Olympus OM-D E-M10 III Pros: Stabilizer, construction, aesthetics, jpg Exceptional, is not an entry level Cons: Customizing the keys virtually nothing, no AFC/tracking Opinion: I've had this camera for 6 months and I can't do anything but talk about it. I have never owned a professional camera but in these months of use I really enjoyed it!. It's a pleasure to shoot in a manual with this little beast. The JPEG is just great and the stabilizer allows ridiculous times. At 12 mm I was able to shoot even at 1 ' ' freehand without a shake. The construction and aesthetics then are the top. The real sore point concerns the continuous autofocus or the tracking. I have practically never managed to use it or to make shots with a precise focus, but this is definitely depended on my lack of experience. Only two keys are editable on the machine, but the rest of the settings is still well organized (so it is not a true cons). Live composite and live time really useful and there are also the bracketing of exposure and focus so I would not categrate it as an entry level... As far as I'm concerned this camera has everything that a photo amateur and a non-professional needs. Absolutely recommended. sent on September 10, 2018 |
