![]() | Venus Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D Pros: Price, tiny size, construction quality (all metal), sharpening even at 2.8, few distortions easily reduced with lightroom. For the videos I mount the variable ND filter with reducing ring from 77mm to 49mm. Cons: Almost nothing. Totally manual and without electronic contact, so it does not communicate with the machine body. Opinion: Taken used as new at a great price on Ebay with shipping from the US. I've wanted to try Venus Laowa optics for a long time and now I can call myself a fan of theirs and I can't wait to buy more. Easy to focus on peaking my Sony alpha. Amazing how small it is, when I received the package I thought it was a joke, but instead the quality and sharpness of the shots is stunning especially for its price. sent on May 15, 2021 |
![]() | Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN C Pros: Perfect compatibility with Sony E-mount. Cons: For now nothing Opinion: I got this goal for Christmas, I often work as a photographer of events and this 16 mm so bright would have been a perfect ally for this type of photography. And so it was. Fun, clear, autofocus that responds well, considering that I shoot almost in the dark, in a room with black walls and flash Sony that mirrorless does not have the Focus Assistant IR.rnI wanted to give confidence to Sigma because I hope that soon start to produce more targets for E-mount. rnBought with Amazon Prime, 450 euros well invested.rnSome shots are visible in my gallery "Event Photography" sent on December 27, 2017 |
