Born in Udine in '73, I was immediately influenced by the interest in images, photographic equipment, black and white printing, music in general, audio equipment for the faithful reproduction of sound events. After all, contamination was inevitable having taken the first steps among vinyls, turntables, amplifiers, lenses and camera bodies, prints, slides, projectors .. It was precisely the constant presence of my father and all his wonderful toys that stimulated a particular sensitivity and propensity in me, it was enough to go along with this suggestion in an extremely natural way to evolve some ability in these fields over time. Subsequently, the vocation towards nature photography was harmoniously combined with the passion for hiking, trekking and travel in general. As a nostalgic recalcitrant as I define myself, the approach with digital photography has been perfected between doubts and perplexities: for years I have taken thousands of photographs, printing black and white in my darkroom, using a great camera, the Pentacon Six with Zeiss optics; however, over time, I have "resigned myself" adapting to progress so much that now I concretely appreciate its versatility and practicality.
