Pros: Beautifully made camera, very easy to use, very logical set up. uses CF cards, easy to load, easy to release. fairly large screen for reviewing images; works best with top range lenses- Hunts a bit with the 400 APO High speed, but superb when you add APO 1.4 converter !

Cons: If you use a high capacity 10 series CF card, takes quite a long time to set up; after 3 shots, buffer slows down considerably; hunts quite a bit before AF locks onRather noisy when focussing.

Opinion: I still use my 7d for all my nature shots; I use it with a Sony 500AF Mirror lens, and the combination is superb. And you can hand hold it, the anti shake really works !I have a canon 5d 11, and I use the sony/7d in preference, due to the weight saving and usability. A real pity that minolta left the scene ! I have had the combination serviced by a minolta technician, and it is right on the money, even after this elapsed time; very sturdy camera, and once you get used to the Mirror lens, it turns out some superb photos. you can use it in manual form, but it is not so accurate as the A/F- you get a red rectangle which lights up when focus achieved.

Pros: Robust, semi-professional, bright viewfinder, and intuitive "analog", easy to use, syncro-flash studio flash.

Cons: Excessive cost, monitors of only 2.5 inches, gust not adequate to sports photos.

Opinion: Superb machine for its time (2004), the 2.5-inch monitor was one of the biggest and bright, good viewfinder, not as bright as that of the Dynax 9 analog (the one resounding yes). The last professional Minolta (even though it was "marked" Konica Minolta was complete in all, not suitable for sports photo (for what we are Canon and Nikon), but the photo-reasoned and thought yes, tripod and studio in my opinion , one of the few rooms that can work with the combination of slow-sync flash and Wireless, a lust, in addition you could use the cable sync with studio flash. resolution was only 6 MP, but I never heard the need to have more, while working for travel magazines, of course today is his tenderness monitor small and dark, but certain features of the regret to this day. machine remains valid for a certain type of photos.
