![]() | Sony A9 II Pros: Autofocus, High ISO Hold, Battery Life, Sensor Cons: App connectivity Opinion: Taken to do "sport" there dominates without problems, AF errors are not even 1% of the shots I take during a game. In combination with the 200/600 I can go up with the ISO without worries, although after 3200 the tones tend to turn cold (but that's okay). Although with 24MP the possibilities of cropping are endless those very few times that I do birdlife I would like to have at least 33MP - problematic in case of sports workflow, so that's okay. On the connection side, always having to send photos at the end of the game, Sony's app is quite poor. I would also like there to be some on-camera editing, very simple, such as shadows/lights, exposure. sent on November 12, 2024 |
![]() | Sony A7C Pros: Compact, lightweight, lightning-fast AF, exceptional tracking, 24mpx Cons: Small viewfinder Opinion: I had bought it new as soon as it came out and with it I started selling the Nikon kit. We were starting to come out of the Covid period that had annihilated all my photographic expectations. With the A7C I started to savor photography little by little. It fit snugly in your pocket, the files that came out were far better than the D750. With the A7C I could also attach Nikon lenses to it without losing AF and tracking with the Viltrox adapter (58, 80/400, 105 the lenses I used regularly). As I used it, I sold Nikon lenses for Sony lenses. With Sony A7C+100/400 I took photos of Serie C football and Rugby Serie A and the autofocus "ate" the Nikon without problems. And with the ML it was a luxury already "seeing" the exposure etc. I then sold it for the A7IV, which I loved a lot for ergonomics but little for the heavier files, a little noisier although much more engraved. I bought it again a few weeks ago used, at a very low price, and now it joins an A9II and the combination satisfies me a lot. Maybe the small and off-center viewfinder is not very comfortable when you want to shoot with one hand and the 70/200 mounted on, but this is a fairly rare case. sent on January 10, 2024 |
![]() | Tamron 24mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 Pros: lightness, sharpness, price, size, minimum focusing distance, colors Cons: I struggle to find some Opinion: I could do copy paste with the one written by Adfpalermo but compared to other lenses more expensive sony I can not make comparisons because I have not tried. I use it on a7c. I am fully satisfied also for the price purchased just over 200 euros used on amazon. it has in my opinion much more character than the 28 sony and a better yield than the 24 1.8 nikon (but here I think it depends a lot on the goodness of the sensor) sent on September 23, 2021 |
