Pros: Compact Camera-Stabilized Sensor-Good Jpeg-Good Video-Fn Buttons-Great Menu-Lots of Functions

Cons: Rear Ring-Viewfinder-Power Button-

Opinion: I have been using it for 2 years and I must say that I enjoyed it very much. The M4/3 system is very versatile and guarantees good (excellent) image quality. It's true, up to 1600 ISO no problem, then the quality degenerates a bit, but between the stabilization the bright lenses and the greater depth of field compared to the larger sensors, it is not always necessary to get to 10000 iso The strong point is the compactness. The display is excellent, the price is excellent, the quality of both videos and photos is excellent. Videos lack headphone and mic inputs. The rear bezel is awkward and has never worked very well. The front one is valid. After 2 years, the built-in flash burned out. The viewfinder is small and I don't risolutissimo.in like the position all the way to the left anymore. Super stabilization, second only to Olympus. Do I still recommend it today? Absolutely, yes

Pros: Compact, very good construction, great layout and good ergonomics despite the compactness, stabilized sensor, fast (not -issimo) and accurate contrast AF

Cons: battery life, otherwise it is a compact body with an M4/3 sensor: if you accept the consequences of these two features, for me it has no relevant defects.

Opinion: Extremely compact body but excellently made and assembled: heavy, no creaking, many controls and all in the right place, with several customizable buttons, both physical and on screen. Screen that is very smooth, quite defined and bright even under the sun. It's flip-up, for me a great advantage compared to articulated screens: the construction is more robust and allows you to shoot in a cockpit, fantastic - inconvenient for selfies and movies, but it's not my field of use. The viewfinder, small but not too much, is particularly criticized, but considering that it is a body intended for a relatively "quiet" use (the contrast AF is performing, but not suitable for fast-moving subjects, and there is a fairly evident shutter lag) for me it is fine, I can use it without problems despite the glasses. The stabilization of the sensor is excellent, even with 45mm I can use incredibly long shutter speeds. For the rest... it's a very compact body, so it lacks a deep grip and I find that its ideal use is with the extraordinary compact fixed dedicated to the M4/3, with long and heavy lenses it would probably be uncomfortable. For me passed with flying colors, found on the second-hand for 250€ in the shop and using it was love at first sight... Compared to larger formats, the sensor has strengths and weaknesses, but bodies like this are great for maximizing the former. Recommended.

Pros: Compact.Excellent construction. Fast and accurate Af except in extreme situations. Display with touch pad af very useful. Great videos. No more selection of micro 4/3 lenses

Cons: Headphone and microphone output not present for videos. Electronic viewfinder only discreet.

Opinion: I carried it in my belt bag on several excursions with a pair of lenses supplied. (I recommend a 15 PanaLeica or a 17 Olympus + 45 Olympus) and it gave me a lot of satisfaction. Clearly in situations of limit light better to put even brighter optics such as the 1.4 of Sigma to make up for the small sensor that still behaves well up to 1600/2000 ISO. NOT EXCITING JPEGs. I recommend shooting in RAW. In all cases a gem with an excellent price / performance ratio (it is also found at € 300) that if you know how to use and if you have no pretensions gives many satisfactions.

Pros: Small, compact, stabilized, very easy to use, great files, viewfinder, cheap

Cons: It is not tropicalized, a characteristic that I sometimes need but it is not serious

Opinion: Tiny camera of 2016 still very current. Combined with Panasonic or Olympus tiny lenses (eg 20 mm 1.7, 45 mm 1.8, zooms 14-32 and 35-100 ) it is little larger than a compact but with very different performance. It holds well up to 1600 iso, the menu is easy to use, The batteries do not last very long but with little expense you can take many compatible. Now that I have equipped myself with other less compact cameras (G80 and Olympus OM-D) I use it often, as well as with the lenses mentioned, with particular lenses such as the LAOWA 4 mm f2.8, the pinhole and the Olympus 8 mm cap is always when I want to be light. 6 years after arriving on the market it is still very advisable.

Pros: Robust, function keys, ease of use, monitor

Cons: Viewfinder, battery

Opinion: Small tank, although not tropicalized, it resists well to sand and small splashes of water. Manageability is its greatest value: with the thumb and index finger of the right hand you can do everything, even with one hand (for those who have a child in their arms as has happened to me several times, you can turn on and make a "point and shoot" on the fly in a second). Taken by a photographer who "did not find crunchiness in the files" using the 12-32 pancakes, mounted the 12-45 or the 12-60PL the crunchiness comes out of it. Like all small m43, the best gives it with the fixed, both the 1.4 (Sigma, PL or Zuiko) and the 1.7 (15 or 25mm). It is definitely a travel camera and focused above all on photography, even if the video side makes excellent 4k slightly cropped (had they put 150 or 180fps it would have been exaggerated but would have made other Lumix cameras useless) given the great stabilization. Negative sides certainly are the viewfinder (too small and on which you can not mount an additional eyepiece as on gx9, which for those who wear glasses helps a lot) and the battery with which you make just over 200 shots (does not keep the day, so get at least 1 or 2 more batteries). Machine still valid and contemporary in 2022 despite being released 6 years ago: the 16mpx are enough for the vast majority of people. It recharges in the room and this is something that today can only be positive since even a single power bank is enough and in an hour the car is charged. Flash not powerful but very useful in case of need especially indoors, and particularity can be oriented upwards with a finger. If set properly, it also produces excellent jpg ready to be published or printed. Sold to test the Olympus m10 mkii. Regretting the choice. Still recommended today.
