Pros: sharp, sharp, sharp, sharp, inexpensive, small, light, relatively well built,

Cons: boring, boring, boring, boring. A 50mm lens, the worst choice for any creative mind maybe.

Opinion: I think it was also one of best ever lenses I owned. It was so much better than that time Olympus Canon and Minolta lenses. Like another planet. The quality / price value was truly outstanding and the images were sharp. Bokeh was only so - so - not smooth and creamy at all (like say a Fuji 35 1.4 bokeh is). But aside from nervous bokeh (which some care and others never need) the lens was a fantastic tool. I would buy it again, maybe.

Pros: Diaphragmed Sharpness, excellent value for money, weight and build quality

Cons: MAF manual difficulty, sharpness and chromatic aberration at TA,

Opinion: Lens from excellent value for money. BUILD QUALITY (9) made in Japan, solid plastic, transmits a good build quality. Impossible to do better without going up with the weight. Metal screw hood to buy apart from MAF (8) Excellent consistency, good speed but not lightning, however suitable for 100% of my uses. Noisy for use in video. Small focus Ring and in my way to see not very easy to use IMAGE QUALITY (9) A TA é soft, with a sharp drop in contrast and marked chromatic aberration that in some scenes in backlight makes the lens almost unusable. It can be Used instead in many other situations already open, where the sharpness is not indispensable and the other faults may be managed. Already F/2 defects are very reduced, to be an excellent lens already f/2.8. From F/5.6 onwards it also becomes crisp all over the frame VALUE (10 +) For What it costs impossible to ask for better. And even the absolute impossible to find better if not spending 10-20 times as much. ALTOGETHER: Certainly not a lens free from defects (because there are?) but has a quality of image more than satisfactory for most photographers, being able to enter the pocket of a jacket at the cost of a plate for a tripod. Of course if you have requests for excellence on all fronts, think of always using it at full aperture in challenging light situations, or require AF lightning even in low light, tropicalization or other, then evaluate other goals because maybe it is not for you, but Costs and weights of another category. But for a generalist use it is a splendid lens that can be used for portraits as well as for landscape and travel photos with excellent results. RATED 9.5

Pros: Sharpness, price, lightness, blurry

Cons: Screw lampshade and dial soft focus sometimes chromatic aberrations

Opinion: Priced at less than 100 euros per used you have a very sharp lens from f5.6 and up , very nice blurred to open diaphragms, very light and constructively resistant. Small lightweight and very malleable in use. It is used around 80 100 euros and at that price I do not think you can find better. The only real flaw is that it is too soft at full opening. My specimen suffers a bit of front focus but on nikon d7100 you can solve it in the machine with fine adjustment.

Pros: Sharpness, price, AF

Cons: Nobody for the price is for general quality

Opinion: Bought used at 55 € to match it to the D70 but also as a Jolly lens in low light situations. I get 2 lenses f2.8 and f1.2 manual and this is what I missed in my equipment, an AF f1.8. Soft to TA that I really like, you should see the dreamy Bokeh of f1.2, this is almost dreamy, then used on D70 saves me to raise the ISO. It is perfect with the D70 to be used as the third body for weddings.

Pros: compared to the price performance

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Bought the model 50 1.8 AF (not D) used at 80 euro .... eccezionale.rnPer is simply the price you have a lens from the construction it is plasticky, but in the end it is well assembled, and has exceptional sharpness, being a 50mm, and then being a simple to build focal, and also inexpensive to make, it has a very much sharper lens after f4, very bright if necessary (even though soft to TA) and extremely versatile. You can do the portrait set (especially on APSC) to panorami.rnUna consigliatissima lens, because at a ridiculous price goes a very very good glass at home, which gives very sharp images if diaphragm just closed, pastellosi acceptable colors and bokeh. rnRapporto quality / price best I ever for any existing lens currently in the world
