Pros: Beautifully made camera, very easy to use, very logical set up. uses CF cards, easy to load, easy to release. fairly large screen for reviewing images; works best with top range lenses- Hunts a bit with the 400 APO High speed, but superb when you add APO 1.4 converter !

Cons: If you use a high capacity 10 series CF card, takes quite a long time to set up; after 3 shots, buffer slows down considerably; hunts quite a bit before AF locks onRather noisy when focussing.

Opinion: I still use my 7d for all my nature shots; I use it with a Sony 500AF Mirror lens, and the combination is superb. And you can hand hold it, the anti shake really works !I have a canon 5d 11, and I use the sony/7d in preference, due to the weight saving and usability. A real pity that minolta left the scene !
