Pros: Focus excursion, price, focus speed, at least on the Canon EOS 40D and 7D.

Cons: No one considering he's a handyman.

Opinion: He advised me as an all-rounder a gentleman who took pictures of the wildlife oase; I bought it, I did great. I used it for eleven years, on a Canon EOS 40D and then on a 7D, I absolutely have to talk about it well. In the long run, after so many years, he pumped a little impurities - minimal - that were not noticed or absolutely affected in the photos. In good light conditions, you could be pulled up to the maximum excursion without any problems. The lampshade has the petals of size and arranged in an unusual way, however in the countless photos taken on the Riviera in the summer and here and there has always carried out its task very well. The colors are not as bright as those of the Canon goals but they are always valid. A lens all-rounder that find him in good condition I can definitely recommend.

Pros: Great zoom range, low price, sharpness 18-200, few chromatic aberrations

Cons: AF slow and noisy (but it is a jack of all trades, therefore, to be expected), spherical aberration at 18mm. Hood problematic.

Opinion: I bought this lens for Pentax. It's a great all-rounder quality. It has good performance from 18-200, except for some spherical aberration at 18 mm, certainly far superior to the handyman 18-200 Sigma / Tamron. He has no particular chromatic aberrations. Unfortunately, compared to his twin Pentax 18-250 has a color rendering index lower due to the absence of SMC treatment on the lenses. Price performance is still a great lens from tourism. It also has the ability to close-up photography.

Pros: price, zoom range, sharpness, accurate AF

Cons: sharpness compared with the fixed or professional goals, AF slow and noisy (but accurate)

Opinion: I had this' objective for Canon and I was pleasantly satisfied, the sharpness is always very good, decays only slightly to 250mm, the aberrations are well controlled and distortion in the media, in short, can not recommend it, too bad that you find it hard to face used at a good price, I'd recommend not to pay more than 180/200 € ...
