Pros: Articulated LCD, dynamic range, ethen batteries, dual display.

Cons: for the body machine that is none, obviously the resistance over 3200 ISO was higher...

Opinion: Switched to 80D after squeezing a small 1100D. Definitely another level, better ergonomics, double display, and above all (for me) the adjustable display! I used it mainly during trekking in the mountains and on trips, on any occasion and climatic situation he always did his job churning out excellent rows. In my opinion also excellent the AF who helped me decisively by taking pictures of the dogs. Highly recommended for those who do not want to switch to FF, alongside level lenses gives beautiful satisfactions.

Pros: almost everything to be an apsc

Cons: double slot,joystic

Opinion: I immediately fell in love with its dynamic range, spectacular autofucus and eternal battery. After two intense years of photos (very intense, about 13K per year ) the battery holds up with extreme pleasure; Many say that it has a body not worthy of the price, a little plasticotta etc. honestly I used it in climbing, canyoning, trekking , took waves, blizzards, clouds etc and continues to stay on the piece , I never had a problem , never a recorded error and although at the time I had no important lenses, it always gave me considerable emotions in all the fields I explored. Even in the milky way at f4 I could take home shots of respect to iso, crazy for an apsc 3000/4000 . Today I mainly use full frames, but I continue to use it in my excursions or in my pleasure trips. On the other hand I put the joystick because after getting used to the 5d3/4 series it's hard to do without it, but on the positive it has the touch very comfortable and functional, while for the double slot, honestly, the space had it, but personally I never felt the need .

Pros: Ergonomics, battery.mirror points af 45,monitor snoode ,settings menu, robust.

Cons: Iso over 3200

Opinion: I had this Reflex for 3 years and I have to say that I was satisfied and then move from a few weeks to the 90d. Machine that gave me nice satisfactions in track motogp superbike car etc. with 70 200L f4 then 70 300L f4 5.6. Af pretty quick to hook for one that passes by a base reflex is a nice leap in quality. Battery of 10 and praise I did a day in misano taking 2700 photos in raw with stabilizer active only vertically with 70 300L and I arrived in the evening with 40% inexhaustible really!!!!!! Robust Reflex and that absolutely advice .

Pros: Beautiful, ergonomic, versatile and semi-tropicalized machine body, with touch and adjustable display, fast and precise focus also in live view thanks to the Dual Pixel AF, 100% viewfinder coverage, Full HD 60fps video, good burst and shutter up to 1/8000 and 1/250 with flash, defined sensor and with good dynamic range, ISO seal, excellent battery life. A good and optimized handyman compared to other APS SLRs, suitable for passionate amateur and handyman.

Cons: Plastics a little poor and sensitive to the rows, materials that can be improved but still that make up a robust and light body. Lack of auxiliary light, lack of 4K which I do not consider essential in a semi-pro body, but the digital stabilizer instead yes, which I would have preferred to find, as on the 90D, since they are machines with good video department.

Opinion: After many years of passion with compacts and smartphones, I decided to buy the famous Reflex, with which I am taking the real path as a photographer and videographer. After using an old 600D for 5 months to get used to the operation and technical parameters, I carefully chose to acquire the Canon 80D, new socket 679€. Full Frame I'll buy later. Very happy with the choice, as versatile, simple, reliable, almost complete, fun for its level, that is, for enthusiasts and for also use "semi pro". I use it for portraits, landscapes, photos at night, videos and daytime photos to moving subjects, and I always arrive at the end of the day as autonomy! The files have a very good dynamic range especially at low ISO, the iso seal is good to be an APS-C, for working shooting the photos are pleasant, excellent and quietly workable up to ISO 800, good and workable up to ISO 3200, then up to ISO 6400 which is practically its limit the sensor gives way too much so I do not push it further. Very pleasant the vivid screen, adjustable and touch, full of controls and settings directly accessible, and the wide viewfinder with 100% coverage. Also right the position of the main keys, it also has good audio microphones for videos, and the headphone jack. It lacks a few things that would have made it almost perfect for its category, such as the digital stabilizer in the videos and the auxiliary light. But it is a fun machine and suitable for amateur guys and advanced amateurs, also suitable for evening photos and daytime photos to moving subjects given the excellent DUAL PIXEL focus and good ISO seal. Professionals obviously have to rely on 5D mark 4 or other...

Pros: Virtually everything

Cons: Silent shot, it should be a little more.

Opinion: Hello, I'm new to the forum, I haven't had the opportunity to attach photos yet. I wanted to give a little opinion about this camera. I have owned this reflex for two years, I went from 350D, 40D and 70D, the 80 is really an exceptional machine, I do not understand who like Ferorake, without offense, advises and destroys it like this. I mistreated her, used her in the rain to have 70-200L f4 is, she never betrayed me. My judgment, as an evolved amateur, is more than positive! Good light to all.

Pros: Excellent body shape, good materials to the touch, excellent ergonomics, good iso seal, good laying latitude, excellent optical viewfinder, excellent arrangement and coverage of autofocus points, well-built orientable touchscreen screen. excellent battery life, perfect menus and navigation.

Cons: Lack of double memory slots for SD cards.

Opinion: From the moment of purchase I equipped it with its original battery grip and in this configuration it give me a remarkable feeling of solidity and versatility vertically. For the rest I find it excellent in all the shooting situations that I normally face. Having already other canons I appreciated the continuity of the arrangement of the controls and the well-organized menus made following the same logic. Mainly I bought it because of the excellent orientable viewer that allows photos from uncomfortable positions and facilitates the movements of my old back not so young. The autofocus surprised me for speed, excellent coverage of AF points and accuracy even in autofocus tracking mode. The ability to set up with custom picture styles is also great. In conclusion I express a more than positive opinion in relation to the purchase price, Good light and good photos at all.

Pros: Almost everything

Cons: Maybe the high ISO yield

Opinion: I do not understand some who criticize so fiercely this machine, judging from the photos that makes is not absolutely bad, is certainly not the top of the range but does not disfigure with any of the competition, it is said that 1000 euros are too many for a body so, certainly the prices are High but not only of this, they sell Nikon Coolpix P1000 with ridiculous sensor 1/2.3 ' ' At 1000 euros this is a robbery...... Then returning to the camera body may seem at first glance sturdy but it is only a sensation, is much more robust than other bodies that use heavy materials, the heaviness nowadays no longer counts....... I also have a Nikon D800 almost new and I assure you it made me angry more than the Canon 80D.... With the rubber that was detached from the body, etc....... Sometimes people criticize for the taste of criticizing........ Good pictures at all...

Pros: Excellent autofocus, truly swivel and solid Touchscreen (not like competition), timelapse widely manageable, HDR, excellent high ISO hold; Excellent battery life. Great sturdiness and constructive quality that emerges especially in the use although at first glance it may seem more delicate.

Cons: For my use no one but I don't hide that if there had been the 4k would have been perfect

Opinion: I write this opinion because after reading the last two reviews I felt pulled for the jacket. I routinely use EOS 5d Mark IV, but just these days I purchased my second 80d (which I use as a second body). I read about price not related to quality, too much plastic, seems to crumble in hand.... and other nonsense that did not match the reality. Thank goodness there are also reviews of authoritative photographers like Mauro Gamberini to support the real capabilities of this camera. After you've used it properly, I consider the 80d a notch above the 70d and, in my opinion, except for the AF, even a notch above the 7d MK II, quality of the files really good, be they RAW or Jpeg, quietly holds the ISO 3200 sensitivity , but also more depending on the shooting conditions. 24 megapixels that you see all, customizable as you want and, I add I have tried it around the world, robust as never before. He endured the red dust of African and Indian safaris, soaked in water under monsoons or boating on the Ganges, never denied me a jerk. An enviable autonomy and a dynamic range nothing bad to be a Canon;-). Personally I preferred it to the 7d Mark II (which I owned). So when I read some nonsense I think that should release a review only those who use cameras and not the fan boy of the last minute who do not know what they are looking for.

Pros: Lightness, simplicity of use, Canon Optics Park, folding screen and touch. Connection microphone and headphones audio, WiFi.

Cons: Low quality construction, sensor with obvious limits, excessive use of plastic, price not related to the quality offered, no 4k video, low reactive, slow data transfer.

Opinion: I used for a year and a half this car, bought maybe without too much documentation. Having already a Canon FF it seemed like a good choice, but I regretted it. In everyday use it has shown all its limitations, in particular the quality of the sensor and the general quality of the materials. Too much plastic. A machine for amateur use, no more, with limited functions in both photos and videos. The only thing I enjoyed during some shooting is the screen completely touch and tipfold, also useful in vertical, and the presence of the headphone connection audio and microphone. Useful files up to 800 ISO, then the Canon APSC sensor yields too much. MAF greatly improved compared to other Canon mid-range, as well as a good shutter speed. Maybe useful as a second body or exclusively for video. Sold.

Pros: ---

Cons: Construction does not live up to the price

Opinion: I state that I was looking for an APS-C to do photographic hunting without huge pretensions (no lightning-fast chases), but I was looking for something that would allow me to recover some shots even "not perfect", which with my old 7d was not even Remotely thinkable (and the prefered to the 7d Mark II because it has better dynamic range). I found this 80d at a ridiculous price (new), and I was wondering why. Jack I immediately realized how to call it a toy is not an exaggeration. You feel the poor quality, and the comparison with a 7d also mark I is enormously unequal. What is the point of selling such a reflex (with a good AF and an interesting sensor) to almost €1,000, and then equip it with a similar body? Each button seems to crumble in the hand, the tires are quite different from the body (index that will be ruined immediately), and many other small constructive features that I did not think you could not have on a machine "almost pro". Does not stand anywhere near the comparison with a 7d mark I, let alone 2, and do not dare to put in the field the Nikon D500 because the Canon could explode. Basically a machine that I do not recommend absolutely, for sports use should orient on a 7d mark II, if you do landscaping etc. Buy directly a full frame (I do not understand how you can do portraits and the like with an APS-C but it is a My personal opinion). Let's not talk about the video side, excellent screen tiltabile sensibly (not like that of the Canon M5 to say that it flips where the cavalletto\\gimbal...) that allows you to vlogging serenely, but the lack of 4k is a big limit. In summary it is a beautiful machine enclosed in a ridiculous body, sold at an exaggerated price.

Pros: Handling and ease of use canon unparalleled good high yield ISO (a half stop behind the top APS-c Sony and Nikon) excellent dynamic range at ISO 100 (even higher than some full frame es. 6d Mark II) dual pixel focusing system, unmatched in excellent video co Of the PT. of focus, and sensitivity in low light. Exceptional Precision Autofocus (other than Sony Alpha 7) Excellent battery life.

Cons: Unexplained lack of focus peaking absence of 4k (for me irrelevant) autofocus Tracking not up to par for sports use

Opinion: I shoot for 9 years with an Eos 550d, then it's time to take a nice step forward, I had initially thought to full frame, but considering the costs of optics and seeing the surprising evolution of APS-C sensors I decided to invest again in APS-C. After a few months of use I can affirm without doubt that the room is something exceptional, does not fear any competitor, perfect even as a second camera body for professionals (as long as they do not exclusively sports photos). Many evaluate only the technical characteristics, forgetting what is more important, the daily use. The machine is comfortable, well studied fruit of years of experience, does not touch, lasts so much without downloading, excels in nothing but has no real flaws. I was surprised at the high ISO yield, roughly a stop behind the full frame of Canon House. The autofocus is very precise and covers a large area. The dualpixel does not fear rivals. Comfortable the double ring and the ability to integrate the selection of fire on the controller (I do not understand why they did not put the joystick, but does not change anything). By day it has an excellent dynamic range, and noise at high ISO is easily workable in post production. Already excellent JPEG files in the room. In conclusion It is a room that works well, and when you use it you can only focus on photographs and not having to quarrel with the room settings (we want to talk about the interface of certain Fujifilm type X-Es2? Or that of the Sony a6000?) The association with quality optics is essential, my choice fell on:-canon 17 55 f 2.8 IS USM-Canon 24 f 2.8 STM-Canon 50 F 1.8 stm-canon 55-250 f4-5.6 STM-Helios 44-2 58mm F2

Pros: Excellent Autofocus as the orientable touchscreen, timelapse widely manageable, HDR configurable, excellent file management even at high ISO; Excellent battery life, which allows you to perform a photo session, even challenging, without problems (obviously a second or third battery in the bag is always appropriate).

Cons: I honestly do not match today's problems whatsoever.. A little weight, and as seen by many the lack of 4k (but definitely not a big problem).

Opinion: I have for 6 months this wonder.. I have already run a good number of photos in order to assert that it is an APS-C of excellent level. I used a lot of my shots for various publications, with excellent results (I'm not a professional). The difference with the 40D is notable especially for the management of night shots: freehand you can shoot at 6400 ISO with very little noise, obtaining excellent results.

Pros: Compact, heavy the right with the installed BG, fast and versatile autofocus, tilting and touch monitor, good dynamic range, high ISO holding in comparison to the other APS-C house of Canon.

Cons: Focus light block for non-canon flash and inability to be able to read the number of shutter shots without sending the camera in to camera service.

Opinion: Purchased as a second body to match my 6d, I was looking for something different as a format (although I already owned APS-C earlier) able to stretch the focal length of my optics and that it was more versatile for sport (let's say the AF of the 6d pur Being great, it does not do wonders in this area). The choice was relapsing between 7d Mark II and this 80D, but having read that the first, is a beautiful by day, crossing the fingers I bought the second, remaining very satisfied with the choice made. Maybe it will not have the AF of the 7d Mk II and the 10 fps, but has an excellent AF system and 7 fps are more than enough for my use. Of course to better balance the weight of the optics for FF, as in 6d, I resorted to BG, but now we are accustomed by the time of analogue and I can not help it. The shots that can churn out are well detailed and have a remarkable dynamic range that the other APS-C of the house Canon do not have, the high ISO holding is good up to 3200, the layout of the keys is roughly the same as 6d, so I do not create details of Fficoltà the transition from one reflex and the other, in addition the monitor touch and tilting is a plus to facilitate shooting that otherwise require the use of the activation command via WI-FI or lie down on the ground. The AF in Live-Wiew is finally worthy of a speed that makes it actually usable, as accurate as that from viewfinder. The video department I have not tried yet, but I state that I do not do videos, so I do not even know if I use it, but from what I read is more than adequate to today's video needs, except for the 4k. Until now I can not find faults and the construction is quite strong and durable, it will not be a tank like the 7d or 5d Mk II that I have owned but it is still sturdy. The shots performed to test it, were a pleasant surprise already to the monitor of the same. Recommended, all substance.

Pros: Autofocus, dynamic range, ISO seal, noise type easily cleaned in post, burst, auto iso with minimum shutter speed, cost, colors

Cons: Nobody at this price

Opinion: I come from a canon 7d smooth and I mainly do sports and nature photos. I was terrified of taking the package and find myself a worse autofocus, but it is really good, certainly not the 7d mark ii, but on the contrary the image quality I think is higher than 7d mii in general, so much more usable machine for other genres as well as sports. The colors are fantastic, the seal iso makes the full frame cringe, if correctly exposed to 12800 iso is usabilissimo, the use of night with the 100f2 in the training stadium of my son who has a terrible light, both video and photos and dxo to clean the noise come out shots and videos to fade, the same evening with the micro 4/3 at 6400 iso and the canon at 12800 the canon produces shots all perfect 4/3 all to throw with the hallucinating colorcast. The tracking in the sports field is great except when you enter a player at close range during the burst, BIF still have to try well, but not very far from the 7d in this compartment, perhaps lacking the autofocus expansion and the shake-fbastard on small subjects in the frame, but surely it is also my inexperience. The colors are fantastic, warm and saturated as I like especially with fixed and zomm series L. Very comfortable the car iso with minimum shutter speed. Excellent autofocus also in very precise live view. Beautiful the possibility of microadjustment on wide and telephoto. Lighter than 7d, it makes you want to take it with you, of course it's not a micro 4/3 that's in your pocket.

Pros: Autofocus, battery life, semipro, touchscreen, rotating display, burst, three-dimensional images.

Cons: Nobody on the photos, lacking the 4k if they make videos.

Opinion: Since I come from the 70D and in recent times I also tried the 700D and 1300D list of pro: rnrn- Autofocus: exceptional, 45 points cross and a very fast speed in the subject's engagement, rarely mistakes. Rn- Battery: is given to 900 and go jumps, you can actually use the car for days without recharging the battery.rn- Semipro body: the presence of the top LCD, semitropicalization and double ringer is really a plus, however in line with the band's competition of price.rn- Touchscreen: now indispensable, as well as the adjustable display.rn- Raffica: 7FPS for 15 continuous shots (I speak of RAWs), from 16th the machine slows to 2FPS as it saturates the buffer. Every RAW weighs 38MB, with JPG bursts of 7FPS unlimited.rn- Image quality: I thought 70D changed little and nothing and instead I got rid of files of amazing quality and sharpness, the performance jump is marked and obvious, not I would never have said it. I'm just against video mode but I leave pit's known that Canon does not excel in the APS-C, so up to 800ISO all right then the PP grain starts to notice. rnrnPrice at the time of review of 915 € (Guaranteed Market Guaranteed) for the body alone, I would say it's worth it all.rnrnThat last note I tell you that the car has taken a lot of snow and that for a day has not turned on. Put it on the thermo and drying it is then distributed smoothly.

Pros: body machine to use as a professional for its focus points .. simple and fast

Cons: being one of the latest commercial cameras (about a year a little longer) has the block for counting the shots .. I found another problem nn just recently, the auxiliary light has been locked for flash non of canon home, so i that I use a maike 600 (canon 600 copy) I do not have the chance to shoot with AF ausiliary light ... great sins in my opinion ..

Opinion: in general it has been a great machine for more than a year working as a photographer in weddings and parties in general. this body reacts bn and compared to my first car body 5d mk iii does not have much to envy them .. congratulations to canon home for this machine body pity but for all these blocks that give me a lot of annoyance xk even a 600 d can use AF auxiliary from a non-canon flash! boh wabb i go for a reason ..

Pros: Sharpness, Ergonomics, Colorimetry, and Enamy Dynamic Range you have an 80D in your hands but it's as if I had a top-of-the-range, 1080p 60fps, super-precise and fast AF-c

Cons: On a set I realize that the machine registers in All-I just a 1080p at 25 and 24 fps and maybe the double slot but that does not bother me

Opinion: I bought this machine to support a damage from Sony and then buy a FF in the future or as soon as possible, I bought it for photography but I found myself testing it in Video at a ceremony with Cinestyle installed coupled to my GH5, I say I have taken to some of the fabulous pictures, not to compare with GH5 but I'm telling you a wonderful, dynamic range in crazy video, a detail not to envy Sony a6500 and a7sII, machines I already tested and sent to c ...., a facility to manage the menu on the scene without any problems I shot with a 17-55 f2.8 and with a 35 f1.4 sigma but by my wonder I would not stop seeing and reviewing the scene. I shot with Canon 24-105 L (A series L to go off) and I had a 6D with me with a friend with 24-70 Tamron and I tell you both of them compare the photographic result there is no absolute difference, a quality frightened . I left Canon long ago videotaped but around I heard voices of this machine that Canon had improved both the 1080p and 24.2 mpx in the picture therethey all are . The autofocus is accurate both with USM optics and I do not imagine with STM optics the detail in the video is not 6D in 5D mkIII (I do not know that of 5D mak IV) but today i say ... Canon 80D and a great second camera body A wider angle (which I now buy right now ... Tamron 10-24 latest version) and with the same excellent video production ... video coupled with the new 6D mkII will have big but big results ... Buy it right away ..

Pros: Lightweight, powerful and reliable in all situations, even in the dark or almost. Great workability of the files produced.

Cons: I would say no.

Opinion: The purchase was a consequence of the ascending monkey screaming to give back the 1100D that had been accompanying me for a few years. The difference is abysmal: it was like getting on a SuperTener and after getting off a scooter. The lack of the second slot is bad for the pros and I understand them, since I do not make ceremonies but important events are also in my private life and having a "life-buoy" becomes a motive of serenity. But it's ... rnrnThe touch touch and tilt touch is a choice that I appreciate a lot, except when it is outwardly oriented and comes with a shoulder strap: this is a functional and practical tool, especially when using lenses With no autofocus.rnrnThe connectivity is entrusted to an integrated WIFI module that allows you to work remotely using the smartphone. For anyone interested, I find the photo transfer function convenient, so that you can share the shots immediately. On myI-Pad3 tablet has no way of doing something. RnrnDuring the ability to make movies in Time-Lapse.rnrnWith its effectiveness in the focus and the new sensor technology, the car has a strong predisposition for the sporty or naturalistic photo Where accuracy associated with speed is indispensable. I'm not my kind so I can only talk about the times when I did some photos on the football matches of friends and associated with the 70-200 f4 ISL was well defended, considering I had to raise the ISO beasts due to the poor lighting environment . RnrnA kind of portrait I find a great companion. Associated with quality optics, then, it returns images that can do without post-production. RnrnTogether with friends I did some experiment of pseudo astro photography. Fun also using a light-weight lens like 10-18. RnrnParsimonious in power consumption, the battery has a lifespan that also allows sessions where you often use Live-View. I personally snap a lot in this mode and I also made 2%2F300 photos without walking. RnrnI do not have the skills that one can have a professional, but I can say that the car in question has so many features that make it a serious, durable and reliable work tool.

Pros: All

Cons: Anything

Opinion: I came from canon 7d and even before 40d.It is an exceptional reflex, in all points of view. It seems a mix between the canon 6d with regard to the focus and the 5d mark 4 for the iso.rn seal ... Kept big out of fear ... files also workable at 8000 isorn, efficient burst and af module that looks at us at night ... What to say ... a monster .... just missing the ff sensor to be perfect

Pros: RAW file workable, lightweight but ergonomic AF.

Cons: For my use, nothing special.

Opinion: It is the APS-C beside the FF machine. Mostly used for car / bike with its original battery grip, which with two batteries also these original ones, allows me to safely do an event for over 2000/2500 shots. The burst of my use is enough and so the focus. Taking the battery grip and mounting the 16-35 F4L IS becomes a great holiday / vacation companion. I hardly move beyond the 1600 ISO, and to this value I do not encounter problems in RAW processing. In short, very pleased with this car.

Pros: Quality and image sharpness, ISO estate, rich raw files of information, solidity and tropicalisation body, Af, fullhd video at 60fps, swivel touch screen, WiFi and NFC chip

Cons: For me no, maybe just a frame rate increased to 120 on movies in 720p, but daydream.

Opinion: I state that I come from a 600d that has accompanied me for 4 long years, so my opinion may not be that enthusiastic. 80d This makes me regret only one thing: not to have bought before. The own 2 weeks and I fell in love with. solid and massive machine "Body", many well-positioned and spaced keys, precise articulated touch screen and also convenient for change in the release values ??at a glance or to make zoom on the fly to verify the MAF.rnrnLa use primarily in conjunction with an equally fantastic Sigma 18-35 f / 1.8 for photos and local clubs and performance are shocking. The focus is perfect even in conditions of very low light levels, the resistance to high ISO is decidedly promoted up to 3200, but it is also acceptable to 6400 and then decreased obviously going up to the highest values. File rich and detailed RAW, also recovering very difficult situations .. definitely the best ever seen so far on a dynamic range APSC Canon.rnAnche video files are crisp and rich and finally find sti Bened60fps in fullhd ounces (but nothing 4k). In my humble opinion they could dare the 120fps at 720p, we hope somehow unlock via firmware update (it will be tough). Dual slot for me useless, or at least not essential on this utilizzo.rnrnAltro end point is surely the battery life (2000 shots comfortable comfortable) and, against all odds, point in favor for the WiFi that is already made very useful in a couple of situations. In addition coupled to the NFC chip really surprised me for the actual utilità.rnrnNel complex is expensive, it is true, but for me it is worth them all from first to last.

Pros: Exceptional sharpness, high ISO tight, shapely body, articulated screen, touch screen, wifi function

Cons: Virtually no, the presence of a second slot not fundamental Im.

Opinion: I already own a 5D Mark III and I bought this model as a second body. I found a great opportunity right here on Juza. So far I have only one output, but are already excited about the car and I am convinced I made an excellent purchase. Of course we have used to date full frame bodies (5D, 5DII, 5D III), I have to make us a little 'used with APS-C format, but I must say that as image quality, sharpness, high ISO estate, has nothing inferior to the full body of my other format. Then swivel screen and touch screen I find it great for people like me photographing landscapes using a tripod, is a real convenience, I wish it were also adopted on full frame bodies. WiFi is another feature that I find very convenient, especially for transferring images to your smartphone but also to control the machine directly from telefono.rnOvviamente also delve other aspects of the machine, for now I am really happy purchase

Pros: Tropicalised, well-made machine body, many functions, Video Full HD at 50 fps, 45 customizable af points, light but not too much, weighs the right, senior iso held good until 5000. Now the price has fallen by much since its release, and it is now more suitable for a model

Cons: Lack Dual slot, if this is a contrast, for the moment I do not see.

Opinion: I just bought this model, waiting for her down the price as usually happens, now has a more appropriate price to the model, output was just too much for me, I sold my Eos 60d, 80d aggingento to switch to a small difference, possess also a Eos 70d, and between the two models, there are few but important steps forward for me, while it is possible for people like me is concerned, filming at 1920 x 1080 at 50 fps in MP4 mode, so you have more videos fluids and in the case of clips in slow motion, smooth and not jerky as in the case of 70d that films only at 25 fps, unless it does not reduce the resolution to 1280 x 720 losing in quality. Autofocus more precise, it has gone from 19 points to 45, and many other small improvements, in .... Photos and spectacular level, of course, speaking of an APSC and not Fullframe, xciò should be based on this type of sensor, cmq I did some tests, and always for me up to 5000 iSO files are very good as well with a little intervention with Lightroom but in any case I think noNo exceed 6400 .... Coprpo machine did well even though equal to 70d, with which I was already very well in holding it, both the two machines to get the best need optics at the top, certainly 18/55 they have given me in the kit can not work miracles, which cmq I'll keep in your bag in case, you never know, block or defect sudden my Sigma EX 17/50 f2.8 ... proven x video, which was a functions that interested me, is also super them, autofocus once set properly during shooting is smooth and precise, the video clips are clean up to 3200 iSO, in addition there is a slight noise that cmq not bother, certainly it does not go beyond a certain limit, cmq movies up to iSO 3200/4000 are made quietly .... Recommended for high quality photos, and for people like me will use it to film, .......

Pros: sharpness, shutter speed, touch screen, customization, af adjustment and tropical conditions, focus points, colors, iso resistance, focus

Cons: Lack according sd slot

Opinion: great body, come from a canon 600d and I'm really thrilled! I also had the 70d for a week, unfortunately with the famous problem with shooting in live view, the picture was slightly move. The 80d is distinguished from the 45 focus points, between which the central is optimized for lenses with an aperture to f2.8 and higher! the focusing speed is really satisfying, hardly will find it hard to focus on any object! frankly, to high iso, in raw, I was able to do the same beautiful shots and recover them! convinced me on all aspects, really unfortunate for the second sd slot, would be the top! rnDel rest, excellent videos, beautiful photos (of course you need to know to use it and be very creative) I like having the choice to shoot even with the 'jpeg option more raw L or M or S! very useful this option! Another aspect, and much imported, is the battery life! after 1600 clicks I was at 66% !!!! just battery pack kills arms or shoulders! with such a small battery you can do services photo without fear or fear of running out of battery! rnconsigliatissima! unfortunately the price is a bit 'high, but doing some photo shoot here and there, little shelf I'm recovering some money, delivering to customers exciting shots and full of quality, even at night!

Pros: Af 45 areas, central point also works af 8, touchscreen, wifi, two sections personabili C.tropicalizzata.

Cons: No one, for now.

Opinion: I wanted to do an upgrade of the 60d and 80d with this (skipping the 70d) rnNe are entusiasta.rnrnAf 45 responsive areas, central point -3 eV (identical to 6d) does not suffer much at high ISO, the 24 MP sensor makes clean files and well definiti.rnTouchscreen intuitive and useful (now we get addicted to smartphones and various keys are superfluous) rnWiFi for me very useful for sending files from eos to a Smartphone or pc..rnRaffica veloce.rnrnIl body looks solid and well cared for , rnManeggevole and not too heavy, even when used with bg.rnrnIl only the body I bought € 900, € 150 more than the 70d, which all in all for a machine with 4 years of technology innovation does not seem excessive ... .rnNon I can express an opinion about the video section as there are interessato.rnrnConsigliata to those who want a complete APSC, with fast burst and semiprofessionale.rnrn -------------- Note of last now: rnHo equipped the 80d of bg not original, rnSeppur used two original canon battery, rnSul displey of eos appears to me the written non-original batteries. (This is with cabbage !!!!60d 6d with which it had never happened ....) rnInoltre the display shows the charge status of the batteria.rnTolto bg and functional tests on the two batteries everything works correttamente.rn _--------- ------- rnrn

Pros: Autofocus very responsive even in low light conditions, the central AF with Extender 1.4x, file workability even at high ISO, shadow recovery, 7 shots per second, touchscreen, tracking of video, timelapse, HDR, swivel screen

Cons: Perhaps the lack of customizability of the keys, start stop button does not immediatissimo.

Opinion: I chose this camera mainly for improvements offering me than my super used 60D (which still continuing to hold as a second body). The difference on the field autofocus and burst is remarkable. In low light, using the center point (also with the Extender) can focus in difficult conditions and also problems (such as through branches and foliage). The focus is very fast and very precise. I shot at ISO also very high and the quality of the files is substantial, also the recovery of the shadows does not distort the color as in files on which I was used to working. All other features are a plus for a passionate amateur like me. I really found a complete camera "" and all-rounder at 100%.

Pros: AF module, WB to white priority, M exposure compensation with ISO AUTO and new sensor.

Cons: It makes videos in 4K

Opinion: The real news stà in bright AF module that is well distributed on the frame, with essential points, and that some of these also work to f8. Then there is the new dual pixel sensor 24mpx that 20mpx compared to the 70D, is a small step forward. These two updates convinced me to replace the temporary 760D which could be multiplied only with a kenko, but the results have not always been optimal with canon 400 5.6L USM and Canon 100 400 L IS USM II. 80D now seems to be born for the 'coupled canon 100 400 II and Canon EF 1.4x III where everything works perfectly, QUICKLY and accurately. For now I tried it only in sports and photographic safari when needed the multiplier factor of 1.6x Aps-c.

Pros: AF highly responsive even on the side, with well-distributed points MAF, touchscreen

Cons: Quiet shutter release is not silent, ISO 6400 maximum limit, price

Opinion: I own the 80D just before the summer but I have not used a lot, I still had a good idea compared to my previous Canon 6D and 50D. The thing I like most is the speed and responsiveness of the AF system: top performer 50D where it was still decent and the same goes for the 6D especially on the side (for us Central on the same level). A real treat to use the touch screen to change the point of the fly MAF and over / under exposure. A note of thanks also on good dynamic range slightly higher than the 6D with a good workable files. The good optical 80D wants to look great. The cons I have described above and the most annoying thing on my mind is finely tuned sound that is practically equal to the normal shooting. Recommended facts except against.

Pros: Fast both in writing and in AF, good coupling even in poor light, a couple of new useful options, stands up well against the light

Cons: Missing the joystick, just soft keys still, silent snap little quiet and indistinguishable from normal in LV, START / STOP button unresponsive

Opinion: I'm not good at writing reviews, having had the 60D 70D (sold that had one year) especially with the 70 I never had a good relationship, bought for second best (or one or 7dmk2) for birds I found suffered terribly slow both in writing and in low-light where I think it was even worse than the 60D despite having the same center point in EV, I can say that the 80D here satisfies me is reactive on the right dark, the write speed is really another planet, I have a 85 mB Transcend SDHC U3 / s (write) the same that I used with the 70 and the difference is abysmal * until the card arrives to be almost saturated then the performance collapse * .L 'SERVO AF all in all you dingitoso (with all 45 pt little actually), you have to live with it a little bit, sometimes leaves you amazed sometimes half volley goes out of focus, perhaps with a firmware update can improve it a little. The customization of the keys is the usual (slightlybetter but a nothing) policy that Canon does not let you set the keys as you would like, you know what it costs to do so, the menus have been repainted, but honestly were not those problems to be solved, the 'ISO car has been improved sharply (or so it seems) than before, convenient that you can set a minimum shutter speed in AV. In short, the Canon has patched most of the problems in an honest way without overdoing it as usual

Pros: light weight, easy to handle, excellent performance at high ISO, the remarkable touch screen capabilities, tracking auto focus on movies, tap-and-shoot fast, intuitive menus, information after shooting finally complete, swivel screen and foldable inside, file with bright colors and clean, bulb timer, time lapse, AWB in white priorities,

Cons: flash transmitter seems more optical wireless. too widened autofocus points. User very thin paper instructions. long time to save images on the card. Position pdc button, battery consumption, CR2 files not readable by all software

Opinion: After a couple of weeks I got to know the 80D, I have not regretted buying despite overcharge. The important thing is the quality of the high ISO sensor: very good, I would say better than the 5D Mark III that I use regularly. Well tested at events and I must say it's a great evening machine. Clearly there is noise, but the difference is that in PP is much easier to correct the excessive grain mainly by varying clarity and luminance are obtained with a photo reportage that aspect that quite satisfies. The built-in flash is a nice trinket to which I was not used, and when I remember that there is, if you need it, use it in e-ttl, smorzandolo a bit with the car in manual exposure, indoor, returns a sharp picture , balanced on the colors well, especially for close-ups. The same flash should handle external flash, acting as a wireless transmitter .... now if you are accustomed to using a Canon ST-E3-RT or one Yongnuo YN-E3-RT, forget to be able to gestire similar things. First the paper manual supplied with the machine, there is no trace of these functions, I found it in English here: http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0/0300022720/01/EOS_80D_Instruction_Manual_EN.pdf# page227 where there is a nice little sign saying: "the camera's master function can not be used for wireless flash photography with radio transmission" ........ so no flash RT !!!! Our bei RT 600 or other similar cinesate not be, unless they are not set at OPTICAL mode, and infrared. Anyway, you can also manage multiple flash and the transmitter can set the power, clear the built-in flash, but also those outside, if put into manual. Sorry if this is not clear but I have understood and experienced, I await your comments. Moving on to the wireless LAN function works well because it allows you to manage and transfer shots with the phone quickly, easily activated once coupled the connection request. insteadthe DLNA function is really laughable (even this is not explained in the manual) as you can see, for example. on TV, only jpeg images, no raw and no movies. Autofocus: on movies works fine, by touching the screen, quickly focuses and keeps the focus when the subject moves, the pictures, in LV you can activate the function touch-and-shoot, fast and effective, especially when the machine in hand to someone and not have to explain what the squares AF viewfinder, just tell him, in fact, touches and snaps. Always AF known that if I select nine squares in the viewfinder becomes a bit 'pushy, meaning they take up too big, and often activate all nine and framing eg, some first floor, are forced to set a single point, if I want to be sure that area, and only that, was in focus. Choose cmq mode of focus different, up to the automatic one to 45 points. The keys are the usual ones, missing the joystick, and tasto PDC, which I use instead to pass ONE SHOT> AI SERVO, it is very difficult to "feel" as put in an unlucky position, I can not even get us the habit. The 4 buttons on the top right panel, AF DRIVE ISO etc. They are intuitive and NOT a double function as in the 5D which create confusion. I appreciated that among the custom controls of the buttons is possible to set the SET button on the FLASH function, which was not there on the 5d, and is convenient because it allows you to get to the built-in flash settings without going through 3 screens the menu. Finally snapping repeatedly see that the red LED at the sd card, always hard to go out and is often slow in writing to a card, despite the use of an SDHC II 150MB / s. I have not tried to "pull" on the edge of 7fps, but I have my doubts about the performance from this point of vista.rnUna last thing on the touch functions, it is useful to say that they are very comfortable, now the habit is quella, in fact after you makes it hard to go back on a non-touch machine. The ability to zoom in, zoom scroll through the photos, navigate the menus are all touch. I think they work very well. It seems to me a complete and versatile aps-c car, and, I might add, that coming from a FFrame, I enjoyed the new life of my EF, my old 135 becomes a 216, a 50 quite a short telephoto for portraits 80mm and so on. Possible to vary the white balance from automatic to "automatic white priority", which means that also will attempt to maintain a clean white under tungsten light, and ... works. More I can not think for the moment. I hope to be of help for your choice or curiosity.
