Pros: For what I do, everything.

Cons: At the moment nothing but the battery life that is really scarce.

Opinion: Taken two days ago used with 4000 shots (practically new) at a "favor" price at a physical store whose owner is an old friend of mine. I'm testing it these days and I must say that it reflects all my expectations. As a portrait photographer, landscape photographer and still life, I think it's the ideal camera. Pixels suitable for crop even extended, responsiveness to the step of what I do, performing autofocus, ergonomic and "light" camera body, intuitive menu and, last but not least, quality of the sensor that churns out really good files.

Pros: mirrorless, perfectly integrated with 60+ years of Nikon F kit

Cons: cost-reduction manufacturing, battery consumption under certain conditions, viewfinder delay, viewfinder yield at night, sensor exposed to dirt, one slot, price

Pros: Handy, build quality, sensor quality.

Cons: Battery lasts little, Af to improve and speed up.

Opinion: I also wanted to point out to the #nikon that these cameras are missing important information such as displaying the focusing distance on the display that it is important for professionals to keep this important technical information under control! I hope that this news will come to Nikon so they can improve the equipment!

Pros: Weight, quality and dynamism

Cons: only a single XQD slot, price and not very clear information to adapt AF to various situations. AF in pursuit not in step with competitors.

Opinion: In my humble opinion and in relation to how few shots, for now, I have taken, there are some aspects that can be improved. The instructions are a bit cumbersome, but I think with a little experience on the field it can be remedied. The optics That I have accompanied both this body and the other in my possession (Z6) are respectable and I did not find in them particular differences compared to the previous kit, D810 with various AF-S optics, indeed I would say that the latter (Z) in comparison are probably better.

Pros: Quality, dynamic range, weight

Cons: If I have to say one, the batteries could last a little longer

Opinion: Then after a year of use I feel I can give my modest opinion on this object. I came from the reflex world of Canon and decided to skip the barricade because I wanted to switch to a lower weight system for my trips to the Dolomites but that gave me more quality than I had before even though I had a very good kit in Canon. And also a bit because I have always been attracted to the nikon brand but this is not a valid motivation. I found what I was looking for, I wanted a few extra megapixels for my landscape photos that I know well that are not everything but the difference anyway in terms of detail do it, I wanted a lighter system and I found it (although the 70-200 is not really light but goes well), I found a better dynamic range, the very comfortable electronic viewfinder that I had always slapped but now I would not do it without because it offers different not recently. I wanted to raise the quality and this was done and the native optics offer a really high standard in quality, in terms of sharpness especially, in pretty much every part of the frame. I am not a professional but after years of hobby and reflex use I feel I can say that the mirrorless system is really level, especially this Z7. I speak for it because it's the only one I've tried. In truth I also tried an EOS rp but without native optics (but they are machines that are on different levels and investments). All this applies to landscape photography that I practice where I believe that this machine is really an excellence, I can not speak for other genres that I do not practice continuously. I really recommend it so much because it has only given me joys and I think it will offer me many more. If we really have to find something that could have gone better here the batteries could last just a little longer. But I can't say I'm dissatisfied, at most I'll have to have three with me instead of two. But otherwise it's really a gem.
