Pros: Versatile. Very good sharpness. Excellent OIS

Cons: At 135mm the sharpness is not at the top, but only at long distances and at infinity. The autofocus in low-light area suffers from locking onto the subject.

Opinion: Excellent and versatile on all fronts. Truly exceptional value for money. I recommend it, on the second-hand market it is found at affordable prices. It can easily replace the basic 18-55 zoom. The stabilizer compensates for small apertures and you can always shoot in any light condition. Very good

Pros: Versatile, tropicalized, build quality, top image stabilizer, very good flare resistance, excellent sharpness at closed apertures "f/5.6 - f/11, telephoto area also f/16",

Cons: Considering that we are talking about a mid-range all-round Zoom I would say nothing special!

Opinion: From my point of view it is an all-rounder to own absolutely! contrary to many who prefer fixed lenses certainly with better performance than Zoom even if not always! I love zooms, first for the versatility in focal length and second, once mounted to the camera body because of the versatility it offers, you do not have the thought of changing lenses frequently unless you always shoot at the same focal length "what balls!". Compared to another Fuji all-rounder the XF 16-80mm F4 that I owned and sold just to replace this lens, I can say that beyond the greater focal range that this Zoom offers, it also offers a better rendering in image quality, on the other hand we lose those 2mm wide angle compared to the XF 16-80mm F4 but nothing more and if I have to be honest, For the use I make of it I have never suffered from this loss, the wide-angle shots are equally good! another comparison that I can make compared to the XF 16-80mm F4 is the aperture, but considering the poor yield at F4 of the latter seeing me so forced to close an F / Stop to have more sharpness, with the XF 18-135mm this problem does not arise in fact, at F / 5.6 the lens already works very well at any focal length, except for the extreme Tele that goes from 110mm to 135mm, at this focal length in fact to have a sharp and uniform image on almost the entire frame, it is advisable to close at least at F / 8. The stabilizer of this Zoom is simply amazing! I think one of the best I've ever tried, so much so that it allows shots at very low times without being forced to raise the ISO, obviously also contributes a steady hand but I can guarantee that the 5 Stop of the stabilizer work really well. The blurred is not screaming but based on the distance and aperture you get excellent results, I like it! As for the Zoom excursion, I confirm what many have already said, in fact even my XF18-135mm has a certain resistance in the final stretch ranging from 100 to 135mm, finally, however, I do not agree so much on the complaints of the hood, beyond the material with which it is made "plastic, the most common!", I do not understand where the problem is ..... Mounted following the indication of the reference dot of the hood and the small dash placed on the lens, it fits very well and remains firm, without ever having perceived that feeling of fragility. Good shot to all!

Pros: Value for money, image quality, tropicalization, flare resistance, versatility, stabilizer

Cons: I haven't found any yet

Opinion: One of my favorite lenses in fuji optical park. Those who do not have particular prejudices towards zoom lenses, will surely appreciate the versatility of this lens that represents a great example of an all-round lens. The image quality, sharpness, flare manageability and flare quality are appreciated. The stabilizer works excellently and allows you to make up for the opening of a non-exceptional diaphragm. Great that it's also a WR lens. In my use (I have been owning it for about a year) I have not found any particular defects. By the way, being a not very young lens, it is also quite easily located on the used market, at absolutely attractive prices for a lens of this quality.

Pros: Versatility, sharpness, compactness

Cons: The zoom ring is a bit harsh

Opinion: I had this zoom to then change it with the pair 18-55 + 55-200, gaining in tele, focal that I use most. I liked the fact of going out light, with a optics all in all versatile and sharp, even if it loses a bit ' to the maximum focal. This all-to do the advice for those who love all-in-one, is a good compromise without exceeding in anything, you feel free and without worries of changing the optics or not to have the right focal.

Pros: Practicality. Price-quality, fairly sharp.

Cons: Zoom ring that does not flow well in the final stroke. Sharpness in the Tele area.

Opinion: A great lens to take on holiday or hiking. I put it when I have to travel light and in unfavorable conditions, with wind dust and rain so that you do not have to change optics. Stabilization does its duty and you can shoot even with little light. Maybe it's a bit cumbersome if mounted on cameras without grips, it unbalances the shot but it is a subjective thing. Excellent definition in wide-angle and medium tele version but loses to full excursion. advisable as a handyman the mountains and you almost never take it off. In case I recommend to match a bright 23 and you're done.
