![]() | Genesis C5 Pros: Price, weight, stability, ease of use, equipment, materials Cons: Lack of column usage horizontally Opinion: Having a granite Manfrotto 055 and a small and light ManFrotto BeFree that I used exclusively for the macro needed something easier to carry but would allow the use of heavy-duty reflexes for photographic hunting. Tested in the field I could appreciate the lightness (just over 2 kg with BH-40 head in kit) the ease of transport with its 52 cm closed and the ease of use with leg rotation lock (although I still prefer the lever system I think is faster). Despite its lightness, it has always been solid and well grounded even at the full extension of the legs and without the need for further anchoring through the hook under the column which may still be helpful in critical conditions. Comfortable and practical to unlatch a leg so that it can be used as a monopod, I find it useful especially in sheds or in tight spaces. Included in neoprene padding of detachable leg (with Manfrotto despite the much higher price I had to buy it apart), practical padded carrying bag with an additional rubber cap for the legs. The only new thing I've found so far is the lack of the horizontal position, the position that is indispensable for still-life photographers or studio photographers. Conclusion: tripods with great quality / price ratio, incredible ductility (practically it can be used for almost everything) and dulcis in the sixth guarantee of the manufacturer. sent on November 14, 2017 |
