zeiss_milvus135_f2Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2

Pros: Color rendering, micro-contrast, sharpness, build quality.

Cons: Absence of a dedicated case

Opinion: I have the Canon version and I currently combine it with an R6 with battery grip. A lens that I would recommend, very nice the detachment of the planes and the transition from focus to defocus. The blurry is soft and the colors it reproduces are very beautiful, from the surrounding landscape to the complexion even shooting only in natural light (which I rarely do). It is a very sharp lens at all focal distances, the focus is very precise: at the beginning a little duretta but after a short break-in period it is much softer and smoother. Using it with mirrorless and with the various focus peaking does not slow down a photo session: I tried to test it here at Santa Monica Pier, a very crowded area full of colors and contrasts. Excellent contrast in backlight, well balanced on the body to which it is combined. Bought together with the camera body at a great price with the idea in mind of reselling it to earn something: after the first shots I immediately changed my mind. This lens remains stable in my kit and has become the one I prefer the most.

canon_100is_macrolCanon EF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM

Pros: Sharpness, lightness, tropicalization, blurred, contrast, color rendering price

Cons: The enclosure provided.

Opinion: My work horse portraits and headshots in professional scope. Excellent lens, not barrel a focus, sharp. The files are well contrasted, out of the excellent plans, rarely on the outside I get over F4 so much blurs to great. For the same reason in the studio the close-ups to get everything in focus I happen to also work between F8 and F11. It is the focal par excellence in portraits.

sigma_30_f1-4Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM (old)

Pros: Opening, build quality, color rendition, sharpness.

Cons: Inaccurate autofocus (but with calibration is fine).

Opinion: Purchased used to 210 € for a standard of canon 80d, I much prefer to 50cc for images that makes me. Suffered very beginning of the classic front / back focus randomly, but then calibrating it with FOCAL program is now also clear to TA. I use it for both portrait (I find it more clearly the canon 50) for landscape / architecture and the latter very often at night. The blur is pleasant despite not having a perfectly circular bokeh. A used purchase definitely recommended for the price / quality of construction / yield
