Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Pros: Price, size, stabilized, 55mm good ability portrait of APSC. Cons: is an f / 4 - f/5.6 then not very bright, not very distinct, f slow and most times inaccurate, materials plasticky, uncomfortable manual focus ring is too thin. Opinion: Objective purchased in a kit with my camera, that is what it costs and do not be surprised lightness and plasticosità materials. Despite the use that I do, mainly in the studio (Food and Still life) and then manual focus, most of the time is not very clear. For a detail satisfactory to the best of f / 8. Bokeh is not exceptional as not going well down the backlight. The autofocus is loud, unsure and uncertain, the image stabilizer, always using a tripod, do not actually have seen its effectiveness. Jerky zoom ring (problem improved in the second generation). The focal range is quite useful on APSC good angle though not very thorough, to the maximum focal length 55mm has a good ability portrait. I personally used as a "gym" workout when I introduced into SLR photography and is still in service for all the images that I uploaded here on JuzaPhoto. Goal that gives me some satisfaction tuttosommato provided it is used "in the manual". Recommended instead for the price. sent on June 26, 2012 |
Canon 500D Pros: Size, weight, price, full hd video Cons: Af is not the best, sound files used by ISO 800-1600, continuous slow nature and action, lack of manual control parameters filming and external microphone input Opinion: My first digital SLR camera bought just over two years ago, at the beginning, as is normal, it seemed perfect seems particular defects, now after a year of use "more conscious" it shows some limitations. Not excessive, but I have to say sometimes uncomfortable such as noise that makes it unusable already iso 800-1600, or for people who do wildlife photography or action af the not very fast and sometimes inaccurate and slow burst shooting ( 3.4 fps). I use it mainly for food, still life, portraits and some landscapes and both the burst and the slow af not very precise limits are not great for me ... Most of the time I focus manually in live view and resolve. Very good instead in terms of size and weight, for those who want to take with you on the go without sacrificing convenience, the price tag is a pro, is now very little. For people like me who uses the video full hd appreciate this feature, maybe a little 'less the fact of not being able to manually control the parameters of recovery, and the inability to use an external microphone (no input), as early as possible sister more 550d. A camera that is little more than a normal entry level recommended for people like me who started from almost completely inexperienced. The only thing I suspect is that to come up with something we want Satisfactory optics at least average quality. sent on May 07, 2012 |
