Pros: Very easy to use

Cons: Noise even at average ISO

Opinion: It was my first DSLR, it's been many years since then. An object that I remember with sympathy and affection, I had it with the 18-55 is II. Very simple to use. Over time, when I deepened the world of SLR I discovered immediately the many limits in particular side noise. For those who start now and want to take it used advice to orient themselves on other machine bodies anyway cheap in the world of used type 100d or 600d and to use the 1100d only if you find it by chance or gift. It's an honest entry level but now obsolete. But I remember it fondly.

Pros: Price/performance ratio, lightness, battery life and machine body

Cons: Noise above 800 ISO, autofocus accuracy

Opinion: After having had a compact Canon for a few years I went to the 1100d that was my first reflex and that has the great merit of having me passionate about amateur photography. When you buy it you already know that it is an entry level, so you can not expect superlative performance. It has a plasticose but sturdy construction, the sharpness is not exceptional but improves with better lenses than the 18-55mm standard. The accuracy of the autofocus is not at the highest levels and if you are not careful of the times it can happen that going to cover the photo to the computer is blurry. An expected nuisance is the noise present above 800 ISO, which really becomes consistent over the 1600. The files that it results in anyway are appreciable and excellent for those who are in the beginning and want to make the bones. At the time of its release it had a very good price/performance ratio. I used it very satisfactorily for 6 years, then I switched to a 6d which of course is another world, but the 1100d I also held it with me;)

Pros: Price

Cons: Sharpness, high ISO, too much plastic

Opinion: I had the Canon EOS 1100D before I went to Nikon D7000 inherited by my father, it was my first reflex that followed me for six years. We are talking about a reflex entry level, so we can not expect exaggerated qualities. In his favor there is definitely the price and the fact that it is great to start moving the first steps in the world of photography, but keep in mind that as soon as you start to have more confidence with timing, diaphragms and iso, this little one will go there hold.

Pros: Price, intuitive menu, battery life, weight

Cons: ISO noise, automatic video settings, burst, af slow and imprecise

Opinion: My passion for photography was born with this machine, it is good to learn the basics and learn how to shoot in manuale.Dopo about 9/10 months of use I had the need to go to the next level, in my case, jumping to much of astronomical photos I needed a sensor with improved iSO seal and FF (using wide angle lenses), but definitely a great start and gain experience.

Pros: Price, ease of use

Cons: Sharpness, ISO

Opinion: I bought this car four years ago and I must admit that I learned and I fell in love with this photography. This body should only be a starting point, you need to learn and master the art of fotografia.rnI downsides that I have found over the years of use are the noise in the picture to no more than 800 ISO and image quality. Also rnInteressante the chance to shoot videos but .... 1280x720p at 30 fps ...

Pros: good start, good files, value for money, battery life

Cons: low resistance to noise max 800 isolates the rest of a basic entry level

Opinion: fun car to begin with was my first SLR, the value for money is good (excellent used now) and it was all "purchase also in 2012, of course we are talking about an entry level basis so after some time that there is passion for photography you will notice the flaws, the noise is acceptable up to a maximum iSO 1000, slow burst and quality of good file, but not excellent, the rest is fun and i would recommend it only to start from scratch

Pros: Battery life, lightness and portability, weight and quality of raw files, menu customization and q key.

Cons: Display for livew use. , lack of spot reading. For those who make video only the possibility of 720HD, ISO selectable only in stop (full) then 400/800/1600 etc.

Opinion: My first is SLR, because with this machine I found a very sensitive feeling and I love it in the merits and limits, and then are precisely those limits to make this Canon unique, as the screen that not very resolute does not make it easy to put fire in livew. but you can do the same and absorb little battery. The perfect resolution, neither too much nor that makes you forget the micro blur, even with telephoto. And then the ease in use even in the vastness of customization, and you will not find any type of toy or miniature filters, etc. almost like a professional. You take a great or small wonder the right and this on any hand, fits like a glove. Limited video department but for me, not turning video, irrelevant. But the lack of spot reading I find it really unjustifiable, especially since I find it on the small sx220 that I also own and that makes the spot a marvel. The use with stm lenses that already discrete with dpp see all the defects of vignetting, distortion etc .. if they can be considereddefects. ISO? up to ISO 800/1000 is perfect. I see everyone running behind the last arrival, but I stay with the last of his class and with great satisfaction every time I use it.rn

Pros: Cost, lightweight and compact, image rendering, perfect as a first approach to the world of Reflex

Cons: smooth grip

Opinion: It was the first SLR that made me get into the SLR world. After several years I bought the 5D Mark III clearly another planet, but back to the 1100D, which allowed just got beautiful shots, and I do a long apprenticeship, before you can move on to a FF. The small size and lightweight make it a perfect room to always carry around and then to exploit it to the fullest. The council closed eyes for those who are beginners and do not want to shell out a figure exaggerated.

Pros: Price, weight, intuitiveness

Cons: Obvious limitations from entry level such as ISO and lack dedicated controls

Opinion: This was my first SLR, and I must say that I was really satisfied. I followed the various tips that you always give and I invested in optics before arriving after three years to change the camera body, and I must say it was a real winner. In fact, despite being a good entry level to begin with, can you understand everything you need to do and helps you "formed you" without spending a kidney, undistractedly millemila with dedicated buttons and various screens with data that even at the beginning you would understand . The battery lasts an infinity (it will also be because he has a thousand functions to keep active), is light, practical and does its dirty work. Obviously you can not ask a barrage, after two shots in raw stops panting, you can not ask tropicalization or cleaning the sensor with each power on / off, and even to shoot at ISO 3200 without being detected noise, but you can ask her to give you satisfaction (as long as you mount the optics at least decent), and she will be there ready to make youunderstand how to take pictures, ready to ask when I formed for more performance and you'll know exactly what to look for. Probably not needed who knows what to take good pictures, and, except in special cases, I've never been disappointed. To say that last year I put the Magic Lanter was born again with simple software integrations. RNLA advice to start, I think is ideal.

Pros: cost, battery life, easy to use, lightweight and intuitive

Cons: noise above ISO 800, Plastics and AF points

Opinion: This was by far my first SLR I used a lot and I was never disappointed. I used it for 5 years and I have really been able to experience all kinds of photos, I found myself very well even in shots at night with the bulb; also the price of the car is really ottimo.rnEssendo an entry-level course has the same performance of camera bodies more serious, but its kind I think it's really good "companion adventure" .rnIn the conclusion to recommend those who want to start their adventure with an SLR camera.

Pros: although some performance is not the most maneuverable light are very satisfied with a good menu ridiculously low battery consumption

Cons: 800asa noise after the autofocus is not the best but compared to the cost you can not expect more, if you want more performance you have to shell out more money

Opinion: after four years are still satisfied used in all weather conditions I never gave problems to say that a plasticky but very slight and in the bag with a pair of goals to walk in the mountains, you definitely notice if a sparrow tomorrow I will keep it to a higher model always with me the advice to those facing x the first time in the world of digital photography, Canon use for almost 50 years and I have never been disappointed in

Pros: Cost, battery life, excellent Raw.

Cons: Plasticky, noise elvato to pratire by ISO 1600.

Opinion: I bought this camera a few years now and I must say he has done and still does his egregious lavoro.rnLa advice to all those who want to start using a camera in manual mode, because only in this way should be used, otherwise go for compact !! !! RNI materials are plasticky, but clearly the price justifies the reason .... poor already made to ISO 1600, so little recommended in low illuminazione.rnSono very very interesting Raw that are generated; personally I am very pleased today certainly it is an outdated model but does its great job giving excellent risultati.rn

Pros: Advantageous price, ease of use, size and ergonomics

Cons: Noise at high ISO (above 800), AF inaccurate, lack exposure spot

Opinion: After two years of use, I consider it a good SLR for those who want to look out into the world without spending a fortune: excellent quality, megapixels are ready for operation, good ergonomics although very plasticky, easy to use. The biggest minus is in the ISO, noise from 800 onwards and of little use in 3200 to 6400, as all the rest of the APSC, and as the AF that is not always flawless. The greatest lack in my opinion is the exposure spot, however, is offset in the manner provided.

Pros: Price, Battery Life, 12.2 megapixels

Cons: noise above ISO 400, plasticky, 9-point AF

Opinion: It was my first SLR and still is my only. After 5 months of use I can say that gave me a lot of satisfaction. For those who want to enter the world of photography has everything you need. Its technical limitations may be a problem only for those who make a certain kind of photography - such as sports or wildlife. For me, the slow autofocus and burst almost nonexistent I am not at a problem. The only real negative is the noise at high ISO; in 6400 it is practically unusable. However, if you are interested in photography without major claims you will not be disappointed because, if coupled with more professional optics, allows you take clear pictures and quality.

Pros: Lightweight, Intuitive, "economic"

Cons: noisy

Opinion: Now own the 1100D for 4 years, it was my first SLR and still is. Not being a professional photographer (either because it is not my work, it is because I have all this knowledge) I never thought to take a step forward and buy a reflex better. Despite all the use in any situation to now I've never been disappointed, certainly not performance 6D or 7D, but for those who want to initialize the digital photography without spending a fortune the board with your eyes closed. RNI commands after a quick read to the manual are clear and intuitive, even their location is perfect. With the kit lens (18-55 IS 3.5 / 5.6) have fun a lot, just to have a little imagination and technical knowledge. rnMolti complain the plasticky body and delicate ... I for 4 years and has a scratch, a sign of wear and even the plastic is ruined. Always kept maniacally and in a padded bag, so just give value to the object and will not be destroyed in your mani.rnL'unico defect that unfortunately we see now is the sensibilità at high ISO, already very noisy at ISO 800 that coupled to the low light lens kit, does not allow shots in low light, especially by hand ... with a tripod if the scene I will allow you can safely use more time and ISO low.

Pros: Intuitiveness, light weight, price.

Cons: Construction materials, noise above ISO 800

Opinion: My first "baby" and I am fully satisfied, it is perfect for those who want to approach the world of SLR. With the lens in kit (18-55 Isii) once you take the hand you see already soon the limits, but with a little higher lens makes good photos (already with simple Isii 55-250). Very light and very easy to use, menu commands at the right place and very intuitive. The yield from 800 ISO up is not satisfactory, there is a lot of noise. What you notice a negative comparison with other models (including entry level competitors) is the quality Scarsini construction materials. Despite the limitations the value for money is excellent and with the right lenses can crank out shots much better than expected!

Pros: Economic, ergonomic, simple and functional

Cons: Tenuta Iso, plastic, point AF

Opinion: The entry level for excellence. For those who approach to photography like me is a good car, lightweight, ergonomic and easy to use intuitive er. After a while, however, you are in difficulty in the management of high Iso, and feels the lack of some other point AF. Highly recommended to those who want to start with an SLR but has a limited budget.

Pros: Economic, Lightweight, Fast

Cons: Plasticky, Much Ado over 400 iso, display low quality

Opinion: There are now two years that I have this machine, I can just make a little spending a 'substantial gladly pass on to something superiore.rnSenza doubt a great choice for those who want to enter the world of photography but does not know if there will be, but if you han already clear ideas better to invest a little 'more consistent: to 6 months of purchase we become aware of all the limitations of this machine, at night and evening hours is unusable without a flash, just get up the iso starts seeing a lot of noise in the picture, acceptable up to ISO 400, after which it begins to be quite annoying, needless to say, to 1600 ISO for taking pictures with the stars, the result is very disappointing and it will take a lot of post production to achieve a result accettabile.rnSe you try to zoom in on the display to look at the detail of the focus of the pictures you will not have a vision enough to raise doubts, then using it with manual lenses, for which you are forced to use the display to the focus ( by mirinor you can not figure out if the subject is in focus but on occasions you use the manual focus), the poor quality of the display you sentire.rnViste limitations is still a great product to start: it forces you to learn how to use it in order to achieve better results with higher performance machines that would otherwise be very less difficoltà.rnNonostante defects, however, situations in daylight will give great satisfaction, purchased for € 360 with the kit 18-55, at the time I could not afford more expenses, view I think that the devaluation does not sell it, and rather will transform photographic IR.rnTutto seen in all the price is still a great product.

Pros: Good ergonomics, excellent yield photos and video.

Cons: Structure with significant use of plastic.

Opinion: Not waiting for me great results from the Canon 1100D, as entry-level SLR, when I tried it are amazed to note the excellent quality 'of photos and videos offered. Sure, the body-machine 'built with high quality materials' as her sisters more 'noble, but the use is not' not bad at all, thanks to its good ergonomics. I think that if you were using this camera with optical quality ', surely would offer superior results to all expectations.

Pros: Small, light, handy features for beginners.

Cons: Plasticky,

Opinion: It 'was my first DSLR and I was completely satisfied, the cost of this machine was appropriate to the type of camera that I expected. Has its limitations, this is no doubt, but too often we think that the simple fact of changing body their photos quickly become good photos. In fact this machine allows you to enter the world of SLR and start snapping allowing to dedicate resources to the purchase of better optics.

Pros: Ideal camera for people like me who started from just taking pictures, simple controls and guessed.

Cons: Iso high noisy

Opinion: To start I think is the ideal machine, easy to understand and use, you get good pictures even with the 18-55 kit, I have also used the Tamron 70-300 4.5-5.6vc and with the canon 50mm 1.8 and I must say that I am also the best shots at high ISO noise is there and you lose the details, I sold it for passage 60D because I needed cash otherwise I would have held as a war machine.

Pros: everything needs an entry level, without unnecessary frills. good detail rendition even with optical scarce, good color gamut, forzuta battery life, very simple in resolution and also in the commands and functions, high dynamic range, fun to use.

Cons: construction materials and uncomfortable plasticosissimi, made unwatchable at high iso, (but it is a entry level), the display sometimes misleading ...

Opinion: It 'was my first SLR, and every day I regret more and more to have it sold, was simple, very creative, intuitive and full-bodied with optical thickness gives photos, for those who want to learn how to take pictures I think there is nothing better , accompanied me for two years, two years to say the least beautiful, even for those who already have a lot of experience the board, perhaps to put in your bag and use it when you have to hand your camera body confidence!

Pros: Great entry level, light, raw, battery life

Cons: small, plasticky, yield high iso, autofocus

Opinion: Coming from the film, was the first digital SLR that I had, so for a while, 'I looked like a monster machine. Over time, you begin to see or limits, autofocus slow and imprecise, taking uncomfortable for me (which I have enormous hands). But all in all I took away the satisfactions, of course I threw away the 18-55 II (however decent lens) and replaced them with a 50 1.8 and everything has changed. It 's simple to understand, even if the results are quite erratic, is full of functions (such as portrait, landscape, etc. ..) in my opinion useless, only attract the mass consumer. You could remove and put some more dedicated key. rnTutto all if you do not have large claims is a nice toy and a good school at an affordable price, then cheaply you can buy one optical most satisfying and fun. Replaced with 6d and 1d mk II, but not sell it for sentimental value. He will remain with all its faults, first love

Cons: Missing the Battery Grip. Plasticky. Handle small. Fps. Autofocus. Live View. Only 9 points of focus

Opinion: The use with the aim of the kit with the 55-250 and sometimes even with the speedlite 430exii and I must say that knows how to give satisfaction for the use that I do. Pros: 12mp good photos. Price. Lightness. Everything at your fingertips. Battery life.

Cons: Autofocus. Resolution LCD screen. Viewfinder pentamirror. Quality at high ISO and lack intermediate values. Lack of grip. (Video)

Opinion: I have this camera for a year and a half, and in that time I learned to use it as you have to start manuale.rnPer mode is great: small, light, cheap, and above all extremely simple! The controls are just necessary and all within reach of the right thumb. Taken with the kit 18-55 3.5-5.6 IS II is a good all-rounder. The battery then lasts forever! RnrnMa is not perfect. ISO up to 6400, but over 400 quality decays quickly, and you can not select intermediate values ??(but automatically I happened to see "ISO 500"). From the low-resolution LCD screen often do not appreciate good photo quality (especially in the shadows with iso "high"). Pentamirror coverage with "only" 95%, little and dark. The smooth plastic is not conducive to grips with objectives "heavy" then it is quite sbilanciata.rnIl system focusing in low light conditions is disappointing, especially if you do not use the center cross point (compared with 19 in all d crossshe 7D seems out of the Stone Age: () rnRiprese video in up to 720p and only in automatic mode. However, quality apprezzabile.rnrnTirando sums: a great start and learn how to use a DSLR as it should. Pros: Price, picture quality, light weight

Cons: Scarcity of controls, building

Opinion: The Canon EOS 1100D is an SLR essential that, despite the very low price does not save the image quality. RnSulla output of the sensor, in fact, I can only be happy for me 12 Mp are more than enough and - perhaps thanks to the low density of the sensor - the high ISO performance is good. Personally I prefer not to exceed ISO 1600, while in 3200 and 6400 the picture becomes a little can also be used to correct the RAW file with Lightroom.rnLa machine is a bit 'most lacking from other points of view: the building is probably the most economical as possible, with a plastic body and tough-looking little solid (mostly) without even a rubber-grip.rnI commands are few and simple, and it would be useful to have a dedicated button for the selection of ISO next to the shutter button: the settings you can make sure that the flash pop-up button performs this function, but at that point is the flash can no longer be activated rapidamente.rnNon I've never heard the mancance of other features, such as autofocus in video or swivel screen; also the size of the monitor, in my opinion, are so light adeguate.rnUn device can be carried around for a long time, even with larger lenses in the 18-55 kit: I walk very often with the machine hanging from his belt, and not I feel the peso.rnSi body is a machine suitable for beginners (like me, that when I purchased it I had never handled a DSLR), but it is sufficient to endow it targets a bit 'more to notice a substantial improvement in performance: I I use it with a Canon 17-85 and a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM, and none of the two lenses seem "wasted" with the 1100D.rn

Pros: Good image rendering, ease of use, intuitive, ottimissimo quality / price ratio, light (given by a bit too much plasticosità) excellent performance even at ISO medioalti. Great HD video; Great EntryLevel.

Cons: Too plastic. focus does not continue for the automatic video. In not excel. You have to set it well to get good pictures.

Opinion: It 'a EntryLevel full of everything you must have a SLR. Great for beginners to approach the world of photography. In automatic mode, as almost all SLR cameras, does not excel, ansi sometimes combines a lot of trouble, but if well set gives you great photos. For the price it is highly recommended to start. Pros: A good picture quality, easy and intuitive an entry level SLR really good! The Raw then highlight the potential 'of this machine

Cons: too plastic, fault really annoying .... In situations of low luminosity 'to ISO400 the result already' and 'disastrous

Opinion: Despite all this if I had to choose again buy another one with my eyes closed! But over time you start to feel a little closer to the yield of iso after the 400. In my opinion, a camera such as this can be a great school for those who love photography, and know how to use in the right way it can give great satisfaction, then maybe if we combined an optic good, then you will look like in my case to have a camera higher-level

Pros: Cost, relatively light and portable, photo quality quite good, especially with the possibility of RAW

Cons: Building a bit 'plasticky and not of great quality, a few bursts of frames per second (3), HD video without continuous fire, 12mp photos

Opinion: I would say that the machine is essential for those who want to get started without having to spend a fortune on buying professional machines, definitely not suitable for use of typography for large prints, but no doubt you have the quality of all cameras on a machine by the low price , and then like all the other can fit a wide range of objectives (which is essential for an SLR) that do not behave badly even with the body of the 1100s. I recommend it to people who want to enter the world of photography, and then maybe if you feel the passion in the future will be able to change the machine without repenting of the amount spent previously.

Pros: Cost, simplicity, raw

Cons: Mp, speed

Opinion: Bought as entry level is a good choice for those who are new to the SLR world, has the ability to shoot in RAW but the burst speed is slow, jpeg improves slightly. 12 megapixels today there are very few compared to other models but are more than enough to print in A3 also create very little noise even at ISO 6400 compared to more expensive machines. Given so little resolution photo is cut to a minimum.

I bought it on the advice of a friend, and I am not sorry for anything, I consider it a good starting point to have fun and experiment. With the zoom (I have a 75-300) goes a little haywire in focus and "azzurrisce" a little everything, but I think with the low price (450 Euro) and the endowment of Kit (75-300 + 18 - 55) I do not think you should have too many claims

Cons: The video leaves a bit to be desired, manual focus

Opinion: I am very pleased that I bought this little gem of Mom canon. After 2 months of use with the 18-55 I bought the fifty f 1:8 a toy lens of 94 €, which continues to give me a lot of satisfaction, bright useful for portraits, blurred. Pros: Weight, quality / price ratio, ability to shoot movies

Cons: Plasticky, small LCD monitor

Opinion: The Canon EOS 1100D is definitely the perfect car for those who want to begin to approach the world of photography, she has lots of help menus and the great price (around 350 € with 18-55 kit) helps the neophyte for choice. The only flaw is the "plasticositá" of the camera body but returns a good grip. Not suitable for those seeking to enter the world of video making it is impossible to change values ??while in video mode. For the rest recommended.

Opinion: Canon EOS 1100D to start the car and certainly consigliare.rnCorpo light reflex buttons and controls are well positioned and a menu entry level and therefore does not have the pretensions of the more blasonati.rnEconomica seems to me that now the market is about 350 euro . rnNota painful for me and flash and a little weakling though cm ² and always a built-in flash and 12 megapixel series and videos qualità.rnCmq not very good in the end and a good machine makes great pictures, decent video and does not cost much . rn

Pros: It has everything you need to get closer to a neophyte to the world of SLR at a price that's affordable!

Cons: I think I paid 299 euro for it in a kit with 18-55 lens (non-stabilized) does not have

Opinion: I state that I started with the idea of ??taking a Canon 60d but never having had a camera I was very indecisive and I had many doubts ... So I decided to postpone the purchase and to start with something cheaper: the 1100d .. . I felt comfortable, great feeling and ease of use (thanks to the quick start guide this directly on the display). I used it in automatic mode only the first day, then I switched to manual mode and semi-automatic without difficulty ... One thing that disturbs me is the plastic grip perhaps a little too "fragile": sometimes I feel some click, a coating there would be good (like those of the bodies XXXD) ... Another problem I encountered is the difficulty of opening the battery door: to open it without any problems you have to have long nails ... rnih conclusion excellent machine for those who want to venture into the world of SLR if it is at a good price, or if the difference is only 100 EUR suggest you go on the bodies XXXD ... rnrn

Pros: Great quality / price ratio, slight

Cons: Little one screen

Opinion: Since this reflex is sold as entry level is a great way to start photographing and understand the picture without having to spend a fortune to bring home a new macchina.rnHa all it takes to make beautiful pictures, light, therefore excellent for travel, also good for making videos, has all the classic settings reflex.rnA gave me a beautiful soddisfazioni.rnTornassi in behind would do the same choice.

Pros: small, handy, easy to use and quite creative

Cons: since I got to learn I do not have many claims .... cmq I noticed that a few megapixels in more 'would not hurt ...

Opinion: I state that I have entered the world of photography by chance, about 2 years ago I gave my brother this little reflex but 'for obvious reasons, I always saw in the drawer then a day of excitement I got it in my hand and I took a ride. some shots ..., and some evidence from them and 'all started, I find the camera perfect for learning .... of course, we must not be too great pretensions' cause I had taken with the 18-55 kit lens .... now that I match to a 17-40 L and I are equipped enough with a decent easel RIECO to do little things pleasing to the eye, I hope one day to be able to make shots worthy of note and I'll definitely finche'non ' learned almost all the techniques of photography this beautiful machine will remain 'in my backpack .........

Pros: Excellent quality / price ratio

Cons: Monitor small, low resolution and aspect plasticky

Opinion: I was tired of bad pictures that came with the compact in low-light conditions, as well on various suggestions I decided to upgrade to a DSLR, and actually jump was abysmal. This will also be the economic SLR + for sale, but the quality of photos that you can do is out of the question. Obviously it takes a lot 'of practice before you understand how to use it better, but certainly gives her great satisfaction, not to mention that however much also depends on the optics being used. The council then to anyone who wants to try for the first time an SLR.

Pros: Good detail despite "only" 12 megapixels, especially in Raw

Cons: Smaller monitor cameras series XXXD, largest of XXXD series cameras, flash underpowered risetto the past. Video no manual controls, with a single resolution and without external microphone

Opinion: It 'a good camera, innovative, with a good video in HD instead of Full HD. The noise is well contained, but less of the "old" 1000D. Despite being the baby of the range Canon 1000D aside, it is the largest of the bigger and more LCD display has a smaller and less detailed. It 's great 2.7 "with a resolution of 320x240 px, against that of the 550D 3", with a resolution of 640x480 px. The video mode is not great, it is no manual controls, the only resolution setting and no connection for an external microphone. If I had to choose a basic camera would take a 1000D even if it has less exposure measurement zones (64 vs 35), an older processor and seven autofocus points compared to 9. But the 1000D is lighter and more manageable. Otherwise I would take a 550D superior in all respects.
