Pros: Stamp, Af, colors, vintage, very artistic.

Cons: The age for those who love to keep up with the times, for those who love the folklore of half vintage tones can be said that it has no flaws.

Opinion: I had the big one, then I go on the statistics of the most used juza lenses and I see that despite the fact that at the time I had both lenses, I shot more with the 135 mm ... objectively found by juza statistics on my profile . And why? I bought this lens again because I sincerely think that today beyond the excellent value for money you can not find lenses with wonderful imperfections like this . Not even the Big One has such a personality . I flanked this lens to the 50 L 1.2 , on Fuji Xt1 I took a 23 mm f 2 wr to have a mediocre 35 mm for street . Instead the L lenses I make them rejuvenate with canon's Mirrorless system, with a humble Rp that like Af is reactive on these wonderful lenses.

Pros: Price, sharpness (from f 4 onwards), fast and precise AF, blurry, construction, weight and size.

Cons: Sharpness far from exemplary at All Opening (partly even at f 2.8), indecent backlight hold. Of course it is not stabilized, but this is not a defect since IS did not exist in 1996.

Opinion: Bought by B&H in early May 1996, then six months before it arrived in Italy, and from the first tests I noticed that it was only equal, as it is sharp, compared to my Canon FDn 100/2, and much lower than the latter in terms of yield in backlight (for me priority), weight, size and price. In short, a fine lens, especially at the time of its introduction, but certainly not epochal as it is always heard, and this, I repeat, was objectively evident as early as 1996. Nowadays the comparison with the competition is embarrassing, since it has been overtaken by all competitors.

Pros: Unmistakable yield, AF, Colors, Blurred, Size/Weight, Optical Quality....

Cons: Nothing to declare....

Opinion: Incredible lens, for the portrait has an immediately recognizable and unique stamp, but I do not want to add what already said by those who preceded me.... I was lucky through a friend here on Juza to try 85L 1.2 II and this "jewel" on 135L, without taking anything away from the Big One.... fabulous optics, the 135L bewitched me. Bought and tried, it did not convince me at the beginning... then it was immediately love, maybe as a focal is a little long (in some cases) but just take a little measures, and where there is the possibility to move and have space, gives incredible shots, the AF also on my 6D is responsive and precise. I'm just a fan, but you can immediately understand the quality of this lens... just open a file, and you'll be blown away.... try to believe !!!! For a portraitist it's a lens to have... Point!!!!

Pros: All

Cons: Nothing, not even the construction, since the plastic is just a coating!

Opinion: It has any value you can think of: it has all the qualities of a super portraitist (blurred, colors, contrasts) and even the sharpness is super, already at TA and from corner to corner! I also tried to put the 2x III (270/4, light and compact!) and the quality remains very high! The Af doesn't miss a shot on 5d4. The sharpness (which normally in portraits if it is too much is not a value) still manages to make the complexion in a "soft" way (I do not know how it is possible... the lashes are perfect, the pores are not seen or almost...), the blurring is really magical, the flare and the effects against light are magnificent... On the construction, since someone has inserted it among the cons, unfortunately I tested the goodness... and removing the plastic outer parts remains a block of metal and glass! 10 vote without ifs and buts!

Pros: Optical quality, discrete AF, excellent speed even on Sony system

Cons: Definitely cheap construction

Opinion: A lens that approaches the 85 1.2 with regard to the "character" with which it inevitably manages to mark a photograph. They're not fetish fantasies, they're reality. Unfortunately from the online photos you can not really appreciate that stamp, being often altered by post-production more or less intrusive. You realize the art of this lens when you shoot a subject, and simply by taking advantage of natural light you can pull out a picture. It is here that in fact the "vintage" lenses (of which this 135mm fully inherits the philosophy) give the best. That "pastiness" to which many refer, is the right compromise between sharpness and creaminess. Just think that the manufacturers to meet the market's SHARPNESSSSSSS demand, have started to produce lenses with apodization element , which do nothing but "blunt" the image from mid-frame onwards (but eating the light passing through ), so that the center is crisp but at the same time the peripheral bokeh is creamy and pasty. The best lens that embodies this philosophy is the Sony 100mm GM, but to do so it has a 5.6 T (which completely limits its use at night without flash ). Personally, I think it makes much more sense to use a less correct lens with important openings, than an engineering monster on which architects must be installed to "simulate" the vintage yield. Returning to this 135mm, it must alas emphasize how the construction is outdated, and the feeling of "plastic" to the touch is really strong. Nothing to do with the new series of Canon L, in which we tried to raise the bar of constructive quality. Note how used with sigma mc-11 on third-generation Sony bodies, it loses absolutely nothing compared to using it on a Canon body.

Pros: Sharpness, Blur, AF Speed, Color, Three-Dimensionality, plane break, Microcontrast and color, Construction

Cons: Non-stabilized, Focal Length indoors (a bit long)

Opinion: Amazing Lens, the 135mm L. If you think that this lens is born as a project in the far 1996, this says a lot about the constructive superiority/awkward optics of Canon compared to the competition, which will surely have Mirrorless with sensors equipped with great dynamic range and modern AF but from Side lenses and optics still has to make it to the road.... The construction is excellent, sturdy and well balanced, not too flashy as it could be the 70-200, so much so that it can go unnoticed if used without lens hood in different situations of reportage/street and travel. The AF is fast and it gets even quicker if you move the ring nut over 0.90-infinity, the sharpness is outstanding already at F2, closing becomes impressive. The colors are beautiful (classic Canon rendition) and the really good microcontrast. A lens that was created for the portrait set, the first/first few planes, the shooting with outdoor models, weddings and social reportage. It Gives the best of itself in ceremonies/weddings where the detachment of the subject from the background and the blurred very soft and progressive, give the image a unique stamp. In my opinion the only lens in the house Canon that has a higher blurred is the ambitious 85mm 1.2, with however minimal differences and with a very, very similar character. Today in 2019, a lens that can tell its even with Canon sensors above 22MPixel: I use it on 5DMARK3 and 5dmark4 and it seems born for these machines that manages to squeeze up to the last Megapixels. The Only drawback was the lack of stabilization (but it would have been a different perspective and would have lost its lightness). There is also to be considered that the focal is not short, so in the Churches in the halls and interiors, it would sometimes be more congenial a focal under 100mm. To have ABSOLUTELY in outfit

Pros: Sharpness, blur, colors, lightning-fast MAF

Cons: Nothing to report

Opinion: On this optic there is little to say. It takes some time to understand the possibilities and the correct way of use but once familiarized with this lens is difficult to detach from the machine. Personally I nicknamed it the 135 F 2.8 which also drops to F2. I find in fact that closed one stop has the best yield, favoring the portraits with half a bust or American plane, compared to the narrower ones, where it is not always necessary to open the diaphragm at most. If you want instead a more dreamlike, slightly softer, you can open the diaphragm to the maximum, but paying attention to the focus and taking care to manage the distance from the subject well and the relative framing obtained to avoid out of focus Annoying. His bread are the full-length portraits but also in those half-bust you can use it well. Also tried on APS-C, it is long but excellent on the outside and the yield is not affected. Bought with some perplexity related to its possible use, I will never sell it!!! To have in a Canon kit, especially if you like portraits.

Pros: High sharpness even at TA, contained dimensions, excellent construction, used price, colors and superb yield, very high contrast

Cons: Focal non generalist and not for every occasion

Opinion: Taken used in excellent condition (paid €500.) and I use it on A7III + Sigma MC-11 and it works great, I was really impressed by the optical rendition and the high contrast even to really gorgeous TA. In my case for portrait use and some landscaping detail is perfect, I would not do sports events but for the rest (at least on A7III) is perfect and the eye focus mode works perfectly even at great distances. Really a superb optical rendition despite the project's company! Highly recommended!

Pros: Simply Magical

Cons: On APS-C is a bit long

Opinion: is nicknamed "Magic Prime", is a lens that creates addiction, despite its limited range of use are always reluctant to remove it from the camera body, already sharp at F2, a bit ' of purple fringing to this opening that disappears closing a bit. You make portraits with a beautiful fuzzy and that completely isolates the subject even if taken full length then from considerable distance since it is a 135, and closed to F4 is a blade priceless even for shots of details within a panorama. If you find it under the 1000 euros then it's pretty much an investment, footprint and weight quite content.

Pros: Sharp, blurry with fear, colors

Cons: Himself, intended as his long focal...

Opinion: I was looking for a portrait optics that would give me satisfaction and I must admit that at the beginning, when I bought this lens I thought I had made a hole in the water.. It is not an easy lens (like all Canon of a certain level) and often strongly denotes its being now an "outdated" project... but I assure you that using it has snapped that feeling that I did not expect... practically shooting only with this... and the results ( Especially closing a hair the diaphragm) are nothing short of excellent (for me)... I put as neo the fact that it can be a long lens, it was 100 was perfect.

Pros: Sharpness, aperture, detach, file quality

Cons: Minimum MAF, not stabilized, not sealed

Opinion: Simply magical, spectacular lens. I tried several fixed, I was undecided whether to change it to replace the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 EX OS HSM, also because I own a Macro 100L. I have read several reviews on the "135L vs 100L Macro", but in the end I decided to try it with hand. The 135, on portraits, is simply a world apart. It's magical, it has something that other lenses don't have. Detachment of sensational planes, at f/2 is a blade, and you can play with the low depth of field. If it was stabilized it would be the perfect lens for this genre, the minimum focusing distance is almost 1 meter, and does not allow very narrow framing. I was prepared to have a super lens in my hands, and yet, trying it, however it went beyond my expectations.

Pros: All

Cons: Anything

Opinion: The lens is practically perfect, one of those that when the mountains do not take away anymore but would prefer to change photos that disassemble: D: D: D: D: D rnScherzi apart from its strength are the whole subjects to ta, in that in case the fully open diaphragm also allows to focus on the subject making everything else "magical". Closing a bit and approaching the subject you get details or portraits decidedly captivating given the extremely nice mess.

Pros: Cool, blurry, excellent

Cons: What's wrong with that?

Opinion: Someone complains about the lack of stabilization but is easily overviews by reducing the exposure time thanks to the brightness that this lens offers. Someone even complains about the small size of the AF button ... I go to laugh ... but the opinions have to be respected. RnrnI bought this lens a few days after buying a Pentacon focal point, just to see if I really needed a 216mm on APS-C for portraits. Finding myself comfortable, I've been dealing with the expense and ... well worth the effort, without taking the smart Pentacon out of it that really is a lens to recommend.rnrnA fast and precise autofocus, An excellent brightness that lets you take pictures in Low light conditions. Robust and heavy qb with a sense of reliability over time, it becomes a circular check if you decide to sell it (but when ever?). I think it's my best buy ever.

Pros: Sharpness, three-dimensional, color, weight

Cons: Narrow field of use

Opinion: My e 'an opinion of course compared to the experience and personal skills Passionate about portraits I have a good kit which also includes Tamron 70/200 f2.8 vc and the Canon L 85 1.2. . Among these three lenses, which use on 5diii, the 135 is definitely the least flexible and practical. Not hide a zoom and 'much more practical and versatile than a fixed focal species to these. My Tamron defends already many good and often thought to leave only the 85, and that 'can also be used in confined spaces and sell the 135 and tammy to take the Canon 70/200 2.8 ii .... but then I just reuse it once to change his mind. The 135 and 'unique. I got to shoot with friends who used both the 100 f.2.8 macro that 70/200 ii 2.8, but there is no 'history. The 135 has on his incredible three-dimensionality, a very soft blurry that because of its focus is more evident than that of the 85 (naturally aperture equal), then it produces fileswith a detail and definition beautiful and ready to use, without having to resort to post production. To all this must be added a to f fast and accurate which makes it a lens for "stolen sports or portraits". L 85 1.2 and 'certainly magic but to exploit its true magic you have to do work in critical conditions: where others do not have the history Vetrone 1 kg from the best, but the slow af make a photo objective laid . The 135 on the other hand is' instantaneous and responsive especially if you set the mode dial to put long-distance focus. Stabilizer I never missed since at f2 and 'already a blade and raising a little' ISO shutter speeds are always more than enough. Montandogli an extension tube also becomes a beautiful macro, but already not able to take pictures of flowers and small objects wonderful. rnConosco very experienced photographers who bought and resold the lens 3 times because it is certainly very very specific and to use it by buI need a lot of space and length, that there is often no ', but once proven they can not help it. And lastly 'to remember that its weight, size and color do camouflage much better than a zoom (with Biancone and' impossible not to be noticed) and does not create problems to the neck. In my "imaginary professional" outfit I think he can not fail but it is to be used alternately to a 24/70 ii 2.8, preferably on another body. If the budget is not a problem and 'definitely a must have for a portrait together with the' 85 1.2. rn

Pros: sharpness fantastic

Cons: maybe the price

Opinion: E 'for some time that we reasoned above, I finally deciso..ho only made a few shots only having it for some days, but I noticed right away the sharpness fantastica..anche distant objects remain in focus in an amazing way. The speed is very high, and I noticed that at full aperture is easy to miss the focus if you are not careful. Pros: sharpness

Cons: Absence of tropicalization

Opinion: After many hesitations in the end I decided to buy this goal instead of 70-200. After the first use I was surprised by the quality of the images that produces a clarity never seen before. Pros: Amazing

Cons: I can not find, if not in the amount of euro that have to shell out

Opinion: I bought this lens after reading hundreds of reviews and testing times. I have never read a negative judgment. The I own a couple of months and I L addition to my kit which already boasts a good selection, including the 85 1.2. Unlike the 85 that I have yet to understand whether it really all a nutshell, the quality of the 135 you miss it the first click. The result on the display is already evident, but when you download the files remain open-mouthed. Af fast, beautiful color rendering and a beautiful blur. Indoor perhaps it can be a bit long even on FF (for this I also took L 85), but in external or with large spaces and 'really a lens to which a portrait can not give up. rnEro undecided because I also have the Tamron 70 200 2.8 vc that still gives great shots and all in all very well covers the focal 135. I used both lenses to one mounting them on the show alternately 6d. Once in front of the monitors have always been able to understand the fly, without reading the details, which were the shots of 135and what the Tamron, although this last it has often set the focal it.

Pros: Sharpness, colors, weight, price, construction, speed of MAF

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: An extraordinary slow the 135L. The first impression you get is the extreme lightness is therefore an ideal lens not only laid portraits but also for travel portraits. It 'amazing how the focus speed, set to 3m is truly meteoric. The colors, the accuracy of the MAF, the detail that this lens returns are truly amazing. The cost, high but not extremely high as in the case dell'85L, is therefore fully justified. You will discover the pleasure to admire the huge front lens, ultimately it is a truly definitive lens and can not miss in the outfit of a portrait or a traveler who, like me, are fascinated by the different ethnic groups that populate the world. Masterpiece.

Opinion: Simply the best lents between all my optical park. 1000% reliable even in critical conditions, lightning and af ... that sharpness. Very happy even though its not cheap but when you guess the right light not there x no. Also perfect on APSC where it becomes a 216 f 2 not bad? Pros: Brightness, sharpness, robustness

Cons: Not stabilized, minimum distance of major fire

Opinion: Lens portraitists pure, highly addictive because you can definitely remove the subject from the background bokeh returning a soft and mellow without necessarily reach the maximum aperture of f2. A bit 'stiff because clearly 135mm fixed not be used very often, then the combination with at least one other pair of lenses is of obbligo.rnPersonalmente love to use it to F3.2 - f4 and already gave me magnificent shots, to use a TA only for the real needs of light. For example it is fantastic for example take with this lens f2 with cloudy sky sheltering from strong shadows, in which case the measured exposure spot on the face returns on the same light almost Studio! RnrnLente project rather old but still gives shots superb for its sharpness already f2, please also however have a hand surgeon because at 135mm IS without the danger of camera shake is always present, in which case you must constantly keep an eye on the shutter speeds that should never be slower d160-200 of secondo.rnTenendolo in the hand feels the quality and robustness of optics as well as the impressive hood as well as offering excellent protection against dust (the lens is not Tropicalised) allows use even under strong luce.rnrnLo liken to 100mm f2.8 L macro (also this fantastic portrait lens) in one respect, the 135 having a minimum distance of focus rather important (close to metro) does not allow a lot of the shots "invasive", in substance to get a close-up where all the face covers the entire frame, it must be to crop the picture in post. Unlike the 100mm above, which has a minimum distance of fire much lower, it offers this vantaggio.rnE 'fantastic to match for a session of shots at 24-70 f2.8

Pros: EVERYTHING

Cons: NOTHING

Opinion: It is one of those few lenses devoid of defects. A masterpiece optical and constructive, state of the art. The sharpness in F2 is outstanding, it would be a crime to close the diaphragm. The blur is a dream, are very rare on the lenses that give a digital bokeh like ... even in the more mundane can remove the subject from the background and give a three-dimensional unparalleled. The autofocus is instantaneous, and by inserting the limitation of distance is even faster ... if the light is good enough focus is instantaneous. The build quality is by SERIES L of old philosophy (in fact it is a project quite old): robust, VERY WELL DONE, unfortunately not sealed. The lack of the stabilizer I find as an advantage: the lens less susceptible to wear and with an optical diagram easier, so more quality and less obsolescence.

Pros: Sharpness, blurred, weight / size, price; optical quality and overall construction.

Cons: I do not know ...

Opinion: I bought a few days ago and, as has already been said about this lens, I can not remove it from the 6D. It 'a continual invitation to try again and again the possibility of this lens. It 'needed a little' attention 'rational' choice of fire, especially in portraits wide open, just a minimal change to lose some detail, but if a picture is taken with care, opens a real prorpio show! I also have the 70-200 f4 IS USM, which is a great zoom, but the fuzzy soft, three-dimensional, color rendering of the 135 f2, even at full aperture, are unique. The price is very reasonable, especially when compared with newer Canon lenses (and sometimes less efficient). Highly recommended! Among the fixed focal occupies a truly unique and indispensable.

Pros: Solid construction although not tropical conditions, very high sharpness even at f 2.0, beautiful colors and focus, also add the ability to shoot subjects closer to the lens of the 85 1.8 and 100 f2.0

Cons: Those who choose this' optical does knowing what it takes for me so it has no defects. For example, the make is just heavier optics and complex the optical scheme, then to maintain the same quality there would be a price increase, and even now is not cheap. A want to be picky, the diaphragm unrounded you notice when in the background out of focus there are points of light ... but it is a matter of taste.

Opinion: I borrowed the perspective from a friend and I tried it for a few weeks, I have to say that the first difference with my 100 f2.0 is that I spend less unnoticed, also after some time I feel the weight of the lens, with the 100 instead never any weariness, for other differences you can read in detail in the article I fattornrnhttp: //fotorealis.jimdo.com/2014/08/23/canon-135-f2-0-confronto/rnrnsecondo my habits, 100 f2.0 is not a second choice, if you take into account some aspects and not taking pictures often at risk of chromatic aberrations or close-ups, the difference in sharpness is at f2.0, but you only notice at magnifications of 100% and since it is used in portraits and 100 is already very clear, I do not see problems, rnrnpoi the advice is to try both to get an idea before a purchase, (because personal tastes affect more than any test ) if you have the luck of friends who own them and are not too jealous:-)

Opinion: I had promised to wait to review this lens before using it on FF, but I'm so excited that I decided to do it now, after a month of use (I doubt that the opinion will change in the future). RNLA quality at full aperture is really remarkable, with stunning clarity and a three-dimensional (despite the focal species on APS-C / H) excellent: give the tone, shades and a fuzzy incantevoli.rnSicuramente simply is not an easy lens to use, especially if you want to enhance the merits (without mastery is likely to do the opposite), and especially at full aperture, which requires a bit 'of experience in the development fuoco.rnPer now I'm using the lens on the 7D and I have to say that it is difficult making the most of the sensor this machine, I've always believed, and this coupled with you have a 200mm f / 2 (216, to be precise) with a speed of focus breathtaking, not to mention the convenience of a similar focus in certain areas, such as ceremonies, where the flash will be theaxed quietly at home to the delight of the subjects (and the results). rnInutile say that the construction is impeccable, the focus ring is smooth at the right point and has a perfect race to allow corrections of the maf when moving the subject or inaccuracies AF (very difficult) and the lens, in general, is perfectly balanced with semi-professional and professional bodies (I've also tested on 450D and although BG + dual battery, the combination is significantly unbalanced) . rnHo mentioned versatility as it is a lens that lends itself flawlessly in both sports photography in portraiture, but also in many other fields, and considering it is located on the 800 € on average, it's a bargain, I bought volo.rnrnPassando to the contrary, I noticed a very slight chromatic aberration wide open, but in each of the cases in which I have found, it was photographs taken outdoors under a direct sun, so that, for difficult lighting conditions any lens: one personallyyou, I have not found even necessary to correct it via software, so much lieve.rnInfine, as many have written before me, this lens creates very addictive: you get the urge to shoot even unnecessarily just to appreciate the magnificent results that this lens gives. rnSe want to give you a gift or if you're about to feed a monkey, this is the lens that you have a short acquistare.rnrnPrevedo buying a FF, so I will update the review with new impressions (... discounted).

Pros: Sharpness at RT, blurred, building, AF, sizes, colors.

Cons: lack IS

Opinion: Lens designed for portraits where, thanks to the generous openness and responsiveness and precision AF, allows for shooting moving subjects with a sharpness and bokeh without compromise. At f / 2 you already have a sharpness close to the maximum, the subject seems to come out of the photo and the background is blurred almost canceled in a creamy, pictorial. The AF is very accurate but TA need some practice, especially at the minimum distance of maf, to avoid errors. The colors that returns, mounted on the 5D mark III, I was impressed by the saturation and this, combined with the bokeh, this lens makes it a must for portraiture. The building is at the highest level and its light weight allows prolonged use without feeling the slightest fatica.rnL 'only improvement would be possible to equip it with this gem stabilizer that in certain circumstances it may be of help and allow you to keep the ISO low. rnih conclusion if the 135mm focal length are your favorite, you will not find anything better out there. Vote 10 - the lack of IS.

Pros: Sharpness, maximum aperture, three-dimensional, color rendering, construction.

Cons: Against whom?

Opinion: The first word that came out of my mouth after viewing a PC the first photo taken with this gem of a 1d mark iii (so not even full frame) was: ** tics i.rntridimensionalità, out of focus, maximum aperture are definitely the tip diamond of this lens that brings with it a great building and a limited weight. Recommended mainly for headshoot really leaves his mouth open for the detachment of the plans with respect to the background at all apertures useful for a 135mm. Unfortunately for portraits I've never tried the 85mm L lens but this certainly does its full duty!

Pros: Sharpest already at room temperature, blurred beautiful, three-dimensional, excellent construction.

Cons: Difficult to find

Opinion: Optics for the beautiful portrait: light, crisp, beautiful blurred, luminosissima.rnSono lover of 135mm (I was the extraordinary Pentax DA * 50-135mm) Canon and this perspective is a wonderful interpretation of this focal length. Excellent for portraits, crystal clear already at room temperature, which makes it an ideal companion in low light situations where you do not want or that you can not use the flash.rnNelle pictures of still life (drops, smoke ...) in where before I used the Tamron 180mm macro, now use this wonderful medium 135mm tele.rnPrima of this, I had the Canon 200mm f2, 8 II: Two excellent optics, but I find that the 135mm is sharper at f2 despite being a TA.

Pros: Fast MAF, Accuracy, Image Quality

Cons: None

Opinion: One of the best lenses I've ever bought, after reading comments by sports photographers internazionalirnHa changed for the better the level of my shots in indoor sports (basketball), of course we must get used to a fixed lens than the convenience of a 70-200 2.8 but the result is definitely migliore.rnCosa not unimportant is the small size and low pesornBokeh wonderful and excellent three-dimensional image ... In short, this is not it will never give ;)

Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, size.

Cons: Just a little 'aberration.

Opinion: Purchased almost by chance in a kit that already boasted 85L 70 200 and 2.8, using it has become indispensable. Much easier of 85 by the diaphragm, a focal length that I prefer since it crushes better plans. It really makes a lot, from portraits to full figures away. Perfect from the point of view of the image, crystal clear already open and with a perfect bokeh from the technical point of view. When you open the files to the pc never disappoints. Very highly recommended.

Cons: A bit difficult to use at all TA 'inizio.Crea addiction, a lot of addiction.

Opinion: Superb lens from fantastica.Nitidezza excellent yield already at RT, blurred bellissimo.Resa color very very good, fast autofocus (not lightning) and precisissimo.Indicato for tight portraits, to 'start a little difficult to use at room temperature (it is easy to mistake the point MAF) but after a bit of protic, it can not be more help meno.Comprato about a year ago, sold in mid-November, yesterday 's I bought back (used).

Pros: Sharpness, blur, three-dimensional, airy, colors, MAF speed, portability, contrast, relatively cheap.

Cons: Resistance to flare, and I would say nothing else.

Opinion: Optics dream. At first glance, I was struck by the blurry TA. Creamy, smooth, very nice the separation between the plan that offers both half-length portraits than in ambientati. The sharpness is excellent at TA, closing improves still raggiugendo f5.6 to its maximum. rnResa of color and noise, are its other qualities. I use it often for portraits and distancing himself enough from the subject is possible, given its length of APCS can make excellent portraits set in which opening to f2 you can enjoy a beautiful three-dimensional and airiness of the lens. rnQuando you learn to know it, you are sent to try and find the best shots to enhance their skills, discovering the beauty of photographic composition rnLo advice, in my opinion is a must for lovers of the lens ritratti.rn

Opinion: a lens truly amazing how great contrasts blurred sharpness nn even know what aberrations are no vignetting surrender to f2 is excellent Nn you can remove it from the machine is even feel like taking unnecessarily every time to see what he can give, fantastic images colors beautiful nn I had problems with flare ghosting nientw

Pros: Solid construction, focus, sharpness, size and weight are normal.

Cons: At this point use a full aperture can be difficult, but it improves with tempo.rnCrea dipendenza.rnCrea very addictive.

Opinion: A spectacular view, it was love at first sight, the sharpness at full aperture and focus are something magical, ideal for portraits, busts and figures intere.rnL 'I used in several occasions such as weddings and book, and the yield is really superb, the photos seem dipinti.rnUna when used in f2, hardly shut down the diaframma.rnUn advice, do not try it if you can not buy it.

Pros: already clear to F2, bokeh, construction, auto focus (fast and accurate), size and weight

Cons: rounded diaphragm

Opinion: if you have determined that the focal length is 135 mm for you this is the right target! Honestly, of all the optics I've had or tried is what I think comes closest to perfection, has mooolti advantages and virtually no defects worthy of note, if we look at the hairs on blade rounded diaphragm has not but the bokeh that produces is still wonderful. One major advantage is the sharpness of the already very high in F2 and this together with weight, size and price make it a lens not exaggerated really recommend to all

Pros: Pretty much everything.

Cons: Rounded diaphragm.

Opinion: On this view there is little good to add that has not already been said by others before me. Only difettuccio the diaphragm rounded. For the rest, I consider it in tandem with the 35 1.4 the basis of a good outfit on Canon FF bodies. On second thought there is a second problem: creates addiction to severe.

Cons: STABILIZER MISSING

Opinion: GOOD FOR THE MOST 'EXPERTS, IF YOU ARE NOT' ENOUGH "PRACTICAL" ATTENTION TO FIRE, SHOULD TRY AND TRY AGAIN, CMQ RESULTS WILL fall in love ALL OF THIS BACKGROUND THAT HAS A SHARP SHARP And a blurred FANTASTIC, THE QUALITY 'AND' EXTRAORDINARY ... Pros: sharpness wide open - minimum distance maf - Quick AF - construction - bokeh - equivalent focal APSC - compactness

Cons: anyone (whether IS would make it more heavy and bulky)

Opinion: 135 The best of the many I've had (including Zeiss Planar 135/2 and Nikkor 135/2 ais) and perhaps the best value for money of the entire production Canon. Excellent in marriages, on FF, where its rapid focheggiatura, without hesitation and angle smaller I do prefer the other "boss" of Canon 85 / 1.2 L II that I use when it is allowed slower approach and meditated. Blurred perfect, impressive sharpness wide open, rich color and tonal nuances: with the 35/1.4 or the pair 24/1, 4 and 50/1, 2 is always in my bag, alongside the zoom of my outfit for applications and situations that require optimal management of the pdc and three-dimensional rendering. It 'sa real pleasure to use and the results promptly confirm to me the choice of this excellent system, whose fixed focal L series do not regret any brand as those used in the past, including Leica. Last but not least, it behaves as an excellent 200mm f: 2 when the graft on the EOS 7D, making the most of the difficult sensor of the latter. I recommend it without reservation.

Pros: Sharpness, AF speed, bokeh, robustness, f/2.0, weight, quality / price ratio

Cons: lack IS

Opinion: Optical remarkable that returns images with blurred pleasant one. Especially suited for portraits on FF narrow or indoor sports. At the beginning it is difficult to manage the shallow depth of field at room temperature and in the first few shots is difficult to guess the MAF. But it soon takes his hand and everything becomes simpler ... I note that the more you use, the less we are inclined to close the iris!

Pros: Construction, brightness, blur, colors

Cons: If it were stabilized ...

Opinion: And 'the objective that I did prefer the Canon system to Nikon. Born for the film, the digital age has found a second youth, therefore winning team does not cambia.rnSplendido for portraits, where stands for focus, sharpness, colors, indoor sport, thanks to the brightness and AF veloce.rnA 2.0 clear, although a little vignette ', 4.0 and 5.6, has values ??of sharpness impressive. Can be used with multipliers, in this case loses all its charm and its own qualità.rnSe wanted something more, I would not mind the stabilizer, but would weigh and cost more. rnih conclusion is a high-level fixed at a relatively affordable price.

Pros: f 2.0, rugged construction typical of the L

Cons: the first few times you use it at f2, is a bit 'difficult to guess the fire, but it is early in the hand.

Opinion: The 135 2L is a must-have lens in the kit, especially if the main body is FF. Incredible sharpness wide open, accurate and fast AF. ideal for tight portraits (as opposed to 85 different view that the focal length and the minimum distance of MAF do not allow much closer to the subject), talking heads and if there is space figures. the focus that gives is always wonderful, although sometimes manage the focus can become complicated, f2 means having to take the focus and iris lashes blurred. Personally I use a lot of weddings on the Canon EOS 1D Mark III to the talking heads, and in the right conditions gives real paintings, or coupled to the Canon EOS 5D Mark II for studio portraits, closing a little 'aperture for photos with flash, or improvising shots using only the pilot lights flash. Conclusion: If you do not have budget to buy, DO NOT try it, it's a drug:-D
