Lago di Limedes

Il lago di Limedes, un diamante incastonato tra le Dolomiti d'Ampezzo sotto al col Gallina e a due passi dall'Averau. Dal lago si dispone di una vista a più di 180° includendo alcune tra le cime più belle e importanti delle Dolomiti, da sinistra a destra si può vedere: Sass de Stria, Lagazuoi, Fanis, Col dei Bos, Tofana di Rozes, Punta Anna (Tofana di Mezzo), Cristallo e Averau. Il lago non è grandissimo e non è alimentato da corsi d'acqua perciò di giorno non è molto fotogenico per via del colore verde del letto del lago, il meglio di sé lo dà verso sera quando le meravigliose cime attorno ad esso si riflettono sulle sue acque, inoltre l'enrosadira che si forma su alcune cime in alcuni periodi dell'anno sono strepitose, lasciano a bocca aperta. Insomma il Limedes è una mecca per i paesaggisti, impossibile fotografare le Dolomiti e non esserci mai stati.
