Pros: Robustness, feeling, practicality, quality

Cons: Does it have any?

Opinion: I have been using this camera for a few months and immediately the feeling was at the top! A compact body that does not preclude the possibility of creative and quality shots. Excellent balance between aesthetics and practicality. It is a camera that must be studied and understood in order to obtain results always at the maximum: the user manual is not to be discarded but to be studied. The x100V offers many shooting and customization possibilities. Versatile and always handy, now I always carry it with me. If he had an FF sensor... But you can't ask for everything!!!

Pros: Sensor, sharpness, robust and size, ISO seal, battery.

Cons: Af not very fast.

Opinion: Photographic use only, no video. I kept this jewel 1 year (iceland and some European capital and Italian park), I was impressed by the quality of both construction and both the file produced in street and landscape situations. This camera made me want to photograph even during everyday life, without the need / intention of a project. The small size of the machine when changing parameters, especially through the upper rings, I found few 'casual' and awkward, but for the very nature of the machine in question which is also the main reason that often leads to its purchase, can not be considered a defect (I demonstrated 'size' among the merits). I sold it to monetize and proceed to buy again a mirrorless 'classic', personamte I missed too much the manageability of a larger body. As for the fixed focal length 35mm it was not a problem as it is my favorite lens and most used for years. Another praise, I had a fuji xt1 in the past, and although I appreciated it, the rendering of the RAF files in the landscapes made me exasperated. Now I had the impression that Fuji has solved great, hats off!!

Pros: Compact, sturdy, beautiful to look at, adjustable screen, beauty photos, usb C connection as data exchange and battery, good connection. Great for street photography.

Cons: Ergonomics, solvable with a small grip, stabilization (there is) solvable with Gimbal, for Video. Warms up during video shooting. Battery life not great when used for video or keeping the display on for a long time. Cost, but buy a little gem.

Opinion: Purchased in installments, equipped with: -fall and quick release strap, -additional wide-angle lens, -grip with swiss ark plate, -spare battery, and charger (Not present in the box), -Nisi filters set specific for the X100V with natural night and polarizer with stackable and rotatable inserts, -soft case, -DJI Ronin gimbal. I've tested it enough... It is a small beast, especially in the results, you have to learn to manage it to take advantage of all its features and options. It automatically works very well in street situations, where you need to shoot quickly without losing the moment. Not to dwell on it, we are not talking about the cinema filters and special modes, the ND 5 stop filter simulator that can be activated with a click, we are not talking about the hybrid viewfinder that is activated by approaching the eye and that can alternate with a gesture of the finger electronic mode and the analog one, fixed adjustable rings, both on the adjustment of the diaphragm, and for iso, times and exposure compensation (with the possibility of adjustment also customizable electronic) and more ... The burst is very fast, the keys and the joystick (small but functional) help in focusing and generally you get very quickly the customization of the keys and rings, simply by holding them down and selecting from the screen the function desiderata___ good sharpness of the fixed lens, holds well in backlight and gives the photos a magical sensation, I tested 1 of the 2 Fuji compatible lenses for x100V , the wide-angle one (the other is the 50mm if I'm not mistaken) and you lose about 1 stop , but the sharpness is not compromised. --- The screen is a great touch, it is very pleasant and robust although thin in shape, in manual mode , in focus you can have the vision of focus peaking . The hybrid viewfinder is great... Go 'try to understand it ... There is no stabilization, for photos it is not a problem during the day, for the night we know it is not really possible to do it freehand, for videos, I had to take a Gimbal (Ronin SC) to try to make some shots that did not disappoint me absolutely. Big defects does not have, I find uncomfortable (not made very well and plastic) the mode selector (M, C and A) and the position of the Battery / SD compartment with respect to the threaded connection, which, when you screw a fixing plate for a tripod and you have to replace battery or Sd, you have to disassemble it to open the compartment. This type of room is not suitable for everyone... In the sense that if you like to have a compact tropicalized always ready to shoot in your pocket and you are passionate about street is your room, you will not be disappointed, on the other hand, given the price and in any case the little versatility of the 22 mm that becomes about a 35 being a fixed APS-C, making it a use only by street (therefore keeping the 22mm and without adding grip and beautiful company) I would not recommend it to those who Buy your first camera or who is not aware of what they are buying. P.S. is a gem and the photos pure poetry.

Pros: The ultimate compact

Cons: AF still limping, shutter button loose, black screen of 3 seconds after using "clarity", android app still ridiculous

Opinion: By now everyone has talked about it and yes, it is worth the money it costs. Personally I also doubt that Fuji 23mm fixed lenses combined with a body with x-trans 4 can give such a result. The "welded" lens is truly amazing. Unfortunately, some critical issues remain, such as an AF that is definitely unreliable indoors, a "clarity" that inexplicably makes the machine unusable for several seconds when used in fur simulations, and an app that simply does not act and nullifies the "leaving home without a PC by moving the photos on the tablet \ \ mobile editing the JPG on the fly". Constructively it is so beautiful, but I do not understand why the shutter button should give such little confidence, shaky everything, despite the proud "made in japan" written below. The most important part of the machine seems to have had the least attention. Much less with the additional keys above, which make it really difficult to clearly perceive the "the wall", the end of the pre-race, as it is called in photographic jargon I do not know, but I hope you understand. I've often found myself shooting inadvertently, and if you have film simulations active, it's annoying to suddenly see the camera stall a couple of seconds. Overall it is a fantastic car but not without flaws, which however is simply unrivaled. It also has some goodies such as the leaf shutter, a retractable ND filter, an interchangeable optical viewfinder (whose usefulness seemed poor to me but which I re-evaluated) that help, but I do not personally consider "killer features". The real strength of this machine is a very weatherproof body, a great sensor, an amazing lens, and film simulations. The rest could also have removed it.

Pros: Tropicalized, Pocket, ND Filter, Focal, Aesthetics

Cons: It is very addictive, they should make it illegal!

Opinion: Versatile machine, file of excellent quality, ideal for streetphotography, revised fixed focal length that returns very sharp images. To underline the exceptional optical / digital viewfinder, a rarity on today's mirrorless. Nothing to envy to Sony a7c. Amazing design, it has become my every day camera!

Pros: Shutter, built-in ND, lens, AF, files, viewfinders, customization, tropicalization

Cons: The 1350 € to have it but using it you have to admit that it is worth it

Opinion: It is the fifth in the series and the one that brings the best innovation of all, namely the upgrade to the lens! Of the X100F I was in love with its blurry but at F2 it was soft, on the X100V they managed to keep the same soft blur but with a sharpness of the highest level, really a Look from Summicron. For the rest it is a camera for those who know what they want, if you are wondering if it can do for you then you already start badly and you will resell it. The double viewfinder is very comfortable and the new EVF is finally really valid, all the keys are programmable, there is an ND filter that appears on 4-stop command, with the filter becomes tropicalized, beautiful the new ISO ring, faster, leaf shutter with infinite flash syncro and fast electronic shutter, well-kept construction, excellent AFC even if the real time tracking of T3 / T4 latita, Eye AF I do not know how to give too much info, I never use it, it has a minimum distance of MAF very short that allows nice close ups, but you notice a bit of spherical aberration at the minimum distance and the diaphragm must be closed a little. Amazing machine for lovers of focal length and concept.

Pros: It is the compact par excellence

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: There is no other compact at its level. I would say that only the Ricoh GRIII comes a little closer. I did not find any defects in this machine and in my opinion it surpasses many Leica in street photography. It represents one of the machines that I use the most together with the X-Pro3. Baked JPGs are literally perfect and we have a NON Bayer sensor.

Pros: retro aesthetics, image quality, dual viewfinder, tele or wide optical accessories, compactness, improved battery

Cons: flash system not quite at the top

Opinion: Coming from the T I found various improvements: AF speed, tropicalization, battery life (now the same as the XTx series). I really appreciate the retro design inspired by Leica and I find it very practical in the street, where simplicity and promptness are needed. All the style of the X100 series in the currently most advanced body. I have the limted anniversary series with green leather and it is even more beautiful than the usual models. I very much appreciate the improvements. The lens also seems to be improved against the light with increased contrast. The rendering of the file has the pros and cons of xtrans, but it is now well managed by software. The only aspect that I would like to improve is the flash system, a little' inferior to other systems. Cmq I find myself bane either to use it with Godox and triggers or with the Fuji XE20 or with other flashes (in A) of third parties (eg the small SF 24 Leica). The fuji menu I do not mind, although it does not have the immediacy of the leica one (I have known cmq for some time because similar to the Fuji models that I used in the past and that I also use now). Useful are the additions wide and telephoto that allow you to simulate, without noticeable qualitative loss, the focal lengths 28 and 50 mm equivalent

Pros: Beautiful, Excellent JPG Files, Build Quality, AF and Burst

Cons: Battery life, lack of supplied charger, ISO choice ring, tripod thread

Opinion: I start immediately by saying why I chose this compact. I come from FF Canon kit (which I keep) and compact Fuji (xf10) which I use when hiking. This is oriented because I wanted a serious compact, with jpg ready. The classic tip and level snap. Here I found what I was looking for. The XTRANS sensor of this compact APS-C is something exceptional. The ability not to have the low-pass filter thanks to this sensor guarantees really rich images of detail. The various film simulations that are also customizable allow you to have many color stamps for the images and give a mood to jpgs, to my taste, really great. Aesthetics of the beautiful machine and in my opinion really satisfying use experience. The AF is superb and hooks very well. The 11fps burst is even too much for this type of machine (it can reach 30 fps with electronic shutter). The mechanical shutter is central, so never any problem with flash synchros. Unfortunately, there is no shortage of downsides. The battery life is really poor. Using the optical, not digital, viewfinder, I find it difficult to overcome 350 shots with a charge. In addition, the lack of chargers forces you to leave the machine stationary to have to charge the battery in the car. Another negative aspect is the ISO ring that I consider functional, but in the choice of the various sensitivities there is no shot between one and the other. It necessarily forces you to have to look well at which to set and "center" the right sensitivity. The tripod thread is placed very close to the battery and sd card door. If a quick tripod plate is mounted, to remove battery and board you need to disassemble it all the time. It was enough to place the thread a few inches away. Overall it is an amazing machine and apart from the price a little high, I consider it the best in that category (or perhaps the only one, discarding SONY and LEICA with FF at a cost of 4/5 times this)

Pros: great construction and beautiful feeling in your hand

Cons: little note... To reactivate the machine from the standbay, you have to press the shutter button or turn off and turn on the machine, I would have preferred the menu and/or play button. lack of a battery charge.

Opinion: I've never owned a fujifilm, let alone a mirrorless one. I've been using it for a few days, you touch first hand the build quality and the beauty of the design, the fixed lens at f/2 churns out excellent files. I stop here, resuming the speech after mastering it more thoroughly with the settings of the menus for me a little tangled, but you know coming from other brands, the difficulties are natural. for now great impressions.

Pros: folding screen, practically a pro 3 with fixed optics, constructive quality

Cons: Maybe given the price the battery charge I would have inserted it

Opinion: small, light but he doesn't lack anything tried even with the extension to 35 and 50 and makes it even more palatable. Rather than taking the xt4 that I see developed more for the video (I say I do not make videos) I preferred to keep the xt3 and flank the 100V precisely for the comfort and small and I want to carry it always behind . I found no differences of any kind on the files, an improvement on the quality of the xt3 monitor 1,000,000 pixels against 1,600,000 of the 100V in short a nice concentration of novices.

Pros: Constructive quality, image quality, completeness of the menu, practicality and pleasure of use.

Cons: Dedicated accessories and their type; "poorer" packaging; no charger in the box.

Opinion: I've had the whole Fujifilm X100 series, and this is - in fact - the fifth. Deliberately, I did not include among the "against" the fact that this camera (like the previous ones) has a fixed optics: those who buy this already know, and choose it. Therefore, I find it absurd who first buys it and then complains about it. Given this proper premise, compared to the previous X100F there are improvements, and there are many: new redesigned lens, downse screen, new 26-megapixel sensor (it's the same as the XT-3 and X-pro3), very complete menu and - in my opinion - very well done, tropicalization (using dedicated accessories: adapter ring and filter, which can also be purchased by third parties). Image quality has also improved, both in terms of total megapixels and - above all - in terms of dynamic range and usability at high ISO. The built-in flash is small and not powerful, but in many cases (backlit portraits, special effects) having it is a blessing: if you learn to use it, with its limitations, it does not miss a beat. And then, most of all: it is a real pleasure to use it, you would always carry it. I put accessories between the "against" and I explain myself in detail. Fuji's stunning original leather case for previous X100 series is no longer usable: the new X100V is wider, so the old case is useless. Fuji has produced a new one that, although pretty, has lost the practicality of the previous one. Now if you want to use it while shooting, the entire top of the case should be completely removed and can no longer be left hanging at its base. The beautiful magnetic closure of the previous case has been replaced by a small leather webbing with an automatic button. Moreover, while there were, in Fuji they could have made the lens cover part a little deeper, which continues to be unusable with adapter, filter and cap mounted (even without the lampshade). In the X100 series, with each subsequent release the house has saved something on the packaging: from the wonderful box of the first X100, now the packaging is much more banal, lighter and cheaper. The battery charge is no longer understood; so, either you are forced to charge the battery leaving it in the camera and connecting the latter to a USB socket, or else (almost mandatory option if you own, like me, 2 or 3 spare batteries) you have to buy it separately. Again, fortunately, there is a wide choice of valid accessories produced by third parties at a fraction of the price compared to the original Fuji. So I summed up the little "pains." For everything else, the X100V is a camera that is a real pleasure to use.
