sigma_17-70macro_os2Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS HSM Macro C

Pros: Dimensions and easy handling

Cons: In my opinion no one, perhaps the hood not very protective

Opinion: I bought this lens because I needed an all-rounder, and I must say that I am fully satisfied. Compact, lightweight, bright, excellent image quality, I think I become a good travel companion. I am currently using it with a big stop filter and I must say that I am very satisfied, even not being very experienced in the use of these filters. What can I say, I recommend it.

canon_100-400iiCanon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM II

Pros: I'd say everything

Cons: It doesn't hold up the filters (UV) in my case, otherwise nothing

Opinion: Gorgeous goal, awesome AF speed and with the 7D Mark ii in my opinion the AF is something unique. Only uncomfortable but it is really a crap, the system of release of the trepia bracket is a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately initially I used it with a protective UV filter as I always did, but I then discovered that the cause of soft photos and micromoves was just him, once removed is I could appreciate its great quality, the low weight makes it really very as versatile as zooming, you won't be disappointed if you buy it. L-series always a guarantee.

canon_100is_macrolCanon EF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM

Pros: All... simply perfect throughout

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: A lens of exceptional quality, robust well done as all top of the Canon range, it never disappoints. Great for Macros but also superb with Portraits, it knows how to give really stratospheric boken, I highly recommend, once you try you will never leave it. Image quality and color rendering at the top in my opinion, to date after years of use I can not find a flaw in this optics.

sigma_8-16Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM

Pros: Construction and quality

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: A truly spectacular goal, it offers great satisfaction. Robust and well done, distortion in my opinion relatively contained for an 8mm, really exceptional color rendering, The 8mm lampshade does not protect the spherical lens much so you always have to be very careful, in my opinion the only downside is that in order to mount filters you have to take expensive adapters. For me it still remains one of the best wide angles around.

sigma_120-300osSigma 120-300mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM

Pros: Superlative sharpness, boken, quality with 2x multiplier, very robust construction, the bracket comes in handy for transport being very heavy

Cons: High cost, weight (long walks are not recommended), lack of a focus limiter, FAST AF (but very far from L-series canons) and unfortunately not up to all situations on fast-moving subjects.

Opinion: What to say, once you buy the wallet for sure it is lighter, but its image quality gives great satisfaction. It's not for everyone, its weight really makes you feel, and carrying it with it sometimes was really gruelling, if mounted on monopod sits very well on the shoulder, and also the tripod bracket is very comfortable for transport. Too bad I don't have a focus limiter, and sometimes on fast scenes I missed some great scenes for this problem as the Af goes into tilt and does the whole lap before hanging up the subject, this for me is a big flaw in such a goal. Certainly if at the same cost the Af was on the same level as an L-series Canon would be the perfect target. Gives stratospheric bokens, holds up well the multipliers (2x in my case) Af slows down a lot though, but on subjects not in rapid motion churns out really remarkable files.

canon_7d_mark2Canon 7D Mark II

Pros: Construction, ergonomics speed AF, born for speed

Cons: In the same place my suffering at high ISO,and the battery drains quickly, but the problem is solved with a spare or possibly a battery grip

Opinion: What to say, coming from a 550D the jump is great, professional machine, at first impact can scare the myriad of possible AF settings, but once set properly gives great emotions! Impressive AF speed, in AI SERVO with 65 active points is really scary. Very convenient the ability to customize the keys to your liking.
