nikon_d780Nikon D780

Pros: aufotocus live view fast and precise, compact and solid body, comfortable grip, high range, double slot SD cards, easy to use.... very similar to the D750 (in use), held at high ISOs

Cons: battery grip and flash pop up absent... but for me that I don't shoot burst and flash is not a problem

Opinion: Taken on Sunday morning and used in the afternoon... 200 shots are not enough to make judgments, but as I took it in my hand I had no problems. Used at the motor show in Turin... particular place with little light in general and only a few overlit points, but on this occasion it was very well bought. It also has to be taken into account that I was working with the zoom of the 24-120 F4 kit and I did not want to mount more high-performance lenses deliberately. In my gallery you will find some shots with , practically, zero post-production (apart from frame and signature)... are the JPEGs that churn out the machine itself. I also used it outdoors and didn't have any kind of problem. The thing that struck me most in general is the surrender in the dark. focuses and the photo is good (ISO 25600). Very similar to the D750 aesthetically and as I use. but it's a whole other machine. On the video department I do not pronounce because I did not use it and I will not use it much. In my opinion it is worth upgrading the D750 considering that, until the end of March 2020 I think, there is an incentive of 200.00 euros. PS-Download Camera Raw 12.2 (or Lightroom Classic 9.2) otherwise you won't be able to open RAW files

sigma_18-35_f1-8Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art

Pros: Construction, image quality, brightness, internal zoom, fluidity of nuts ... takes you out of trouble in the most difficult situations

Cons: ... When no one in particular ... maybe the price if it is used ...

Opinion: Bought almost by accident ... or rather I was in my local store to see a Sigma 17-70 f / 2.8-4 when the shopkeeper told me: "I also have a Sigma 18-35 f / 1.8 ... Art used ... you want to try it? ... it's a nice goal very bright ... ". Obviously I try, I do some shooting in the store, I see that is very bright, the quality looks good, and after a while I decide to take it. It home and begin to do the tests, but be honest and do not satisfy me pienemente. Fortunately my judgment changes to the first semi-serious use (say half-seriously because I'm not a professional photographer, but ...). They ask me to take pictures inside on two separate occasions ... do not tell you the surprise when I saw the files ... is an understatement to say bright, beautiful to say even less, with a blurred soft and very pleasant .. .. then again ... i'm not a professional, but the results are great (obviously without the flash) ... i can not give technical judgments, but if you know how to use properly produces perfect file. One must of course have a minimo knowledge of the basics of photography (aperture, speed, ISO) otherwise it is awkward to use and automatically (tried) does not give good results. Also excellent in those situations with backlit subject when with normal lenses you can not fix anything and you have to resort to the flash. Mine does not suffer from f / b focus and I coupled to a Nikon D5300. Surely it is to have if you make pictures in internal, unfortunately I have not had the chance to try it out for sporting events and so can not say if this is af lightning or not. Finally I can say that it is very good and recommend it to tutti.rn ... and anyway, just to finish the story first, then son came home with two goals, 18-35 and 17-70.rnCiao at all. ..spero this my humble tale may serve other pe choose the right target.
