fujifilm_x_pro2Fujifilm X-Pro2

Pros: Hybrid sight, tropicalization, ergonomics, speed.

Cons: Prohibitive eyepoint with glasses. Shutter dial block button in "A" mode.

Opinion: I used, for work and pleasure, many analog and digital cameras. From medium format (Hasselblad and Mamiya) to 35mm (Nikon F3, Fm2, d300, d700... etc). I believe that the Fuji system and, in particular, its cameras with decentralized viewfinder are, for those with the dominant right eye, the non plus ultra for street photography. They are: light, ergonomic (especially for those who come from the analog cameras of the time), discreet and with an excellent image quality (both in color and in b/n). The x-pro2 has all the keys in the right place, a fast and precise AF and a "one and three" crosshairs, really extraordinary. It's the best of itself in pairs with fixed optics (from 18mm to 35mm). 2 weights to improve: 1) really reduced eyepoint (problematic for those who use glasses) 2) the superfluous shutter key pad in automatic mode, which greatly slows the transition to normal shooting times.

Pros: lightness, excellent file

Cons: evf/lcd cumbersome selection, layout of some physical controls

Opinion: First review. I only do street so my opinion will be entirely focused on this type of use. Small and light, passes quite unnoticed, at least with fixed lenses and not too bright. I use it with the 35 mm f2, alongside a x100s. The quality of the files fuji aps-c sector is well known, for me there is no comparison. AF pretty quick and precise even in non-optimal lighting conditions. We come to the painful notes. Not about ever immediately the photos shot on the street, but when I do I have to enter the menu, through the evf, to be able to select the lcd screen! I find the AF-L button layout and somewhat uncomfortable, especially when AE-L use the hyperfocal distance and I happen to frame vertically. Often pigio involuntarily AF-L and you change the preset focus. I'll probably be forced to cover them with tape.
