Pros: Lightness, excellent autofocus, jpg files, movies without time limits (as long as there is space on the memory card).

Cons: Battery life, raw files.

Opinion: I bought it (with a 16-50 kit lens) as a second body for when I want to go around light and to make videos; I must say that it is a great product, I was surprised by the autofocus for its accuracy and speed and the jpg files that it pulls out, minus the raw ones (but having a nikon d610 the comparison does not keep it). However it is product that I recommend. To take a second battery at least (as I did) because the autonomy is not the best, but otherwise I found myself well, even the electronic viewfinder is very good.

Pros: Portability, file workability.

Cons: I don't know; what I did not like about this machine, could instead be good for others and vice versa.

Opinion: Nothing to do, I tried to please myself but I couldn't. My inprinting as an aspiring amateur street photographer (such I still am) I had in Fuji (T1- T20, T2), then I tried with Pentax (KP, a digital beast with the shape and weight of a tank), then returned from Fuji (T30) and finally I succumbed to the infatuation for this Sony due to the reviews. I thought I could find myself well, surely it is a good ML because I took quality photos even if I tried only one lens and certainly not the best; but I don't like it. In the eight months that I had it, nothing "clicked" so much that, as anticipated, I used it only with the 18-135 because I did not intend to spend money to complete the optical park. Sold yesterday, shipped to the buyer this morning, I will return to Fuji with the X-S10. I could assign it 7 as 10, but I would not be objective in both cases, my judgment has nothing objective. Let's do 9.

Pros: Autofocus, tipper screen, lightweight and ergonomic for camera type.

Cons: Discrete image quality, APSC lens availability, rings, full light display readability, expensive Sony ecosystem.

Opinion: I recently joined my D7200 this A6400. I have chosen it on the issue of encumbering and af. And on these two points we are (almost). The machine, although the AF is very fast and precise, sometimes misses the right focus distance (like the nose rather than the eye to understand each other). However, I am talking about subjects that are moving quickly and not posing. There are few shots with a "near focus", but given the advertising and reviews I expected a few fewer mistakes. The image quality is good, but not at the level of the D7200 both in terms of ISO sealing and detail that the sensor manages to capture. I did some home tests with the same lens and Nikon's results seem sharper and more detailed to me. Even at iso base (i.e. on 100-200), I already see the grain (ugly), especially if the distance of the subject is not in the foreground. For high sensitivities, if with nikon I believe that the upper limit of ISO usable is 6400, on Sony we are at 3200 (for my taste). On this point, I had better expectations, I'm honest. By the way, I think my GR2 is also better, perhaps also thanks to its amazing optics. The availability of lenses for APSC is low in terms of both quantity and quality. As fixed, the best are the Sigma (and viltrox if the AF can make it usable). Of these I took the 30 and the 56mm. Especially the latter has a very nice yield. For zooms, there's very little choice here. The 16-50 kit is best for having it for something small that makes the machine almost a compact one (its main flaw in my opinion is a poor microcontrast). There's 18-135, which they say is great, but it's still a dark lens. And then the very expensive 16-55 f2.8 to which I would prefer the tamron 17-70 f2.8 stabilized for the greater versatility of focal lengths and because it makes up for the lack of IBIS (I will buy it in the summer). Today at rush hour, I realized that the display is unreadable and you have to use the viewfinder. I took off my vent. But if I were to advise someone to switch from Reflex to ML, I would recommend kicking out the monkey.

Pros: Compactness, image quality, AF, ISO, optics, menu (!), price

Cons: Battery life, lack of stabilization, smartphone app

Opinion: Despite being a machine highly appreciated by vloggers, I bought it mainly for photography... and I don't regret it! Very compact and light, it gives birth to images of excellent quality up to 3200 ISO, all with a truly performing autofocus. The Sony E attachment allows you to choose a wide range of lenses, so you can satisfy an audience with different needs (and budgets). The menu, rightly included by many among the defects, it must be said that in this machine model it is customizable, so that you can always have the most frequently used options/settings in hand. Battery life must undoubtedly be included among the cons, but if you buy a camera like this you know what you're up against.. The lack of stabilization can also be annoying (especially in a machine designed for video!), but with Sony APS-C lenses (all stabilized) the problem is solved. The real sore point of Sony devices is the smartphone control app. In addition to my negative experience, even reading online and talking to friends, it seems obvious that there are big compatibility issues between a lot of phone models and the aforementioned app. This problem is quite unacceptable in view of the figures at stake. I hope Sony will remedy this as soon as possible. All in all, however, the merits of this camera far outweigh the flaws, so I highly recommend it.

Pros: Autofocus, white balance, better file quality than Canon sensors, improved jpgs, high isos comparable almost to some ff, video.

Cons: Small efv although with great vision, batteries.

Opinion: Excellent good quality video and photo machine to use on the web, with a BG and a smarling for the lateral positioning of the microphone, the tiltable screen is useful and usable, machine that does not make you want the switch to ff, when combined with very bright optics such as sigma. Excellent for both vlogging and self-portraits, I gladly sold my Sony A7 and A7s for new apsc sigma kit and this body, I press that I had a derisory kit consisting of a manual optics and a 50 art with the two bodies mentioned above, so I did not feel the weight, only advantages with the new af of the a6400 derived from the A9

Pros: - very precise focus, af single? Car? AFC always!!! - 4k video with superb quality - iso held isially better than the m50 I had before - optics for my taste (but here it's subjective quite the thing)

Cons: - alas, love and hate because of the evf (I got used to using the live view now, but the evf seems worse than the m50 definitely) - sony menu? For those who come from canon... Happen.... but luckily the tutorials exist :) - touch screen only x focus (for those who come from canon.... recapit...) - embodied jpeg (I still have to customize it better, but for those who come from canon recap again :( ) - lack of processing of raw in the room

Opinion: - the 4k has no rivals to date on the market (quality comparable to a 6k as a definition, from which I get frames from 8mpx unimaginable) - you can always use it in AFC, does not miss a beat and as soon as it finds an eye or face does not lose it anymore. The best iso seal I do not know if it is thanks to a sony algorithm or the sensor itself, but up to 1600 iso (I speak of jpeg ) finally the details remain almost unchanged, the grain is there so I do not speak of noise absent, indeed maybe you notice a hair more than the canon, but canon swept away the details even with NR to a minimum, tarnished them let's say , but here the details remain sharp. The biggest flaw x who uses jpeg? The lack of raw processing in the room as canon Nikon and fuji.

Pros: Enviable detail, iso rendering, autofocus that doesn't miss a beat, 4k really good

Cons: Digital viewfinder too small?! Sony menu to study... coming from canon and panasonic is a real trauma... (but then the image rendering makes you remember xke you took it :) )

Opinion: the a6400 is among the best ML that you can take this is little but safe , I sell it only because I wear glasses and the small evf does not make my life very easy. The image yield is much better at the m50. the 4k is spatial and also the autofocus that reads the eye farther than the other brands and NEVER loses it. The menu is the sore spot, but only because I came from canon :) But you get used to quiet. the iso yield is remarkable, not that there is no noise, but the detail in the jpeg is not blown away, the grain is seen but even at 3200 iso the details are read very well.

Pros: Compact and lightweight, Autofocus (a sniper) very useful and precise touch screen, 4000 ISO without problems indoors, din range, orientable monitor, battery life

Cons: Absurd REC button, menu (Sony .... but with practice you get used to it, presets help a lot). Autofocus at night (targets do not have the end of running in the MF dial, so through lens impossible to find infinity. You must use the electronic settings in the machine

Opinion: I needed a light backpack inge ( to leave the heavy/bulky Nikon 750/800 kit at home). First shots with the "saponetta" 16/50 very good, definitely higher than expected. Then I matched the 16-35 f./4 Zeiss .... open heaven (see my gallery), pure spectacle. I decided to leave Nikon and pass everything to Sony (now cnche with A7RIII). Autofocus a sniper (has many very useful functions), very high-performance display meter (rarely misses the lights), dynamic range decidedly extended (I would say better than the D750). The "raw" file is excellent, absolutely well processed in LR/PS; with extreme ease and a few "touches" you already extract a great beautiful photo (I think it is of great help the dynamic range in treating blacks and lights) with amazing colors, perfect contrast and great detail (pure being a 24 MP). Great ergonomics (I have small hands) but I shoot with one hand and it could never get out of hand (not even with rain or snow). If you match us FF lens ... you will enter a "paradise" (eye that is APS-C, then 1.5x). I don't make movies, but I tried ... that rec button is impossible, you have to leave the handle for on/off film (obviously with the move, because you have to detach your hand). You can match on/off movies on shutter button, but so you lose the ability to calibrate the autofocus while shooting. VR: it doesn't have it on the sensor, but with used optics equipped with VR (quoted) I've never had micromove problems. ISO: excellent high iso yield, higher than D750 FF, at 4500 ISO in closed environment I made great shots (obviously then adjusted in PP), but in the exterior 4000 ISO are still 100% excellent even without PP. BATTERY: never used the spare battery using only monitor (and shot quite a lot in a day), only neo has no charger (then bought separately) for which the battery is charged by connecting the machine to microUSB/USB. TROPICALIZZAZ: I fell twice in the fresh snow .... no problem (apart from having to dig for .... find the machine ...). Only PROBLEM are the night/star photos in total darkness, the lenses do not have the end of the run in the MF dial, so through lens impossible to find infinity. You must use the electronic settings in the machine. The infinity Manual does not correspond to the real infinity, the monitor light intensifier serves little (in total darkness, I repeat), the red emphasis of the areas in focus in the dark does not work .... (I have to figure out if there are alternatives, if anyone knows, suggest me). GREAT PRODUCT, I really recommend it

Pros: Excellent files, weight and size proof of handbag, a sniper, THE MAF TOUCH A LIBIDINE, focuses in a nanosecond

Cons: OTTICHE, perhaps too miniaturized for those who have the hands, I have already said OTTICHE?

Opinion: A jewel. Really pleased to have tried it and to be pleasantly satisfied despite the premises charged her with performance anxiety. The AF must be learned well, it has too many settings to be able to set it in the immediate, but it deserves: I dare say revolutionary in this price range. He takes the subject, loads and snaps like a gun. Still staying in the AF field, I definitely ADORATO the maf touch system: the photos of landscapes on the tripod are taken with extremely reduced latency, thus being able to capture very rapid variations of light if you do bracketing and stacking. The small body sums up joys and pains: on the one hand the weight and the concrete possibility of putting it in the handbag or pocket of the jacket (with its 16-50) and always having it with it, on the other the necessary miniaturization of the controls and the need to navigate between the various menu to set anything (particularly disliked the bracketing setting with 2second snap delay: you have to look for it in different sections without a logical sense). The real flaw of the system is absolutely the lack of lenses that do justice to this jewel: the 10-18 does not perform properly, always returns images a little soft and without microcontrast, the 16-50 does what it can (you do not buy for quality but for other features), the 55-210 does not allow you to take advantage of the beautiful AF despite being native.... In short, it deserves more attention, especially to make this beautiful machine excel. The files are very beautiful, I was satisfied both as a dynamic range and as a high iso yield: remember that it is NOT A FF, I initially forgot this and I took it with the FF mentality and literally stole a photo output of 3 days. Not bad because I don't work on it, but I lost good files. Ultimately, I recommend it if you are aware of the limits of the system in its entirety. The most direct rival (xt3) has a really good (albeit really expensive) and complete set, which should not be underestimated. Changed just to get back on FF.

Pros: STRUCTURE, SUPER AF, COMPACTNESS, RATIO/QUALITY PRICE, 4K

Cons: LACK OF STABILIZER ON SENSOR

Opinion: I STATE THAT I AM A SIMPLE ENTHUSIAST, NOT A PROFESSIONAL AND A LOVER OF TECHNOLOGY IN GENERAL! I COME FROM CANON SLR, THEN FROM AN OLYMPUS 4/3, NOW SWITCHING TO THE SONY APS-C WORLD.. I WANTED a WHOLE MACHINE TO DO Quality and NOT TOO HEAVY and FOR NOW THIS MIRRORLESS DID NOT DISAPPOINT ME... SOME LENS TO WHICH POINT SLIGHTLY ABOVE THE AVERAGE PRICE, BUT WANTING THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES. TOO BAD FOR THE LACK OF STABILIZATION ON THE SENSOR, BUT AFTER ALL IF FOR ONE IS FUNDAMENTAL YOU CAN FIND IN THE OBJECTIVES OR WITH THE USE OF TREPIEDE... NOT EVEN THE BUTTON "REC" (IN THE SAME POINT OF THE 6300/6500) I FIND IT UNCOMFORTABLE INDEED.. If you want small, but does his, never pushed accidentally, also because in the MENU (which is fully customizable) you can decide to make it only active in VIDEO mode and not randomly! THE FOLDING and TILTING SCREEN COULD HAVE a ROTATING "DIFFERENT ARM", BUT I HAVE to SAY THAT CMQ THE STRUCTURE OF the MACHINE IN HAND, gives you AN IDEA OF ROBUSTNESS, NOTHING PLASTICOSO, SO i LIKE It So.. I RECOMMEND
