Pros: Ergonomics and Image Quality

Cons: Partly the autofocus

Opinion: Now I have owned it for 2 years and I have really used it in every context and I can only talk about it positively. The ergonomics are really good, canon style and the quality of the images even at high ISO seems to me not to disfigure compared to products of other brands. Excellent viewfinder. The autofocus is good, with many 7d mark II style settings, but it depends a lot on the type of lens used. Sometimes it's not very accurate. The lens that fits well with this camera is the Canon 50 1.2. He expresses with him all his wide possibilities of image quality. I sometimes use its video potential, only in manual, however. With the LOG profiles it has it seems to me to emulate the video quality of an excellent video camera. I think it will remain in my backpack for a long time, certainly for the price but also because I do not see competitors really able to undermine it. I am for the optical viewfinder while not ideally being a conservative. If you find it at a good price, do not think twice about buying it.

Pros: 30 megapixels, dynamic range, AF responsiveness, command and button arrangement in line with what is proposed with 5d Mk III and 7D MkII (you feel immediately at ease), Wi-Fi and GPS presence, touch screen monitor.

Cons: Non-swivel display (maybe) and then nothing relevant.

Opinion: Purchased a few weeks ago, I immediately felt comfortable in managing the commands and the various menus, also owning the evergreen 5d Mark III etc., etc. You notice something good compared to what is proposed with the older sister and see how it is more reactive both in the af and to rise from the energy stand-by. The 30 megapixels are the right compromise, neither few nor exaggerated, even if the 21 of the mark III are already enough, but for the crop it is an extra advantage. The non-adjustable and tiltable monitor was until recently (See 1DX Mk III) the choice of canon for its professional, but the presence of wi-fi that allows you to control the machine through the mobile phone monitor, manages to fill the gap. What to say, well made in the style 5D style and performing. Highly recommended in my opinion even in the mirrorless era for the faithful of reflex vision.

Pros: Image quality, construction, optical viewfinder.

Cons: Lack of swivels display, lack of autofocus on the eyes of animals.

Opinion: I have always felt good with this camera, already impugnadola has an exceptional ergonomics, and you immediately feel the robustness and quality of the excellent materials that Canon has used. It has an optical viewfinder among the best in its range, and a fairly good autofocus, its strong point is the image quality even at high ISO, with exceptional colors and shadow recovery, in addition to having the dual pixel raw. Hard to replace for me.

Pros: For now only positive things

Cons: I read about raw files not excellent, personally I see them vouchers possibly recoverable in pp.

Opinion: I did the whole 5D scale up to KIII which because of me fell off the easel and the repair cost more than the market value. I was fought between the R6 and the 5D MKIV in the end I chose the latter because of the ease of use knowing most of the functions. I find the focus fast and safe and the display view just as good. Comfortable touch. I would generally use it for macro photos both with the 100 f2.8 Canon and with the 180 f2.8 Sigma I would say perfect. I did other tests with 70/200 and 24/105, in all cases I found the result very valid. In a nutshell from what I could test even if it has not been in my hands for many days, I am totally satisfied.

Pros: I have been using this camera with great satisfaction for some years now. I find it perfect and complete with everything you could want. He's got it all.

Cons: I found no fault or deficiencies.

Opinion: Use almost exclusively for macro photography (Canon EF 100mm lens f/2.8 L Macro IS USM) and on the stand. I read that Canon abandons the reflex sector to focus on Mirrorless. Too bad. I was waiting for the EOS 5D Mark V... that won't come. Mirrorless don't convince me. The on-screen electronic image doesn't have the same beauty and security as that through the lens.

Pros: Almost everything

Cons: slowing down storing images in burst shots, but maybe it depends more on the various tabs

Opinion: Used for four years in all shooting conditions. A real mule. He never left me on the street. Amazing AF and excellent color rendering. ISO manageable up to 50,000, but in rare extreme conditions. Shameful silent shot, one of the various reasons why I had to opt for R system. For the rest you can move quietly between ceremonies, sports, shooting etc. etc. etc. Its internal wi-fi in conjunction with the Camera Connect App, allowed me to work quickly and with great satisfaction its excellent jpegs. I haven't shot in raw for many years, I don't miss it and this machine gives excellent compression while maintaining excellent colors and range.

Pros: Ergonomics, reliability, accuracy, touch screen, good AF, soft RAW, battery life (when used carefully)

Cons: Price a little high, otherwise nothing

Opinion: I went from 6D to 5DMK4 and it was a certainly high quality leap. I've been using it for a few years and so far I haven't found any flaws that made me regret buying it. I am using it with great satisfaction with various Canon and Sigma lenses in various situations and photographic (non-professional) areas and I can get out files that are always good and easily workable. You work quite well even in the backlight. As an amateur I can say that it is a very good body that sins only in the price a little high. Maybe I understand little about it, but in my opinion the dynamic range is excellent, even or even superior to Nikon (I can say this as I was old owner Nikon).

Pros: Ergonomics, dynamic range, RAW file workability and all the other things that made the 5D series a small myth

Cons: Nothing relevant, perhaps the orientable screen

Opinion: Getting to 5D after the 60D 6D MKII that I loved is still amazing. A fantastic grip, little weight, robustness, dynamic range. The touch screen is a great thing and helps a lot in different situations. It has come to me for just over a week, we are studying, however I promise to increase my small contribution both positively and negatively if needed.

Pros: Body, AF Excellent, dynamic range, high ISO noise management, Wi-Fi and GPS, touch screen, RAW files really very malleable, double slot CF and SD

Cons: Battery life (you download first and you have to be careful not to leave the Wi-Fi active)

Opinion: I was happy possessor of the 5D (old) who accompanied me in the world of FF, after a few years I switched to the 5D Mark II (still in my possession) and I used both the Mark III and the 5DS, the 5D Mark IV is worthy heir to the aforementioned machines , ergonomics is unchanged and finally has a sensor in step with the timing with a dynamic range worthy of a PRO and a file management in excellent post. CANON is always a guarantee in my opinion is missing nothing, the only flaw that I found is the battery life, especially with the various features active, I think I'll have to be more careful.

Pros: Canon 5 Series Body, Dynamic Range, 30 Megapixel, Resolution, image Quality, Touch Screen, AF Module, Burst, Ergonomics, Wi-Fi and GPS, Tropicalization

Cons: Price, maybe more operating speed, sometimes on continuous shots with two cards there is a Lag (slowing image storage)

Opinion: A great camera, as for the rest of the series 5 Canon. Sturdy, solid, well-balanced... A tank-reinforced in short, that from the point of view of the quality of materials and assemblages never disappoints. I also own a Mark3, already excellent as a machine and very similar to this upgrade but boasts a sensor with more dynamic range, more resolution, an AF even more sensitive and responsive and 1fps more, as well as features such as Wi-Fi and GPS and touch screen. Personally I do not use Wi-Fi, GPS but I find the touch quite useful to see immediately the MAF of the image. With Canon L lenses reaches top quality crazy, that if they play even with the most powerful sensors Sony (really a great job of Canon on the sensor), while on the ISO and the crunchiness of the image I personally continue to prefer Canon, Especially on skin complexion and delicate tones. It is also true that with the custom profiles and with the RAW you can do everything today. I tried little the new mirrorless and I must say that will certainly be the future, but unfortunately I do not find myself with the electronic viewfinder and with all the technological features of the case, maybe in the future I'll be adept, but today as I stay in the house Canon , which always guarantees me performance and top bodies, great assistance and unreachable quality lenses. Perhaps the only "flaw" of the Mark 4 price (high, but it is used in many stores) and one thing I noticed working in RAW with 2 cards the operating speed and lag for long bursts (nothing dramatic anyway). Excellent update of the MARK3 in the field of reportage, marriage, portraiture, still life and also photographic hunting. Today as today I consider it without a doubt the best DSLR machine at 360 ° in Canon Home and not only...

Pros: File Quality, dynamic range, ISO seal, autofocus, live View, ergonomics, menu, touch

Cons: Nothing relevant

Opinion: I use it with great satisfaction by more than one annetto, a really good handyman in all respects. AF Module Excellent, detailed file, excellent high ISO, a GD that allows me to work without any mood, the live view that does not need comments, the menu is the typical Canon simple and easy to navigate. The battery life was criticized, as far as I am concerned, with the BG and 2 batteries, I do 2300 shots of which a 35/40% in live view and I still have autonomy. Promoted with full marks, also considering the price at which I had it, €2400 new with official guarantee.

Pros: File quality, dynamic range, iso seal, Autofocus, live view

Cons: Burst speed - 10fps would have been perfect - battery lasts a little and lack of orientable screen

Opinion: I've been using it for a long time now and I really find it a perfect machine for my needs. An excellent all-rounder with excellent image quality, a high iso estate, I can push myself without too much patemi up to 12800iso maintaining a good detail obviously not in conditions of pitch dark and a dynamic range finally noteworthy... it won't be the top but for me what it offers is all runny fat. The first time I opened a raw file of his I immediately noticed how much elasticity and maneuverability allowed in post compared to my old and glorious 5d2... didn't seem true to me. I've also noticed a certain softness of the files compared to those of the grandfather, but it is easy to remedy by increasing the sharpness. I mean, it's a whole other way of working... You just have to be careful not to overdo it in recoveries and other similar amentià to not fall into the trap of fake photos and with unnatural effects - something that with 5d2 was practically impossible to do. The Af department is excellent, much more stable and less nervous than that of the 7d2 in my possession. A real sniper... if I'm wrong it's not the fault of the SLR but only mine. The live view with the touch screen is exceptional. Focus in the dark, even with nd1000 filters, which is implausible with 5d2, shot with touch that is a real treat, good responsiveness in both one shot and ai-servo. Had it had the tiltable or snout-mannaggia Canon screen - it would have been perfect, especially for macro photos. Good battery but not great... the 5d2 consumed much less. Video side I do not express myself as I never use for this purpose. Anyway I'm excited about it and I would do a thousand times the choice I made a year ago, with my eyes closed.

Pros: Lightness, ergonomics, dynamic range, RAW file elasticity

Cons: Value for money, file sharpness, battery life, speed and AF reactivity.

Opinion: I am possessor of the Canon 5d Mark IV for a few months, in which I got to test it at work and I must say I am quite disappointed. It has a bad value for money, I have had a lot of SLR cameras including the 5d III which in some respects is even better. Also the next to the flagship 1DX old, which despite being much less young is 10 spans above (dynamic range apart). I vote 8/10 and I was very generous!!

Pros: Almost everything.

Cons: Battery life. Screen is not adjustable.

Opinion: Let me assume I don't make videos. My opinion is only and exclusively about photography. Right from the start it was love at first touch. Handy body and very well finished and robust... it conveys safety and reliability "Which I can't say about the 6D mark ii even though it's a great machine I still own" The camera once set up and made the right setups is very rare that can disappoint you. Perfect in almost any situation. Maybe for fauna and sport it is not very suitable but it knows how to do its part. The files are a bit pasty " as I like them " also very easy to work in pp. The AF is very responsive never disappoints... and in extreme situations it almost always comes to the fore. Very good dynamic range. Delicate and well manageable high ISOs especially in pp. The mark iv is a 30.4 mega pixel machine that doesn't hurt at all... Especially when there is to do crop. I read a lot of "negative" reviews comparing the mark iv to the mark iii. That then many admit that: The Dynamic Range is better. IMPROVED ISOs. improved shutter. Improved pixels. AF improved. Touch-screen. Wi-FI and GPS etc. All this logically has a cost... And € 3000.00 are not few!! I recommend this camera to everyone. If you can buy it you will not be disappointed! There are many zero-rate promotions on the web. Or wait for the right time. If you then have the possibility to mount L series lenses or the ART series. Sigma... it's like always falling to your feet. I will end by giving a vote of 9.9 just because it lacks the adjustable screen that in some situations could come in handy. And the battery doesn't last very long... here canon let me down a little bit. Better if you get a few more drums. Then otherwise it's a beautiful car! Good light.

Pros: Af, shutter quietness, dimamic range

Cons: Slightly more flat raw files than MkIII

Opinion: Just taken and immediately tested, I mainly use the camera for birdlife on birds, with 2 lenses, the Canon 600mm F4L is/USM or the 400mm f 5.6, the thing that immediately pleased me is that the MkIV with the 600mm focuses immediately, moving from distant subjects and moving I on subjects at 5/6 meters The MkIV focuses immediately even with little light, the MKIII often crashed and did not find the focus, it is a test in my opinion to be reckoned with, the canvases so pushed are important exams for a camera body and the MKIV has exceeded With flying colors. Other advantage I noticed in pp much less noise, or better to say it has a much finer grain than the MKIII, it is true that the raw files come out more flat than the MKIII, but I worked with Lightroom a 10ina and exported file see an improvement over the MKIII , in summary who regrets the MKIII because he took the MKIV and does not know how to do a bit of post-production The problem is not the machine, but of those who use it, the post-production in digital is at least 50% of the photo, we are almost in 2020 and if you want photos at the top you have to adapt even with the V Ari programs, such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Captur etc...

Pros: The pros of all series 5, Live View, AF, malleability of the file.

Cons: Less crisp Raw than the 5d3, price on the new, is not the best that the market offers

Opinion: What to say is a reliable and satisfactory machine, the construction is great, the AF and excellent in Live view and not. The raw is less sharp than the 5D3 but the finished file, with good workmanship, is certainly better from all points of view. Lets do everything and do it right! It's not the best on the market, there are camera bodies that are definitely better than you but this is the Canon policy that makes you pay not only the camera body but the system (body set machines, quality lenses at great prices, assistance etc) that personally is the Main reason why I don't look seriously elsewhere for the moment! The price on the new is still high, personally I would not spend over 2500 on the new. His vote is, if we consider the camera body itself, an 8 but if we look at the complex I'd say 9.

Pros: Better noise grain, pose latitude, white balance, dynamic range

Cons: Slight drop in raw sharpness compared to 5DM3

Opinion: I come from 5DM3, before the purchase I had read several opinions discordant in the reviews that had made me hesitant about his purchase. After more than a month of use I consider myself satisfied for the different steps carried out albeit with some cons. I start from the advantages less striking than the valid 5DM3: There has been a clear improvement in white balance, almost never to be retouching in post, the colors I appear truthful already at the first shot. The AF seems more reliable though the previous was already commendable. The dynamic range has been expanded. NET instead the step forward in the quality of noise and latitude of pose: Not that the noise has disappeared from the previous model but the grain of the same is much finer and with almost no chrominance. Also finally the workability on the shadows is satisfactory for me, retrieve them in post does not generate the immediate presence of noise even at low ISO as it was on the 5dm3 (except that a good shot should already be born well exposed). In my view instead the new sensor has lost in sharpness, the raw are born less "crunching", less engraved than the 5DM3, however the detail can be recovered in post. The usability is substantially unchanged, the transition from 5DM3 is immediate and does not disorient, the addition of the Change button of the type change of AF area benefits the speed of shooting, useful and sensitive to the touch display. Basically for those who used Canon, the feeling is always high. I do not express myself on WiFi, GPS as well as the video compartment that I do not use. Ultimately if you can afford the shopping it is a change that I would recommend.

Pros: Sturdy Body, good gust. Improved dynamic range, touch-screen screen sometimes very comfortable

Cons: Apart from the price that absolutely does not justify switching from Mk3 to mk4 the file in my view of MK4 is softer than the MK3.

Opinion: I was very disappointed by this 5D MK4, the beautiful file "crisp" of the MK3 we forget, this file needs, for those who are capable of passages obliged with post production. I Could go back without losing a lot of money I'd do it right away. If you have advice to improve the file are absolutely welcome. Update of March 2019 After a few months of use the situation has improved, you have to live with this file that needs a good post-production, in the end the file is clearly superior in everything, but the feeling with this really complete machine is not Arrived.

Pros: ROBUSTNESS - SPEED - DYNAMIC RANGE SLIGHTLY IMPROVED COMPARED TO THE MKIII - VERY USEFUL TOUCH DISPLAY

Cons: Price

Opinion: I COME FROM THE USE OF THE 5D MARK III - I DO NOT FIND ANY IMPROVEMENTS THAT MAKE IT NECESSARY TO MOVE TO THE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE 5DMKIV - THE 30 MP DOES NOT SEEM TO GIVE GREAT IMPROVEMENT - LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT THE RAW DUAL PIXEL - IN ALL FRANKNESS, TO DATE, I HAVE NOT YET ACHIEVED RESULTS THAT MAKE ME FULLY SATISFIED. I NOW REGRET MY 6D FIRST SERIES, OF WHICH I CAN ONLY SAY ALL THE GOOD POSSIBLE.

Pros: Price practically halved, is located at just over 2000 euros, autofocus

Cons: Results looking at the image at 100% to say the least embarrassing, lower than the 6d not to mention the same optics on the Sony A9 and A7R3

Opinion: I have it for a few days and I'm trying it with Canon Optics and Sigma Art (85 1.2 L Canon latest series and Sigma Art 24-70 2.8) the photos seen at 100% lack definition in all shooting situations and at every Aperture. Won't that actually use 3 million pixel media, like it's a compact one-inch? I have to try it in dual pixel raw, but it does not seem a suitable solution for all those who do not want to post produce photos... proven for an outdoor session in dual pixel raw, the quality improves considerably, but I confirm the opinion that you can not use in no mode Rmale. Now on the net is even a little more than 1800 euros

Pros: I think it is an object that represents a technical reference standard that can be exploited in both professional and amateur practice.

Cons: Nothing worth highlighting.

Opinion: I use the 5d Mark IV all year round, with all the weather conditions... and I must say that I have never had difficulties that prevented me from giving up some shots. The magic of this machine is that I find everything in the right place is as if the commands were an extension of my fingers! If I have to be honest, I think that not having the adjustable LCD screen can be a limit for some types of photography, but this becomes a value in the optics of robustness and reliability. For all those who have uncertainties... I can suggest that you do not give up this jewel that will make your memories beautifully represented.

Pros: Resolution, autofocus and latitude of laying

Cons: Number of shots per second

Opinion: Bought recently to replace my beloved Mark III. There are no major differences in the layout of the keys, so "the feeling is immediate". The resolution is really perceptible, really creating a furrow from the previous model. Very comfortable the touch menu that instantly allows you to enlarge the photo just taken and understand any errors. The laying latitude has improved and the Esposimebtro is quite precise (+/-1/3 stop must be almost always correct). I have thought a lot about whether these differences are so important to justify the purchase by the owners of the Mark III. I think so for the resolution connoisseurs and proper monitor holders. The autofocus is very high performance (not like the Dx Mark Io), but 2 or 3 more FPS would have made it almost perfect.

Pros: Dynamic range, holding ISO 30 mp

Cons: 4 k at 30 frames per second

Opinion: Excellent room, immediate feeling looked identical commands to the 5 d mark II, which is very convenient the touch screen for navigating the menu and scrolling images. I was afraid of 30mp, since I do many weddings and reportage, but I immediately changed my mind is the right balance between resolution and ability to crop without losing much detail, of course must be coupled with high quality optics. The dynamic range and sensitivity high ISO capabilities are significantly improved from the younger sister the 5 d III, second only to 1DX mark II. GPS and WiFi did not use them, but they could be helpful in certain circumstances. In the video, I was impressed with the accuracy and reliability of the dual-pixel AF a bomb! While I was a bit disappointed for only 30 fps in 4 k. Conclusions: excellent machine, much more perdormante of 5 d III a difference you can see and feel. If you want to upgrade from 5 d III do not hesitate minimante!

Pros: Recovering shadows and ease of manipulation, improving light meter, touch

Cons: Maybe lacking in 4 k video but not making videos.

Opinion: a few weeks ago I replaced my 5d3 with 105,000 shots and I switched to the mkiv. As a second body I decided to hold my 5 d 2, with 30,000 shots and that anyway for certain types of photos still has a lot to say. The body is slightly smaller and lighter than previous versions, quieter shutter. The resistive touch screen is convenient and "spoils" for (taking in hands other bodies it is natural to use your fingers to flip through photos, menus etc, as we do now with many other device). Interesting shooting in live v by tapping the screen. Wi-Fi and connection are another upgrade. The gps I do very little. The menus are pretty much unchanged as well as the location of the keys that allows you to open the box and get up and running in seconds without having to study manuals. In the viewfinder, you can insert the electronic level in addition to many other info that may help in the composition. The gust speed has made great strides compared to the mkiii. Where do I find instead much difference is on the reliability of the meter. I took moltebfoto backlight and the results were excellent. Never wrong and post retrieving well light and shade. The 30 MP you notice it when you are saving files in jpg remember to lower the resolution a bit otherwise it becomes difficult to even publish the same on juza because you exceed 20 MB easily granted and then reopen the file to save them a bit lighter. The definition helps naturally in crop. Getting file so detailed I realized that the 79-200 2.8 ii wasn't as accurate as I thought. A Room Service tour along with the body made me an exceptional combination. It's well worth the change from 3 to 4. I say Yes. There are many differences. Clear, as I have already said in the introduction, that some photographs, get even with the mk2, especially with lenses like the 135 l optimal under certain lighting conditions, I think it's impossible to tell the difference. However, in low light, tough contrasts, etc, has 4 gears. I had been tempted to take a 1dx2 used, but not doing sport and BirdLife have preferred to take a new body that still turns out to be a very good handyman, without distorting in all genres. Indeed. Today is well below the 3,000 euros and I think it's worth them all.

Pros: Dynamic range and sensor in general, high-seals, autofocus

Cons: Video 4k only at 30fps (I'm not a videomaker so for me it's not a real problem), otherwise nothing, the price I think is correct for a handyman like that

Opinion: After being owner of his arzilla "grandmother" (canon 5dmk2) for 5 years I decided to make the economic sacrifice, not indifferent, landing on this gem red and white.rnrnPratico a little 'all in all kinds of photography but in recent years more and more sports photography, in which his ancestor always showed me his side. rnrnThe first impression in the hand seemed to me of a worse ergonomics for the recess of the handle slightly different than the 2. A few days of use and I changed my mind, all the controls are perfectly arranged and I greatly appreciated both the new buttons and the customization dell'af.rnrnThe combination of the latter with the new burst at 7fps left me really satisfied, both in terms of accuracy and reliability / speed.rnThe fifty and other optics "difficult" that I was thinking of selling are finally reborn thanks to this machine.rnrn As for the sensor bé, I was pleasantly surprised. At low iso the mk2 tiene head very well and it seems almost more incisive but as soon as you play a little with the sliders for the various recoveries or you climb with sensitivity the gap becomes really remarkable! rnrnBrava canon, fully satisfied! rnrn rnrn

Pros: AF, Dynamic Range

Cons: poor reliability compared to the high price

Opinion: ... just taken the new 5d mk4 on Ebay, arrived new and packed, after making a hundred shots, it is stuck with the error "Err 20" and there was nothing to do (type off and remove the battery etc ...), so I had to open a return procedure on Ebay that luckily went well. My impression on the shots I have made with this camera is that the raw that pulls out are a little 'mids, you have to exaggerate with the sharpness cursor on LR, and so comes the noise that you have to compensate with the luminance control ... this procedure of course trouble to do it with files taken from 3200 iso up ... boh, it seems to me that even better 6D old high-ISO, then excuse me, surely you will mock me if I tell you that I found myself far from the result "effect wow "that gave me the old 1DSmk2 .... in short, I will not take it back, also because I have not found this great evolution compared to previous models, the dual pixel Raw in my opinion is difficultusable entity, it is almost useless and it is only a commercial gimmick, the impossibility of reading the exposure on the selected spot is a big lack and the delicacy of the mechanics (Err20 say it is an error due to the mechanics, maybe it must to be broken something in the mechanism of moving the mirror, not in the shutter that by Err30) are things that, in my opinion, in a NEW machine that costs more than 3500 euros in the price list are not acceptable ...

Pros: excellent files, lighter than the MKIII, resolution and dynamic range noticeably improved, speed of focus, excellent noise management

Cons: higher battery consumption than the MKIII, always and only 3 configuration options, 4K video but only at 30FPS, the keys are still not backlit

Opinion: If we make a comparison with the military world the MKIV would be the equivalent of a modern tank: efficient, precise, technologically very valid and resistant.rnI meant to be in love with it immediately and coming from the MKIII the passage was really painless and the difference in not easy conditions such as low light makes you feel in favor of MKIV.rnVimi files RAW and good video files in 4K at 30fps as well as at 1080p at 60fps.rnSurely the dynamic range is not yet close to the majesty of Nikon or some Fuji but the step forward has been and feels.rnBonus cute the screen has become multi-touch that in some cases is also very convenient and intuitive (see the pinch to zoom as on mobile phones) but that unfortunately is not adjustable, fact that it certainly makes it more resistant in case of impact but very inconvenient to shoot in particular positions (like a lot above the head).

Pros: Dynamic range, autofocus, high iso, joystik, touch screen

Cons: nothing

Opinion: I come from a 6d I kept .. !! What to say first thing I've noticed the amazing autofocus .. fast-paced does not mistake a shot, the second the dynamic range greatly improved compared to the 6d old, solid car an exceptional handyman, you do sports, landscapes, events, practically everything ....without problems. The 30 pixel shifts I would call "the right balance" too few or few perfect raw files, too little, with the possibility of cropping without worry too! Rn a machine that works well in all situations my main machine. Canon colors top !!

Pros: A significant step forward compared to the already good 5D mk III (dynamic range, iso hold, autofocus, color rendering, touch monitor)

Cons: For now nobody

Opinion: I have read and reviewed all the reviews that are on the net and I have followed the threads of many forums, but despite the many favorable opinions, I have been undecided on purchasing to the end. The idea of ??retiring my trust in 5D mkIII did not like me and I was convinced that with this new model, I would not have substantial benefits. I was wrong! After several months of use, I can say that mkIV is superior, and not least, to the "old" mkIII: improved performance, dynamic range and improved ISO hold, sensor with higher resolution and touch screen. Great surprise was the color rendering of the new sensor! I loved the 1Ds mkIII for its files with an "analog" footprint and extremely natural colors (a feature unknown to Canon sensors of subsequent generations), with mkIV FINALLY being the right path.

Pros: Big hold, dynamic range, always precise and reliable focus, general ergonomics

Cons: Mancaza spot reading on the spot I focus like in any Canon no 1d, 4k video on the entire sensor

Opinion: I've been using it for 8 months, shooting in nightclubs, evenings, but for pure passion or different evenings. It always takes a shot at home, it's really a machine you can trust, even with the sigma art lens with which with the old body I thought I had calibration focusing problems now with this I understand that there are no problems and It is absolutely wrong unless it is wrong. I have not yet exploited the possibilities of this machine 100% and sometimes I get lost in the menu pages because of all available options. I think that with regard to pure photography if you do not need 14 fps it is also in front of the older sister 1dx.

Pros: Improved in all respect to the 5D mk III, same feeling of extreme reliability and reliability, standard Wi-Fi and GPS, Touch Monitor.

Cons: I would have wanted a bit more buffer for burst shots.

Opinion: Tested in various fields such as photographic hunting, daytime, nighttime, close up and portraiture certainly does not regret the 5D III. Improved effectively at ISO level especially on chrominance and banding noise, the AF module works with ALL points 100-400 II + canon 1.4x III (fast and reliable coupling). The touch monitor I expected anxiously as I was used to the 80D, now 30 mpx and 7 fps have put me in trouble, I no longer know if I prefer 80D in photo shoot! Rn GPS, Wi Fi and 4K video are things Which I do not need but there are and maybe sometimes I will exploit it. The only thing is that Canon declares up to 21 consecutive shots, but actually crashing to the highest resolution at 12-13 to increase the buffer, it has to set more resolutions Basse.rnThese improvements make the camera even more extreme, especially for those who do ceremonies, indoor sports, birdlife and night photos, for now I'm very happy because I found it used at km 0 under the same conditions. :-) rn

Pros: Noise, ISO, AF, solidity, perfect in hand with or without BG, white balance, etc.

Cons: Nobody.

Opinion: Waiting (waiting, waiting ...) the 6D MkII, in the end I decided to take the 5DIV. Autofocus that offers you a chance and that, in my opinion, works well and already tested in some events (self-moto) with my battle lens, EF 100-400 L II, also multiplied with Ef 1.4x III. The touch monitor is perfect and I do not find the menus complicated, indeed. RAW files are easy to work (I use, little and bad, DPP). I find the new button added very comfortable. Just so, but for my unimaginable use, the snapshot noise, even in silent mode, but still in the standard for reflexes. I do not make videos. Great car ... ;-) ------------ rnrnEdit: ... great car really made me clean in the outfit and buy a twin found a few clicks (less than 3000) at a good price. It is a bit back to the old analogical times when I photographed by profession and I had 2 identical bodies (A1 / T90 / EOS1 / EOS1New).

Pros: Enhance the performance of the already great 5D3. Good burst, excellent dynamic range, incredible AF, high-end display, touch screen, gps, wifi, dual pixel AF for video.

Cons: Lack of spot display on all AF points, unbalanced display, 4k video only at 30fps, no fullHD video at 120fps, exaggerated battery consumption. Price is definitely too high.

Opinion: Replaces 5D3 after 4 years of glorious use around the world. The baked file is even more malleable than the one already good for the previous one. By making some videos, I really enjoyed the added value of the dual pixel AF. The dynamic range is scarecrowly improved and at higher ISO known much less chrominance noise, which makes denoise easier to handle. There is no traumatic trauma as the two bodies are virtually identical and the basic keys remain in the same position. Comfortable wifi connection. More than 30Mpx provide many more details than 5D3. I would have preferred a tiltable screen and the lack of spot metering at all AF points is always very annoying as it is known, it is only castrated at the software level. The AF up to af / 8 allows you to use multiplied canvases. If I had the only center point on 5D3, I now have all those double crosses, not much, but better than nothing. If you had not sold the 5D3, I would never have taken the 5D4 as I found itPrice is really too high and, in my opinion, unjustified with the improvements made to the mark III. Ultimately: an all-around body that meets virtually all my needs.

Pros: Excellent compromise between detail level and shutter speed, dual pixel raw, 30.4 megapixels

Cons: None of them relevant

Opinion: Happy with the purchase, great handyman from the landscape, the macro and the avifauna, also the dualpixelraw function that makes it possible to make micro file adjustments. I was a bit hesitant to the birdwatch because coming from the 7d mark 2 I thought it was not all high and instead I have to say that it behaves very well. Obviously the burst and buffer are slightly slower (7fs) than 7dm2 (10fs) but more than enough for my needs. The picture quality is excellent also by cropping a bit, this easily overcomes the apsc magnifier 1.6.

Pros: very clean and files with a 'noise graininess almost absent even at high ISO that allows a very good post processing. (In my album you can see a test picture to 25600) .A everything to do 10 and praise. to every machine on your work

Cons: for now, and no one will be 'the only certainty in the future.

Opinion: I have owned in order: 50d - 7d - 1DsMarkII - 1dmarkIII - 1dmarkIV- 5dmarkIII - today I have completed my outfit with a fantastic and stunning 7dII and a super 5dmark4.rnAvendo got to shoot with the top quality, today hobbiystico level, with these two tools and quality lenses (excluding heavy artillery and bulky white apart from the 400 2.8 series II madness that lighthouse 'a day), we will have the' craic ', without fainting impossible and having results of high quality'. rnNote important: the equipment ok but .... you have to devote to the post with a lot of dedication to get the desired results from these tech bombs otherwise useless to spend tens of thousands of euro for nothing. rnun nice 10 and praise canon that in 5 years, has launched a machine to the initial cost of the previous 5D3 with a series of improvements that only its owner can ', after 10,000 shots really appreciate the qualiita'.

Pros: Reliability, extraordinary quality of raw, responsive and precise autofocus, touch screen GPS and WiFi, Cromie, perfect white balance, Video (check carefully) but is a camera not a video camera.

Cons: the cost but for me it is worth them all, the video compared to sony but who wants to make videos and photos not definitely does not choose the 5d IV. I might have preferred the overhead screen.

Opinion: Here I am talking about this reflex boys "massacred" by many users MrGreen rnrnPremessa: this post is just a personal opinion and technical of the undersigned not * (* canonist convinced: D) rnrnHo retired the 5D II and some optical and currently use is the 5d III that the newcomer from a few days 5d IV. rnIeri finally I could test on the battlefield the 5d IV on the occasion of a marriage, and now hot I can give you some judgment that I hope will be helpful. rnPrima important thing is that I have a body already been run, so I did not have to learn anything new to take my hand and this is important because in the report need to be dynamic and not static. In this canon I enjoyed the touch monitor that allowed me to shoot from above and points of view more awkward to frame viewfinder, although he used a fixed-aperture has never missed a shot in this mode. rnUn'altra something important and significant thing is the white balance, much more natural than the III. Besides that I found a perfect autofocus, (that of 5dIII for me was already very good) in 5dIV is incredibly improved Eeeek !!! I'm not a technical and often use the Af in the center but I felt better accuracy. Other improvements are for my personal taste, the colors Cool and more natural colors that can "alter" at will on Ps. rnOvviamente the ISO seal and dynamic range are impressive but you already know. For the barrage I could not test because they are against too many files in marriages but I do not think there is much difference between the III and Iv (we them) rnPassiamo the post production side. Here I saw another significant improvement and it denotes that canon has worked well on this new very elastic sensor. Finally seal the iso is remarkable and the colors and the colors maintain a good performance. rnDetto in jargon and always according to my personal opinion, the raw file has a "flat" style so you can work in a much more personalized and this for me & egrAve; remarkable. rnPer the video side - WiFi - GPS - Dual pixels etc. I have not tried it yet but will update. rnAltre things at the moment :) rnrnConcludo not occur to me that to judge a car you need to go on the field at least a day instead of the "heard" say, or do a test on a tripod in your room with its iso crop and the like crap, this work very technical and it should be left to professionals. rnrnCanon did not disappoint me and for me it is worth every penny, but beware this conclusion is only personal and for my needs, I have calculated very carefully before making this major investment. rnrnYouness

Pros: dynamic range, new video features, speed, resolution, screen

Cons: limitations on video functions

Opinion: I tried it only for about ten days, but I tried to test it thoroughly for both stills and for video.rnDal photographic point of view, I was immediately surprised by the increase in dynamic range that allows for richer color photos contrasti.rnAnche and the write speed is increased, so it is more difficult runs out of shots, something that happened with Mark III easier, not to mention the mark IIrnAumentati also fps 6 to 7rnDovrebbe be increased the speed of the processor processing for all other operations. as the focus, but that does not have testato.rnLa passes resolution to 30 megapixels, which certainly does not hurt, just wish the new products raw formats require an update of all the operating systems and software used so far for previous modelli.rnrnSul the video front, there are exciting new features such as follow focus, slow motion, timelapse 4k and, unfortunately, all limited to a few choices that I seem more commercial than technical: rn- 4k with crop 1.7rn- in slow motion 100fps at full 720p rn- timelapse only in HD and not 4krnrni video products are still the best I've seen on Canon cameras so far, but we can not expect the quality of Canon professional camcorders, because they could certainly not do too much competition in that other field. rnrnleggo that someone found an excessive noise compared to other cheaper Canon cameras, but I have not compared, even though theoretically the new processor should have made improvements in terms of noise reduction, there is a function to reduce it via the camera software, and should also be tried that to have a framework completo.rnrnrnil new touch-screen menu is much more practical, especially for viewing photos, with a screen a little 'bigger and with much better resolution of the mark III, then the preview to 100% are much less grainy than before, and it is easier to evaluate them on the spot.rnrnil price is high, but it is the same of all the 5D straight out, better to wait a bit ', however, because you will not change your life than the mark IIIrnrn

Pros: Resolution menu, quality 'images, dynamic range, made at high ISO, WB, AF, burst (limited to standard settings), well implemented wi-fi, GPS satellites with good hooking. Fantastic dual AF pixels

Cons: Writing to memory card with dual raw pixels and digital lens optimizer, battery life, 4k video side limited to 1.7x. They recommend the 10000x cards

Opinion: The machine promises what 'was widely said. And 'the meeting point between the 5DsR and 1Dx Mark II (which I have both). If you have to choose a machine to do all this and 'your machine. It has sufficient resolution to landscapes and a good shadows recovery at low iso, dynamic range and 'been greatly improved compared to the 5D Mark III and 6D. High ISO and 'second only to 1Dx Mark II, and despite the various opinions, laboratory tests show a better ISO seal of already' excellent 6D, which in turn was lower than the 1Dx. What's missing: obviously the usual spot metering associated with the focus point and the blind eye darkening (but now those who use the number 5 they will be 'made a reason). The battery has a limited life especially if you use the GPS and wi-fi. Council in this case to take a BG, or of fillers have spare batteries. The writing on the cards and 'very slow if you use the raw dual pixels (pretty useless unless you do not use the lens to f / 1.4 or f / 1.2) and the Digital lens optimizer. If you shoot in Raw latter you can use it directly in DPP. I do not recommend using it on camera, unless you want to have the jpeg already 'ready to use. It would have been helpful to have the same delay menu Raised mirror as on 5DsR, and 'something through firmware, Canon should think of putting it to the next release. Customization and 'very good. Price 'to settle down a little, to this day still a bit' exaggerated.

Pros: Feeling Canon.

Cons: The focus point is not lit and there is no link between spot metering and focus point.

Opinion: Hello to tutti.rnMia first review here and start with the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV (more than a review are first impressions) .rnrnProvenendo from other Canon (1V, 3, 50, 100D - this used only for 15 days during a trip) the feeling was immediate. With the appropriate customizations everything I immediately at hand: the joystick to change the focus point, the immediate transition from "one-shot" and "to-servant" and other things. rnFinito to set the machine (RAW + JPG on CF to SD, White Balance: Sun, Digital Lens Optimizer and other lenses fixes: off, High Tone Priority: Off, Noise Reduction: Off, Auto Lighting Optimizer: off, Picture Style: Standard , GPS + logging: on), mounted 50 f1.2 and hand strap E2, and calibrated the focus with the FOCAL software (gives me a + 2 value to be set), a quick search to see in Venice what comes out. rnrnIntanto the whole thing weighs about 1.6 kg it is well balanced and did not give me too much hassle to take it in hand 4 ore.rnDurante not the dayor that focus on static subjects is always quick (I have not tried it on a moving subject), the click is quiet (even in standard mode) and the return of the mirror is very "sweet" .rnrnIl viewfinder is bright and you can choose what settings and information is shown both on and below the image itself. Among the options are the lattice, the level, the focus positions and various settings (ISO, WB, drive mode, battery status, etc.). Unfortunately, the point of focus mode does not remain red when focused, you can only choose only if you let him do a single red flash. New to me, I have to get used to me. I also miss the side indicator of this exposure on the series 1.rnrnPer me that I long, tapering fingers find the right button among 4 present next to the upper display is not always immediate, but over time things improve further it is instinctive to use the front dial to the primary function (ie & egrAve; one written before on the body) while it is the opposite, and I have not found a way of convenience invertirle.rnrnMolto the touchscreen, especially when using the Q-customized menus, where to put all the settings you want to change without entering the main menu, or use keys and ghiere.rnrnScatto everything with activated auto-ISO 50 to 800, evaluative metering, single shot and AV.rnrnTornato at home I see everything in DPP 4.5 (at the moment I only have this, calmly try Lightroom and Capture one to see if it's worth buying one) and do some changes by putting the picture Style in "true image", closing lights and shadows to -2 (I come from Velvia), giving a +1 to contrast and saturation, and I send five printing Digitalpix , 20x30 on paper Fuji Pearl.rnrnRicevute photos I found familiar. Hard to explain, but I was afraid with the digital to lose a bit 'of warmth that slides gave me. E 'was only the first race and I realize that with time I will be able to give the impression that I want individual photos, Overall so the machine is promossa.rnAlcune concluding remarks: no shooting in black and white with 5d (the rest of the film that I personally develop and print) and I do not do video (not interest me), so I can not comment on these issues. Easy to use Wi-Fi to transfer the photos to your smartphone (with the NFC on Android is also the immediate configuration) and convenient GPS logging. rnrn rn rnrnrnrnrnrn

Pros: We did some tests in specific lighting conditions with little sister 6D in comparison with this great innovazionee as a pro I find nothing in favor

Cons: Noise at 400 ISO in my opinion exaggerated compared with the sister 6D of a noise I would say unique. The MAF to all points I was not at all satisfied compared to the 5D Mark 3 the mark 4 is not responding as CANON.le describes the tests were carried out with the same aim Canon 24-70-2.8

Opinion: An exaggerated figure for a too hyped camera but does not meet what you read in the EOS 6D wins in all striving towards the same goal CAnon 24-70 2.8- perhaps exaggerated in innovations that require too many steps and with an inflated price makes think of a much better result but in my humble opinion was not met-from the outset that they are the first Canonist with my digital EOS 350 D after the EOS 500D to follow the EOS 7D and now happily married to the EOS 6D. I looked forward to the new 5d mark 4 pity that I was not convinced I'm always Canonist with the belief that the EOS 6D with its 20MP modest remains the best, then, it is my favorite.
