Pros: Quality, compactness, transportability.

Cons: Plastic ignition lever. Nothing else.

Opinion: Already a holder of an Olympus kit for about 35-40 years (OM1, OM2, various optics including the 21mm F/2, the small XA) I bought for about a month the M5 mark III combined with a 12-45 F4 PRO. The line is beautiful, it is very reminiscent of my OM1 and 2. A little too much plastic for my taste (the ignition lever is a lot out of the metal controls), more could be done on a machine body that costs more than 1000 euros. But the photos are of remarkable quality. After a first release I had the opportunity to view them on a 75" 4K TV monitor: beautiful for colors, contrast, resolution, sharpness. Obviously how you go up with ISOs the noise is noticed, but up to 6400 does not bother much and the details are very well seen. Then, going up again you notice. However, nothing to do with the photos taken with the previous Sony Alpha 100 (Sony's first SLR) purchased, if I remember correctly in 2006, with the noise already evident at 200 ISO. I notice no difference with other machines with APS-C sensors from my friends. Certainly with the FF it loses something, but what is the point of carrying expensive equipment that weighs several kilos to have a little less noise at high ISOs? Then stabilization. For someone like me who uses flash only in macros and who to avoid moving resorts to easel and monopid. It's something fantastic. In short, what more do you want to go around and take beautiful photos?

Pros: Light, responsive, tropicalized, excellent stabilizer, excellent lens park, lightweight and high quality Shot hi-res.

Cons: Battery life, high iso noise under certain conditions.

Opinion: Pulling frankly the sums after almost a year of use. It's so light that you always carry it around, which means you're shooting in the right place at the right time while the others haven't brought anything because of the weight of camera and optics. The optics are really quality and with ridiculous dimensions compared to the competition. The hi-res shot gives you a dynamic range and a detail greater than a full frame the moment you learn to use it properly, I also found a way to bypass the hardware limit of f8 1/50th of a second that is activated in certain situations. It remains clear that this type of function, at least on this machine body is usable only with easel, but it is already more than enough, at least for me!! The stabilizer allows you to use any kind of optics, even with adapter, at times unthinkable for any other brand! The continuous autofocus of the OM5 MIII is at the Nikon D7500 level, so very similar to the D500; I can say that I had the first one that shares the AF form with the second quoted. Just look at the photos of my dogs running very fast straight towards me taken with both the camera in review and with the D7500 I owned, to realize that the llivello is almost the same. It is a room that is very susceptible to customizations, I mean that by customizing it properly, you can achieve much more than the factory settings. Well-processed raw files and low-medium iso, which are quietly comparable to much larger sensors. The matter obviously changes if you have to take photos full of fine details to high iso, in this case, of course you can have a loss of quality of detail, however, given how effective the stabilizer is, it is quite rare to raise the isos, while it is much easier to shoot at iso 200 with 1/10 of a second and not have micromox. The battery doesn't last long, but just have a few spares and there are no problems, plus the charging in the room helps and not a little. I mean, you can do anything with this machine. From the landscape, to the macro, to the portrait to the birdlife. The truth, at least from my point of view is that it is so versatile and light that even on the go does not set you limits, a backpack very small, two-three optical pro and you have all the focal points covered with very high quality! I feel very good, now she is an inseparable companion.

Pros: Aesthetically appealing, lightweight, small size, excellent grip, tropicalized and IPX1 certified, excellent stabilizer with every lens, great AF-S and good AF-C, orientable screen, jpeg quality, raw workability, in-room battery charging, numerous special Olympus functions, high-resolution raw shot, hdr in raw, focus bracketing and focus stacking. Great video capabilities.

Cons: Battery life, no battery pack.

Opinion: Taken to replace the E-M10 II, the E-M5 III is an E-M10 II with steroids. The machine is a miniature EM1 II, same sensor, same AF, same Menu change only burst, thetring possibilities and battery. The 5.5 stop/6.5 stop IS stabilizer is a span over any other machine other than the EM1 III. The car is very ergonomic and comfortable to carry around and shoot. The viewfinder is of excellent quality, as is the screen. It holds the isos well up to 3200, with the proprietary software Olympus Workspace demosaicizing the file in a better way to get even to 6400 (however it tends to be slow, but it is not a problem of the machine). End-version .jpg files have low compression and are close to the quality of a raw file, which is rarely found on other machines. It's a great vlogging machine as well. It has great features such as Live Time, Live Bulb, Live Composite, various bracketing and Staking capabilities. In short, it's a best buy.

Pros: Beautiful aesthetically, light and small size, Hi-res, tropicalized, stabilized, excellent AFS and good AFC, practically it's an EM1 mk2 in small, vast slow park

Cons: Battery life, solid but plastic construction, single slot

Opinion: Taken to flank the sister EM1 mk2, it practically has almost everything similar. Same sensor, same AF, same menu' For me it is promoted with flying colors, excellent file quality and AF that allows you to do almost everything. The stabilizer is a span over the competition and allows unthinkable things, I with olympus I find myself wonderful as ergonomics and comadi arrangement, the viewfinder is good and it is seen well and it is natural and not tiring, the jpg are a strength and I use them often. In printing and monitors it does not make you regret a FullFrame if you treat the file well.

Pros: Construction Quality, Jpeg, Stabilized Sensor, Autofocus, Customization, Orientable Screen.

Cons: Menu a bit difficult at first.

Opinion: It was a difficult choice, thought out and rethought several times. I come from Nikon APS-C system and sincerely wanted to make the leap to FF but then browsing the internet and seeing numerous reviews on the m4/3 system I informed myself a little more deeply and what to say... Olympus is my first m4/3... Simply beautiful, bought in a closed box with Zuiko lens 12-40 2.8Pro (also a disarming quality target). A higher quality object that in my opinion has nothing to envy more popular brands indeed.... Weld even with big hand even if you have to get a little used, the dials and keys are all in the right place and all customizable at will. Lots of shooting modes, and spectacular videos. The Flash to be mounted if necessary is of a unique beauty. The machine churns out beautiful jpeg. holds the high iso, lightning autofocus etc etc. Finally, I say that the m4/3 system in my humble opinion has nothing to envy to "superior" systems. Very happy with my choice. I recommend it.

Pros: autofocus, burst, file quality, camera-produced jpeg, tilting screen.

Cons: initial feeling of little robustness.

Opinion: I bought this car without ever trying it, the physical store did not have it in the store and I had to buy it in a closed box. The feeling just had in hand was sincerely bad: accustomed to the old em5 (i and ii) the feeling with polycarbonate was initially bad. using it a couple of days I began to appreciate it more and more, noting that in fact the build quality of the machine was excellent... (You can see small things such as the noise it makes when you close the tipper screen, or the solidity of the door close. Moving on to use... The machine is excellent, the biggest upgrade is the phase-sensing autofocus... in the videos is a godsend. I come from a gh5 that I sold for precisely this reason (the unreliability' of the autofocus even after the famous update). I used gh5 always in manual, and as much as it is provided with all the possible and imaginable aids, an autofocus that works is something else... So in my video work I'm much faster thanks to autofocus. The best video quality is with the 4k cinematic format, the 4k format 4/3 have a much lower quality. The quality of the full hd is not at the level of gh5, but in 4k (film format) the quality is high. So for videos, although the videos are not 4/2/2 to 10 bits and blah blah blah, practically for my work I prefer it to gh5. The stabilization is a span above the gh5, on this it does not rain, as well as the photographic quality. The raw are much more workable than the first em5 and I am very satisfied with the quality of the same. Concluding... As soon as I had it in my hand I assure you that I wanted to resell it immediately because of the plastic sensation that gave me... after a week of use, I can say that it is the most complete four-thirds micro I have ever had (I had several Olympus and several Panasonics) and I am very satisfied with the machine... I recommend it? absolutely yes. It also had the double sd and the vlog would be the perfect machine.
