Pros: Sharpness, excursion up to 105, speed AF Great all-rounder, well built, good focal excursion, excellent AF.

Cons: Nothing if it is used for the purposes for which it was designed (travel-reportage)

Opinion: A great optics, ideal all to do for the trip, I consider It an ideal destination for travel,The construction is very good and compact and has a balanced weight. Stabilization and a plus. AF Fast and accurate does not mistake a shot. Sharp already at F4, but for me the best comes from F/5.6 to F/11. I bought this lens mainly to replace the already Canon EF 24-105mm L

Pros: focal range, low distortion, stabilization

Cons: The usual ones who slice a mediocre all-rounder lens: evident flare, nervous blurred, plasticy etc

Opinion: Medium quality all-rounder lens in all of course. It is used to bring home work by virtue of its only real quality: the focal range. Unfortunately even canon following today's taste is making hyper-sharp lenses at the expense of something that for example the first EF version had: a lot of aberrations able to give a fascinating stamp to the photo. With this lens you take the same shots you get from a mobile phone; combined with machines like the R6 classic and even worse with the R6mk2 (honest machine that costs more than it is worth for now) the results are disastrous. With the R5, on the other hand, things improve considerably. I do not want those who are affected by dunning kruger and amateur photographers accustomed to mobile phones or to think of a single dimension as a parameter to take a picture: sharpness. Work lens I repeat, suitable for those who have to go light with the minimum characteristics of an L series that I remember is the class of lenses designed for those who work with photography, period. In case anyone thinks that it was too cutting in the judgment I add some information: purchased a few months ago - no more than three - to date combining it with all the FF R series, except the RP, I made about 7 thousand shots (events, portraits, catalogs, weddings) both in the studio and on the wild, in addition to videos: interviews, business, events.

Pros: Ergonomics and use of rings, weight, materials pleasant to the touch, precise, fast and silent AF, sharp already at TA, no chromatic aberration, excellent resistance to backlight, nice contrast, bright colors and pleasant blur even at F4.

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Suffice it to say that I sold all my previous Canon lenses and SLR bodies including a couple of fixed lenses to have only one lens, the Canon RF24-105L. After months, I confirm this choice a bit extreme but reasoned, as a body I decided to keep only the exceptional Canon R6II (amazing camera) and as an all-rounder lens the RF24-105L (excellent lens with professional quality) with which I do practically everything and of which I could only be more satisfied. I recommend this pair to anyone without hesitation, in my opinion the best ML in the category and the best all-rounder on the market, both with professional quality. Rated 9 for the excellent Canon RF24-105L

Pros: Image quality, autofocus, stabilization, silent, control ring, at f4 satisfactory blurred, color rendering.

Cons: At the moment nothing.

Opinion: After some vicissitudes that the old EF 24/105 gave me, such as twice Error 01 or communication error with the camera. Cleaned the contacts the notice was always present. Sent for repair I was told that the communication flat ie the cable was broken. Repaired, unfortunately after 7 months I had the same problem to guarantee the repair now expired. At this point I decided to pour on the optics in question. After several photos I have to observe that there is a difference in response with the old EF of course on the same R6. Starting from the chromatic aberration, there is a clear improvement compared to the previous one. The focus is fast and precise, while the colors are vivid and contrasted. In the excursion of the focal length at least in this I did not find any game and not even as I read an annoying noise. What I greatly appreciated not only has the lock button, but above all the lens remains fixed to the focal length used for shooting every time you observe the photo taken on the display, while before it tended to move on the longer focal length, which is annoying if you had to repeat the shot. Useful is the programmable ring on the barrel. In my opinion a very good all-rounder.

Pros: Image quality , 9 blades , stabilization, supplied accessories , flawless AFS

Cons: AFC not very silent, internal stabilizer clearance, price compared to the construction materials of the barrel

Opinion: Handyman really very good with regard to image quality (color fidelity and right contrast and also right sharpness, maybe even superlative), the blurred 9 blades and stabilization are excellent. The metal bayonet is pleasing to the eye and to the touch and immediately gave me a pleasant sense of solidity. What ultimately matters is weight and image quality. I would certainly have preferred a metal barrel at the expense of a greater weight (which for me would contribute to greater solidity and therefore to better ergonomics), and for this reason I do not consider it a pro. On the other hand, the image stabilizer that is felt (has a certain game), and the AF SERVO whose ultrasounds are quite noisy in closed environments. Very nice leather bag with hood supplied
