canon_eos_m6_iiCanon EOS M6 Mark II

Pros: excellent focus, good grip, 14fps burst (wanting 30), file quality, external EVF

Cons: screen not fully articulated

Opinion: after a couple of months of use I can say that I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. I took it despite knowing that soon the M line will die because I wanted to make the leap in MP and burst quality from my old 70D and I didn't want to wait for the new APS-C with RF attack. The thing I immediately liked about the car was the lightning and super precise focus, then now that I've also taken the 70-300 L IS USM it's a pleasure to go and take pictures of the animals. Another thing I liked is the separate EVF. Depending on what I do I keep it mounted or not (street photography and macro on easel I do not keep it, while birdlife yes). For birdlife it is very convenient to focus by looking into the viewfinder and touching the screen and using it as if it were a joystick. At high ISOs it holds up to 3200 ISOs quite well, beyond the files they are almost unusable. For macro photos I do I'm usually super happy because so natively I have bigger files to be able to print fine art without having to go into oversampling. Video side I haven't used it yet. During the purchase phase you have to almost compulsorily take the peak design plate that allows you to decentrall it, thus making the battery accessible by holding the plate attached, an additional battery, a UHS-II SD.

canon_70-300lCanon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM

Pros: sharpness, not too heavy

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: taken used by RCE and I must say that I am hyper satisfied. I had almost abandoned nature photography because I didn't have a decent canvas and switching from DOIS to this was a phenomenal leap. In combination with the new MKII M6 it is a pleasure to see the focus speed and sharpness of the photos. Having taken it used I also had the advantage of taking one that had already understood the bracket (not original), but for 940€ it was an absolute best buy.
