Nikon D3100 Pros: Small, lightweight, good compatible optics, long lasting battery, great machine body. Cons: It has a single bezel, few controls, viewfinder with poor coverage, complicated focus, slow, a lot of noise from 800 ISO. Opinion: Back then, it was my first Nikon, my father's last gift before he left me for cancer in 2017, now I'm 33 years old. This year I bought a NikonD7500 and despite not being the TOP of the range, it has really better qualities. However, the D3100 I will always carry in my heart. The cameras used previously were all compact from Sony, and I've never had the same wonderful result that this camera can give in daylight or with the help of an external flash mount of all kinds, setting things up manually. For what I used it, initially in an amateur way photographing landscapes, flowers and cats, I found it satisfying despite the age of the camera body. I find that the information of the display, despite not being touchscreen is enough to make good shots. It's very good to learn. I found a lot of difficulty on noise, already with 1600 iso. At the time I didn't have adobe Lightroom to fix and I really struggled to photograph the evening with still light. In general, I prefer it a lot compared to a latest generation Iphone, they have too many automatisms, with her it was a beautiful experience that I will continue to carry in my heart even if I will still change cameras over the years. Thanks Nikon D3100. You also allowed me to immortalize Ambramarie Facchetti before Covid19 broke out. sent on December 26, 2021 |
