Pros: all you need and more

Cons: limits of the small sensor in 1% of the fotos

Opinion: I use Nikon ff, Olympus and Hasselblad cameras. The Hasselblad files are miles better then the other, and ideal if you do fotos of 1m x 1m and more, I recently did a Fotobook with pictures of my grand son , I just choose the best from last year and reviewing the book (A3) , I can not tell which one is made with what camera. At this size there is no difference. when I show the book to other people, they practically all find 2 fotos better then others, one done with Nikon ff and a Jupiter 44-1 58mm found on eBay for a few € and the other with a Hasselblad XD 80mm. For the rest, the Olympus does a fantastic job. The first difference in landscape photography is what you are ready to carry around, you can take the Olympus with a 12-40mm, put the extraordinary 8mm in your pocket left and the wonderful 75 mm in the other and you go practically for every situation without needing to find a specialist for reeducation of your back after the trip. Of course, their are limits, described in other posts here , limits in comparing the output by sensor size, but 1. you can compensate a lot of these with software and 2. do you really need that for 99% of your images? It makes me think of a lecture I once heard in business school: "when is enough enough?" . I practically do not use anymore the Nikon Z, which is certainly a very nice camera, I take the Hasselblad for critical landscape work and for the rest I enjoy my Olympus, newly with the outstanding 15-400mm.

Pros: Top of the range, reliability. Tropical. Batteries that last a lot. Excellent ergonomics. Good grip grip. Weight. Materials, build quality. Stabilization.

Cons: Menu button on the opposite side. I would have preferred the ignition and the menu button all on the right so as to do everything with one hand. But it is my opinion, for many it will not be a problem.

Opinion: Fantastic machine. It's a pro. You can work on it, as an amateur photo it is you can say definitive, you can do anything with it. It was x me a switch from the m10 II. You can hear so much difference, ad-c tracking and stachink livend etc etc. So much stuff. Still in 2025 I would recommend it to everyone. Fantastic high res from a tripod. Even freehand. But Panasonic gives fewer artifacts on moving things. From photo amateur, or traveler if you put them on a 12 100 You forget it. If you put on a 17 1.8 or a 20 1.7, despite the grip it still fits in the pocket of the jacket. It's not like the 5 or 10 series in terms of compactness, but for being a flagship you can't ask for more. Promoted

Pros: Versatility, quality, ready for anything

Cons: Display and viewfinder, although very good, have outdated resolutions. Very good autofocus, but very far from OM1 and other competitors apsc and FF

Pros: Speed, ergonomics, lightness

Cons: menu that could possibly be improved

Opinion: Taken a short time ago I have to say that it is a fantastic camera. I'm coming from Nikon D4 and the weight difference can be felt. This Olympus is lightweight, fits beautifully in the hand and has superb speed and image quality. Fantastic stabilization system and new shutter at 400,000 shots. The menu can be improved but the quick menu is perfect. I use it with the 12-40 with which it goes very well.

Pros: compact, but ergonomic, an infinite number of possible adjustments, excellent quality of jpegs in the car, tropicalized, light, but not "plasticky" (on the contrary, it gives an excellent feeling of solidity), fantastic stabilization, dual SD slots, USB-C charging

Cons: Menus a bit cumbersome and not very intuitive, but, if you find it, there is everything you need

Opinion: Purchased two years ago with the unmissable offer "E-M1 III + 17mm f/1.2 pro for €1,600" (practically at the list price of the camera body alone you also took home one of the best PRO lenses in the Olympus/OM-System list!). The leap from the E-M1 I was remarkable: at the price of slightly larger dimensions (but which perhaps even improved the ergonomics, at least for me who have quite large hands), the two cars definitely do two different sports. I'm not saying that you can't take great photos even with the "old lady" (I made prints of 1m on the side and they are perfect even looking at them from 10cm away: so much for 16Mpx!), but I can say without fear of contradiction that in terms of quality and operating speed, the E-M1 III asphalts the old lady mercilessly. I switched to the m4/3 from FF Canon (which I still have, but honestly I don't use anymore, the portability of the Olympus system is too convenient), but I have to say that I don't regret anything. Over the years I have built a very complete kit (from the 8mm f/1.8 pro to the 300mm f/1.4 pro) and all the lenses go great with this camera body. It allows a lot of customizations, the quality of the files, at least for my uses, is excellent, the ISO tightness certainly not at the level of the top FF, but I shot safely at 3200 ISO without even having to apply PP denoise (look for photos of geckos in my galleries), the AF is very good, including face recognition. Maybe the tracking is a bit lacking (even if I've never adjusted it very well, for the genres I do, I don't use it much). All in all, a very good and professional machine, with an excellent quality/price ratio. Rated 9.5!
