Pros: everything that has been written ...

Cons: size, weight ...

Opinion: taken with a good AZ offer, I had some doubts that disappeared quickly after a few tests, it is sold with hood and is of great workmanship. I use the ef-M version on M6II, I already own the Sigma 56mm and this is not inferior to the contrary ... Great sharpness over the whole frame. It is equivalent to a 25mm, Distortion almost absent, do not use it only for landscapes, it allows almost total use.

Pros: sharpness

Cons: cumbersome

Opinion: The best lens for landscape on apsc, a nice combination to start on apsc with a6000, the result is always a nice sharp photo and typical colors of sigma, on the negative side the fact that it is not stabilized but at this length it is not necessary, it is a bit bulky and the fact that it is a fixed so pushed limits it to certain areas, although I used it in the portrait and it never disappointed me...... works well at apertures a little closed compared to the 30 so do not make the mistake of using it as an excessively bright lens, better the 30 or 56

Pros: Sharpness, brightness, AF, colors

Cons: Personally I can't find any

Opinion: I have been using this lens (with Sony aps-c) for a few months; has replaced (after more than 3 years of use) the Sony 10-18 f/4 zoom: when shooting, I don't like having to choose between too many alternatives. I immediately appreciated the characteristics of the Sigma: it is a blade already at f / 2.2 and at TA it has a sharpness that is still more than good! I find the colors very beautiful - one of the features that I did not appreciate in the small and yet very practical Sony zoom - and, in terms of brightness, well ... the distance is sidereal (despite being the sony f / 4 constant and, therefore, not bad): today I would find it impossible to go back. With the focal length I find myself very well because - although not a wide angle pushed - it is suitable for multiple uses (landscape, street, reportage). I read some unsupceive considerations about size and weight that I do not agree with: I shoot for fun and carrying 100 g more in my backpack does not weigh me down - if the optical yield of the lens is excellent, as in the case of the Sigma. The lens is very accurate in the assembly and solid in the structure. Accuracy and speed of the AF are excellent and seem to me those of a native lens. In my opinion a must-have on aps-c Sony. I vote 10 because I can't give him more.

Pros: Sharpness , af , bokeh , brightness .

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Very artistic lens I think the best of its series, it is equivalent to a 24 mm f 1.8 that if well used on latest generation APSC sensors gives an image quality very close to the Ff with equivalent focal on 35 mm sensor, in nikon house this solution costs a waste and the image quality just look at how many optical groups and elements have the lenses and for the treatment of competing lenses to understand their quality and overall resolve. I think this lens is more than a solver for a 24mpx sensor, which the home G series nikon I think is analogous but senseless on Big mpx sensors. My conclusion is: excellent for reportage, set portrait, urban, street, landscapes and astro.

Pros: Sharpness, brightness, autofocus

Cons: Size?

Opinion: I've been using this lens pretty much since I came out and I feel really good! Very nice and self-focused (I use it on a humble A6000). Used during several hikes in the mountains and never gave trouble. It's not stabilized, but I've never missed it. Maybe a little big but nothing dramatic. In relation to the price I can only recommend it.

Pros: Fast Autofocus, sharpness, brightness, price/yield.

Cons: Lack of stabilization, bulky dimensions.

Opinion: It's very close to perfection. Incredibly sharp lens, a blade! Very bright with a really fast autofocus. The only flaw in the lack of stabilization. Perfect focal point for videos with high performance, for even better photos, always accurate with beautiful images.

Pros: Sharpness, blurred and good AF

Cons: Flares flare flare at throttle and distortion

Opinion: Purchased for my a6300 (second body travel), I must admit not to be fully satisfied. In any case the merits are many, and for the price it has is a great deal! The sharpness is really good, even clicking TA is a blade. You also have fun with some portraino because the blurred that returns is very pleasant. Though... I must say that in night cityscape is unusable because of the flare that jump out in abundance. Obviously missing the various treatments on the lenses.. And for the price of the lens there may even be that there are. In any case for me, that I use on the road and often even at night, the flare is a nice problem. Finally, the wide angle distortion I find really strong, compared to other similar lenses.

Pros: Bright, extremely sharp, exceptional construction, very solid, precise and nice focus bezel, fast autofocus, beautiful, price

Cons: A bit coarse and heavy, it is not stabilized (partly offset by the fact that on the wide serves less than that it is so bright, however useless on stabilized bodies)

Opinion: Photographer mainly landscapes and in my opinion is an exceptional lens, in my tours practically use almost only this. I agree that it is a (if not the) lens at the TOP regarding the APS-C family Mount-E. I do not hide my love for this lens! The level of sharpness produced is impressive and has nothing to envy to the family Art from this point of view, ditto when compared to other lenses even Sony home. The brightness is incredible: I note the huge difference with other competitors especially in the evening and the night (eg: Country holidays, starry sky); I think it's also great for vlogs or internal photos/videos for the same reasons (not my scope of use). It is so bright to require the use of the ND filter for "lens" photos made during the day (eg: silky effect of water), where with other lenses I could do it by closing everything. In hand It is solid, pleasing materials to the touch, excellent plastics. The focus ring is also pleasant to the touch, soft in rotation, precise enough (better for example of the 30mm version of this same lens, where the ring nut moves a little too easily).

Pros: Exceptional sharpness, very bright, excellent construction, AF Veloccissimo

Cons: A little heavy

Opinion: Simply the best lens for Sony side APSC system. This lens is superlative in everything. Extremely sharp, bright and without any kind of problem (if nothing else not correctable in an immediate way in post-prod). Excellent performance even at full open, at F7/F8 The sharpness is an impressive thing. It is only slightly imgombante and a bit heavy, but otherwise there are no cons to hold. Recommended to all-even in non-stabilized body (click on the 1/24 is really tough with this lens)

Pros: Sharpness, autofocus

Cons: Heavy and large

Opinion: I got this lens for my last trip to Lisbon. I promised myself to only use this lens for both photos and videos [do candid things]. Well even framing changes between the autofocus was a breeze. Not being leveled off but having a a6500 haven't had major problems. Side photo is really very nice and sharp, is pretty hefty. I also have 10 18 f4 and Zeiss 16 70 and this lens is bigger and heavier than each of the two lenses. Between the camera body and lens you get around 750-800 grams. Paid €380 I can only advise I attach link to the first part of our tour in Lisbon, unfortunately YouTube reduces enough yield. I repeat, we are talking about amateur videos https://youtu.be/Uteu1M-N2cc

Pros: Sharp, AF fast, perfect, very bright, price, to have in the kit.

Cons: Nothing. Maybe slightly heavy but nothing to it.

Opinion: It must not be missing absolutely in the kit. The sharpness is impressive, in any aperture. Practically it is impossible to add sharpness in post as it is extremely sharp already the photo. Also perfect for taking in the evenings and indoors. It has a beautiful bokeh. It is my lens that I use most of all, joined to 18-135 that now rarely use except in the tele side and some portraits. Recommended!

Pros: Nitidissimo even at TA, Af fast, beautiful colors

Cons: It is not stabilized otherwise it would be perfect for videos

Opinion: Taken essentially for video in poorly lit environments, it turned out to be superlative for the photos. I had hoped that at Sony they would let out a bright and stabilized lens but at the end Sigma tried and succeeded. I am still studying it because I did little testing but I can say that Sigma has produced a slow Lady. Soon I will post some demonstrative photos in the gallery on the occasion of a living nativity scene

Pros: All. Very bright, clear, precise and fast af even if not ultrasonic

Cons: Probably the stabilization but with the 16 mm you can certainly do even less (Problem that is solved with Sony stabilized sensors)

Opinion: Fantastic lens as well as for photographing is crazy even for use in the video field. I tested this lens recently in NY and it gave me a lot of satisfaction. In the photo field the 1.4 helps a lot in the evening and why not even at night for extreme shots. Switching from the 16 35 sony from the kit to this was a super rise in brightness. Very clear. Ultimately good focal length lens and also very good price. Of course then there is the 18-35mm sigma f 1.8 for the most spendthrift but for sure this lens will not disappoint. EXCELLENT WORK SIGMA !!!!!!!!

Pros: Perfect compatibility with Sony E-mount.

Cons: For now nothing

Opinion: I got this goal for Christmas, I often work as a photographer of events and this 16 mm so bright would have been a perfect ally for this type of photography. And so it was. Fun, clear, autofocus that responds well, considering that I shoot almost in the dark, in a room with black walls and flash Sony that mirrorless does not have the Focus Assistant IR.rnI wanted to give confidence to Sigma because I hope that soon start to produce more targets for E-mount. rnBought with Amazon Prime, 450 euros well invested.rnSome shots are visible in my gallery "Event Photography"
