, with poor sharpness and high ISO. If I have to find him some defect may zoom on the contrary, even if we get used, and the lens hood, the fact that the lateral petals a bit short so there very well protects the lens. I also got to try the Canon 24-70 2.8 and sincerely that slight sharpness more youedges and the absence of the stabilizer are not worth € 1000 more. Try you too, buy it, you do not regret veins.

Opinion: I would say that the difference to 28-75 tamron I had before is obvious. The photos are very sharp in B without the need to intervene with much postroduzione. Opinion: I write in order to prevent others to do my mistake. I took this view after reading various reviews and because the 70-200 is fully PLEASED that the Tamron 15-30, but this view is not at those levels. To get an interesting sharpness you must close at f4. A 2.8 is as if there was a veil over the lens; nothing unrecoverable and dramatic, but certainly unsatisfactory professional levels. Cons: Hood a little bit fragile (in appearance but nn I believe in substance at least until now).

Opinion: I took this Tamron after several readings here on the site, trial and error with various home rivals Sigma and Nikon..ma the end my choice fell on him, a bargain and really performance on all occasions. It involves the wonder with my D610 never giving me problems of any kind, the MAF is rapid and color rendering is outstanding at least for my taste, and then the weight will not feel that much even if nn is so lightweight, a it does turn up their nose is maybe the size of the front lens and the relative cost of the various filters that one could mount, but if we really need you do a little effort and on;). Opinion: Unfortunately, my experience with this (first) lens TAMRON was negative. I found out after the first CLEAN CONTACTS problems which was a very common problem when mounted with Canon 6D. Really disappointed, because it is an excellent lens. The sharpness is great and is relatively light. Stabilized and weather sealed, I thought I had bought a lens that I would last years. Pros: attractive design, the use of a Nikon D7100 and offers excellent results. Sharpness and color purity in all situations. Used for landscapes, portraits and street. Tropicalization and the fact that it is also stabilized are other points in its favor. It also has a zoom lens of the block, which stops at 24mm, so in the case of transport or when you keep the weight moves the zoom unnecessarily neck. The robustness and build quality are excellent, maybe could be better the type of plastic used, but these are details.

Cons: The filters for the attack is very large, which makes it expensive purchase. Slower dell''autofocus using focus points continuously variable (type 9 points or 51 focus points). It does not happen in the case of the focusing point single focus.

Opinion: The lens is of excellent quality, is very versatile and can be kept permanently on the machine. Compared to the Nikon series it is softer which makes it convenient in situations of portraits. Considering the price becomes very interesting. The zoom ring is not hard but safe, the movement is precise. In some cases the weight is felt, but all optics of a certain quality must weigh especially because they have more lenses inside the barrel. The lens hood leaves something to be desired, it could definitely be of better quality, but as far as I count the optical quality for the results it offers.

Pros: Price, quality optics, image stabilization, great, high quality real handyman

Cons: Onion-shaped bokeh, lens hood is kinda slim, battery drain

Opinion: I have this lens for October 2015, picked to replace a 24-70 L first series for stabilization. Build quality and good image even if compared with the product of the parent company. The sharpness at room temperature is noticeably larger than the Canon MkI although these kinda regret the bokeh and focus, which gave it to my pictures a mood closer to what I'm looking for (but I have the 35 f/1.4). The most negative feature of this lens is in my opinion the unattractive formation of concentric circles at point lights in the blurred, the so-called "bokeh onion", however a very short account. On the 5 d MkII I have encountered no problems with front or back focus and autofocus is much better than I thought, even with low light side steps, conditions under which accuses only a certain slowness. Excellent, never had problems shake stabilizer complained by many, 1/8 shooting handheld. Colors to my taste a tad cold. Battery drain striking if left mounted on the body, I must remember to remove or disconnect battery. Lens that I would recommend strongly: If you require stabilization is a solution that I personally feel much better than the Canon 24-105, in spite of mm less. Due to the lower brightness I did not take into account the Canon f/4 so I can't make any comparisons.

The yield and sharpness are immediately very high (up to f4 is outstanding) .rnL'af I must say that it is quiet and fairly quick, but when compared to Nikon is less speedy; the VC instead works fine and my copy is reasonably straightforward to camera shake when shooting with safety times. rnUn few negative notes: the zoom ring is quite tough and has a race a bit 'long by 24 to 70 and then carefully removed as the goal, always remember to unplug the machine to 24 mm focal superior because you discover the internal circuitry of the lens. rn

Just over two or three weddings this year, he appeared on the monitor of the reflex an error message, saying "problem focusing lens to incompatibility". Then, once he cycled the car spun round and smooth away .. fortunately !! Another problem I found, as mentioned among the other hand, is a slight camera shake in some photos (sometimes not so slight) with times of absolute security, as 1/160 and 1/250, with the stabilization inserted. After much research, just on this forum I saw that others have encountered the same problem. Diffetto that still does not show up in all the shots, but often enough. I did several tests without Vc and the photos are all perfette.rnPer the rest, I find it a fantastic goal as sharpen, blur (to "onion" over highlights, which I do not mind at all), and color rendering. Pros: Sharpness, Color, stabilizer, weather sealed

Cons: Hood skimpy, AF works fine with adequate light but struggling a bit 'low light to focal low.

Opinion: I purchased it recently because I needed a substitute 24-105L f.4 that although the last production I did not like the definition (too soft) for use with body 5DMark III. From the first pictures I found that AF has a fast but only in the presence of very good light and if you use it as I used it I quickly and often changing focal lengths, sometimes (with focal below the 40mm) struggling in MF especially with stabilizer entered and you can do no more than 2 photos of 5. In the rest of the situations is an excellent optics for me with excellent focal 70mm diaphragms on all the good blurry f.2.8 from f.4 onwards is very incisive with faithful colors , has a little 'vignetting at 24mm but not as the 24-105 that was terrible, AC light but only with front light and not as the 24-105 that was unrecoverable to 80%. Conclusions after 3 days of testing is that it has acquired an excellent lens not completely substitute the (24-105 that me'come zoom range is exceptionally good) but with F.2.8 best there is only the Canon 24-70L f. 2.8 II USM, while compared with the CanonSeries one (I've tried) is significantly better and recommended for those who can not afford the Canon 24-70L f.2.8 USM II.

Cons: Autofocus. I can not make the adjustment with 5dlll.

Opinion: Maybe I was unlucky ... but with autofocus we did not own; you can not make the fine adjustment of the room, so I have to manually correct (and often is a problem ...). If he had not I would be happy with this problem, although I must say that after trying the canon, the Tamron is far behind for sharpness (and autofocus). I think I will make an effort and I will change it to the canon.

Pros: Sharpness, stabilization (phenomenal) engine af fast and accurate

Cons: Hood, weight

Opinion: Really amazing rendition to any opening I was really impressed by the color fidelity, the relationship between light / shadow and for the remarkable stabilization. I tried several Canon series I must tell you that the result is more than similar. They are not as "professional" that you can judge the full, at least not yet, but I can not recommend this lens so excited since changed my 5D and has raised the quality of the sensor. Of course, the weight, between 5D, battery grip, lens nearly 2kg .... but who cares ..... lots of glass, a lot of quality and great satisfaction in files that churns out the combination. What about others? The lens hood is literally sucks (but have stressed all) especially in the thread.

Cons: few: Hood, slight vignetting (but 'a real flaw?)

Opinion: took this week to replace the 24-105 kit canon of which I was not satisfied .... I only regret not having made the change before seen the ridiculous price difference compared to the canon: this lens (from my point of view) worth every euro of its price (and even more 'seen that the much famed 24-70 canon coast more' than twice)!

Pros: excellent sharpness, good stabilizer, good autofocus

Cons: high weight, bokeh onion

Opinion: I have used this lens on my canon 6d for about a year with great satisfaction, initially I used it to 17-40 then joined mainly for portraits (ambientati and not) and some landscape where I needed a longer focal length or in situations low light. Then it was with me for a month in the states where I got to use it a lot in the urban landscape at night and also as a handyman walking into town. I found myself really covered very good in almost all situations. The stabilizer is phenomenal and has allowed me to shoot even at 1/4 or 1/8 freehand. I would absolutely recommend. The only negative notes are the weight and the bokeh is not particularly pleasant in some situations, especially at night.

Pros: sharpness, af accurately and quickly, stabillizzato

Cons: weight, lens hood, construction

Opinion: I own this light for almost two years in version canon, that is, price / performance is unbeatable, Tamron's engineers have really done an excellent job, clear already in TA, AF excellent, precise and fast and the price really low taking into account that it is also the only 24-70 f2.8 with image stabilization, only sore point is the construction, it is ok to levels well above the usual plasticotti Tamron, but in front of the canon fades in a jiffy all in all there always be borne in mind that it also costs less than half the canon 24-70 mkII and his work does so admirably.

Opinion: I bought a couple of months and I decided to write my impressions on lente.rnLa build quality of Tamron (albeit not to the height of the optical equivalent nikon and canon top level) is reported to be excellent, it is a robust lens, equipped of a good system of weather sealing, weighing less than the 24-70 home nikon 2.8 (825g VS900) .rnL'unica sore point is the hood, not at the level of the lens and the diameter of the filters from 82 mm (in house nikon most of the optical F4 / 2.8 filters have a diameter from 77 mm) .rnIl stabilization system is very efficient, allowing to recover 3/4 stop, the system focus is very fast and accurate .rnIl Tamron is a lens extremely crisp, with excellent color rendering with chromatic aberrations extremely small, good resistance to flare .Riguardo yield major defects are distortion and vignetting at 24mm f2.8 at 24mm, the bokeh is good (not at the level of the nikon 24- / 70 or 28/70), although some users, in particular conditions, have reported the presence of "Bokeh onion" .rnIl quality / price ratio is very high! The Tamron 24/70 has a cost of about € 600 less than the nikon 24/70 f2.8 and offers a guarantee of 5 years .rnIn conclusion are extremely pleased with the lens and I highly recommend it as a standard zoom!

RnCon 800 euro you will come home a very sharp lens (even at room temperature), bright, and stabilized with a construction professional ... all with a guarantee of 5 years (but applies only to the original purchaser)! I never would have said ... I have always had prejudices against the slow "third", this Tamron has opened my eyes! The equivalent Nikon is just as good, but costs more and is not stabilized ... and it's in a bit less clear. The Canon's second version costs twice the Tamron.rnNon I considered vignetting and distortion as defects, the two are remediable in PS with a few clicks. Not even the weight of a defect, is a professional zoom with constant aperture f / 2.8 and weighs as direct concorrenti.rnL'unica downsides lies in the hood ... is really ridiculous and not at all indeguato the type of lens: I decided to leave it to always be mounted to avoid breakage during assembly / disassembly! rnNon I found the bag to protect the lens, should be included in a lens 800 euro ... but I remedied with a bag Neoprene purchased on Amazon (15 Euros for 4 bags of various sizes) rn

Pros: Stabilizer, construction, sharpness, brightness, value for money

Cons: Slight vignetting at F / 2.8 on FF, slight distortion at 24mm

Opinion: I bought this lens a few months ago and I use it on Canon 6D. I was very hesitant about purchasing for having read some reviews that talked about the problem of Battery Drain. Before taking the Tamron I had the Canon 24-70 F / 2.8L USM (first series) and before that the Canon 24-105 F / 4 L IS USM and I must say that there is no story. This lens is best at everything, especially compared with the Canon 24-70L F / 2.8 USM (first series) considering that the price of the new Tamron is almost equal to the price of the used Canon 24-70L F / 2.8 USM. Probably, reading some reviews, it is slightly less than the Canon 24-70L F / 2.8 USM II but the price difference is more than double. The construction is good and quality is excellent and the zoom lock. The images are sharp and colors I like in particular. Opinion: After a little 'of shots can I leave my opinion on this lens. Excellent! A remarkable sharpness of the images in any opening range. The weight is substantial but due to the type of lens you could not think otherwise, but at the end of the day not too tired. The lens hood is really ridiculous! perhaps the only flaw. Pros: Construction excellent, robust, without games, well finished, f/2.8 with stabilizer, razor sharp at all focal lengths is at the center than at the edges, and even at full aperture. I'm loving it. I got to compare it directly with the Canon 24-70f/2.8 LI series, there is no story!

Cons: Distorts at 24, but nothing that can not correct in PP. a bit 'heavy, but in this class of targets who is not? Lens hood a bit 'too light.

Opinion: After purchasing the new Canon 24-70 f/2.8LI series and not be left satisfied, I found peace by purchasing this Tamron at the suggestion of friends in this forum. I fell in love, both for the high quality construction, both for the clarity that reaches wide open and at all focal lengths. Fast autofocus, VC 4 stop which is a rarity on this class of targets. Lately Tamron is doing a great job with its optics. I have not found defects alleged by the other kind of sharpness fall on low contrast situations. No problem with regard to the discharge of the battery. All new Tamron have the latest firmware and do not suffer more from this problem. Probably the 24-70f/2.8 Canon L series II will be sharper (what?), But it certainly does not have the stabilizer is costs more than double. Evaluate you. About: warranty 5 anni.rnP.S. Pros: Excellent construction, nothing to do with the old 17-55 is canon I owned .. here we are on another planet! Very sharp at all focal lengths. The stabilizer does its duty: Allows you to shoot with times that would be impossible for non-stabilized optical type 1/15 second or meno.Lo use with great satisfaction in the nightclub business coupled to a Canon 600EX flash 6d and the rt. From Amazing Results! The bokeh is good but lower than an objective canon and nikon. Let's say that it is less creamy .. The quality of the plastics is good. It 'sa bit heavy in the hand but by a' good solid feel.

Cons: Distortion at 24mm showy enough not fully correctable. Cartoon with photoshop but at certain focal resolves. The lens hood is too small. I would have preferred a facsimile of the canon. Another downside with little or no highlighted by other users on the network is the dust that can 'entering the lens if you do not block the optical position with the button before removing it from the slide. The autofocus is a bit 'slower than the canon when shooting in low light. Filters 82mm expensive.

Opinion: I bought this lens after I was well documented in various foreign sites. They talked a lot of good. I've seen a myriad of video not to mention the reviews that I've read .. I was very undecided whether to buy the old canon 24-70 I (used) without stabilizer or somethin 'else. After careful analysis I have come to the conclusion that presently there is nothing better for this price. I also thought the new 24-70 f4 is but the price and the loss of a stop made me desist from the purchase. The use prevalentamente disco with canon 6d and unimaginable results for other optical sibling: I just want to see you with the canon 24-70 II in the dark. Camera shake is still there! The sharpness is great! rnPurtroppo requires filters with a 82mm thread which costicchiano something more than the usual 77mm canon, etc.. I mounted a filter of B + W neutral to protect it from dirt. It should be great, do not notice any loss of quality in the image with this filter. Council to be very careful when it is removed from the slide: if it is notstuck with the "lock" by rotating the rear part of the lens ring leaving exposed internal components and allowing dust to enter the lens. Another thing that happened to me with the entry of a grain of dust in the optical phase change in speed. The autofocus in the dark, when used with center point (in 6d is the most sensitive), rnfatica a bit 'to focus on: you turn on the red square (the focus in this case may' not be precise) after which waiting yet again you have confirmation of focus and it is at this point that must be squeezed otturattore the way down. With this system of approximately 600 pictures not miss a beat! I do not regret the choice I made, in fact I buy another one. Please note some users come into possession of optical flawed: the diaphragms were not working well. To check this just shut one stop at a time is to verify that there is a marked decline in overall brightness. IF it were not so the lens is to be repaired. Even the STABILIZERhours is not existent defects. However, if you buy it in Italy by poliphoto give you 5 years warranty! Rnrn

Pros: Sharpness at all focal lengths and TA, stabilizer very effective, excellent color rendering, USD silent, soundness, sealing, buying it in the store you get the Polyphoto warranty of 5 years.

Cons: Quite heavy but definitely understandable why, expensive 82mm filters, focusing not just fast in low light conditions but overall acceptable, considerable price, but considering the Canon 24-70 f2.8 II would say that saving is a lot.

Opinion: I purchased this light for my Canon 6D after reading several reviews and watched many videos comparison with the more expensive Canon 24-70 f2.8 II, it was said that on many comparisons lost sharpness at 24mm compared to canon, I could make a comparison between these 2 personal goals thanks to a friend who owns it, and I have not seen any noticeable loss of sharpness, nor the rest of it to 24mm focal lengths and apertures (at least for my copy) the only things that I can say may be slightly better in canon is that in low light conditions Canon engages faster (although in each case tamron always snaps and never misses the focus), but in contrast canon does not have the stabilizer and I would say that there is little second thing, the hood of the Tamron is just infimo.rnNon know if it was luck or if they are all so these tamron, but as for me I consider myself quite satisfied, my friend said the fact that some rode, he could save € 1000. , D

Cons: practically nothing, the only relief in my opinion is on the sun visor, a piece of plastic substantially inadequate to slow and practically useless.

Opinion: I bought this zoom to prepare for the FF, so I'm not able to fully assess the characteristics. What I can say is that in APS-C I missed so much the ability to use the full 24mm. I think if I had a FF in my last trip to Patagonia, I would have used only this view, already with APS-C I did 80% of the shots and also for the views I preferred to shoot in vertical sequences, where the affinity the lens shooting freehand was extraordinary.

Opinion: I own this lens for about a month, taken in tandem with the 6d, and strongly supported than the kit with 24-105, because of its good features decanted into several parts after several tests and usi.rnPurtroppo I have not used yet very because here is a month now that it rains every day, and go out to check its sealing, it should be my health because I am not weather sealed against the elements:-D. rnLe tests done at home I was fully satisfied, and although I'm not an expert in tests and reviews, my impression is very good as far as my eye can see compared to other lenses I had.

Pros: sharpness construction ... (I took it to -16 ° and I had it made changes in temperature of 30 degrees without problems) ... speed af, stabilization .... ...

Cons: a little vignette to 24 mm but nothing to worry about ... and 82mm filters are expensive ...

Opinion: bought after reading countless reviews praising it ... and I agree with them .. used on nikon d700 is perfect ... really nice crisp .. and having tried the 24-70 nikon I must say that well ... . Tamron has made a huge leap in qualità.l 'autofocus is fast .. the stabilizer does its job very well .. maybe only drawback is that the front lens is 82mm and the diameter filters cost a little problem ... solved using filter plate

Pros: Perfect clarity, even at RT. Price contenuto.rnStabilizzatore really great (shooting up to 1/3 of a second to 70mm blur-free). RnBuona and fast focusing. Silenzioso.rn

Cons: A little heavy, maybe a little small hood; distortion at 24 mm. Slight vignetting at 24 mm f2.8

Opinion: Having a nikon d600, I was inclined to buy the nikon 24-70. Only seeing the price (well minimum € 1,800) and considering the fact that it was very cumbersome and even without the stabilizer, I went to look at the sigma and tamron. For some € 100 plus the Tamron was equipped with stabilizer unlike the sigma, so it was worth spending a little more, and the choice proved successful. I tried to take photos of 2 time 1/2 of a second focal length 50mm. The first without stabilizer, the second with it on. The result has left me speechless. Although I had a very steady hand, the first move is coming, but with the stabilizer I got a photo perfectly stable and clear: DrnSi feels much weight, and unfortunately there is distortion at the minimum focal length. But compared to other brands and prices, I think it is the most convenient target.

Pros: Sharpness quite good already wide open, good yield of fuzzy (but see Cons) AF fast and silent, effective stabilizer and quiet, excellent construction, competitive price

Cons: Bokeh onion in some situations

Opinion: BACKGROUND: I bought the lens for a next step to Full Frame, at the moment I have a APS-C body, so all the tests and the results of which I speak are evaluated on cropped sensor body. rnrn-Sharpness and IQ: The sharpness is GOOD at the center of the frame at all focal lengths, even at full aperture. What really leaves satisfied is that moving towards the edges, until arriving at the corners loses very little and has a sharpness EXCELLENT when compared for example to 50 mm 1.8 (that the center is, however, slightly sharper). This suggests that the lens is much more enjoyable on full frame, where I assume a GOOD sharpness from corner to corner. rnLo focus is very pleasant. Very creamy and without the "jitters". The shape of the bokeh light points is perfectly smooth, round, elliptical without variations. However, in certain circumstances (actually not too frequent in normal situations), such as underexposed background with bokeh, bokeh presents onion. rnQuesto is aico defect with regard to the optical quality, aberrations not detected absolutely and sealing of the flare medium-high. rnrn-AF: autofocus is on the whole, VERY GOOD. Precise. Quite fast (a little slower than the 85mm 1.8) and inaudible. rnrn-VC: the stabilizer is GOOD, 70mm can shoot at 1/8 without shake; 24mm to arrive in fifth. Silent too, feels just approaching the ear lens. rnrn-Building and nuts: The build quality is EXCELLENT. Is not a featherweight but it is still slightly lighter than lenses with which contributes. From an extreme sense of solidity. Very convenient lock button zoom to 24mm to avoid accidental extension. The zoom ring is the one towards the front lens, the focus is toward the body. The collars also run counter to the objectives canon, I is not appearing at all difficult to adapt. The zoom ring is large, well rubbed, hereis hard, as I find it convenient. rnQuella focus is smaller and softer, is convenient and very precise. rnrn-Vignetting and distortion: scattanto on aps-c clearly this does not say anything. Additionally, there are features that I consider important. rnrn-comparisons and conclusions: The only competitor that I tried was the Canon 24-70 2.8. Mark I. I am not convinced at all neither for its sharpness, nor for the AF. Honestly with tammy I had suffered very much feeling. As I have already pointed out, the sharpness is good already at room temperature, with good sealing the edges. The stabilizer can be a godsend as to do nothing, that is very sogettivo, I have also tried the video and I must say that you turn by hand as if he were on a tripod. Recover in the photo is 3.5 stop the endpoint canvases and 3 stop on the extreme wide-angle (and I do not have very steady hand). The only problem, as mentioned, is in some rare cases, the bokeh onion. What can I say? the straconsiglio. Non doubt that the mark II canon is sharper, but has no stabilizer and above all cost at least twice as much!

Pros: Sharpness from TA - good contrast - Excellent construction (firmest) - Presence of key lock (despite the zoom does not have games and seems tight) - Stabilizer great, allows you to take time to very low without hesitation and not noisy at all (in Unlike that of the Tamron 70-300 vc) - USD rapid and very precise - Price below the Canon 24-70 series 1 and incredibly below the series 2

Cons: Maybe a little 'heavy (for me is not a problem and are not exactly Hercules: P) - Vignetting and distortion at 24mm (can be removed with 2 clicks in 10 seconds and in any case I do not mind the vignetting) - For those who use filters, mounting 82mm from those, we have to consider the expense.

Opinion: EXCELLENT! There was just a good feeling. compared to 28-135 canon another planet (and God forbid!). solid construction, I enjoyed the key lock so you do not run into unexpected elongation of the lens (which happened to me on the canon). fast autofocus, stabilizer that triggers a 1/20s without thinking much the problem. a little 'pesantino but if I want to travel ultra light use other (Fujica film or mirrorless Panasonic). thought to suffer from the lack of millimeters in length (from 70 to 135 there is a difference) and yet nothing, but the 4mm less (24 against 28) I do not even think we have done. on balance (a blow to my wallet) are STRA SATISFIED purchase!

Pros: Sharpness at room temperature, stabilizer, motor USD very high performance, cost

Cons: Filters 82mm, 24mm made corners, vignetting TA

Opinion: High-performance optics, a 24mm surrender the corners improves only after F11, 35mm on the performance improves significantly. A 70mm is really good with a good focus. The engine is very powerful Tamron USD rivaling that of the Canon, the stabilizer is really great! Easily allows you to take a 1/4sec ??to 70mm. A really good lens with a quality / price ratio really great!

Pros: Excellent sharpness, good construction (nothing to do with the previous Tamron), large stabilization (noiseless), beautiful colors.

Cons: Vignetting TA hood a little 'light.

Opinion: Optical use on FF (posssiedo a 550D and a 5D mkII). On aps-c in my opinion are not interesting focal lens and the yield is less powerful. I can only compare this to the Canon Tamron 24-105 (which I own and I use to report). I think the quality is the same. The distortion at 24mm but there is less than that of Canon. Clearly the separation image of the Tamron is higher (a 2.8) but the focus is similar, so not great but good. Overall a great lens for portraits and street that boasts such remarkable plus a stabilization of both performance and low-noise operation.
