![]() | Fujifilm X-H1 Pros: Construction and feeling of robustness, file quality, customizations, ergonomics, effectiveness of stabilization Cons: Battery life, some hesitation in AFC, battery grip connection Opinion: Taken at the time of the price drop and super cashback in September 2019 since then it has always been my main camera used both for leisure and for especially sporting events (Millemiglia and the like). Honestly I must say that I have never had the slightest difficulty or found myself in a situation where the H1 did not prove to be up to par for prstazioni and quality. Used with red badges or fixed, it produces detailed and chromatically rich files and as GD. The AFC struggles a bit in some situations, especially in terms of correct coupling, but using AF-On with manual focus and correct setting the situations in which you run into difficulty are drastically reduced. The very effective stabilization affects the life of the batteries (the same battery on Xpro3 or even on XT30 easily lasts me almost twice as long as the shots) and here the battery grip comes very useful. Unfortunately I have to find on this always difficulty to restore the correct connection to the camera after removing it. The battery grip is also useful as a dual charger! sent on December 31, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon D610 Pros: Excellent dynamic range, yield with AF-D optics, general solidity Cons: Low light performance (autofocus), current value hold Opinion: I used the D610 with pleasure for four years and about 200,000 shots, then replaced to switch to Medium Format. I found myself well in almost all shooting situations except those where it was necessary to stress the autofocus system as birdlife and low light shots. For the first one I solved by adding a more performing DX body such as AF, while for poor light it is enough to work in manual focus. Nothing to say about the performance of a sensor that I still see is still among the best and certainly can represent an economic entry point (in 2021 now a lot) in the Full Frame. I have never had any problems or hesitations and it seemed to me very well built and able to withstand even some mistreatment. sent on March 20, 2021 |
![]() | Ricoh GR III Pros: Compactness and solid construction, image quality, operational speed. Macro function Cons: Basically the battery Opinion: Purchased for delicious I soon tuned in and replaced whatever other compact I had in use. This was quite predictable, minus the fact that slowly it would replace other types of cameras in my daily use: I discovered and appreciated its ability to do anything. It is by no means a camera just for the Street but defends and gives satisfaction in many areas such as landscape, set portrait and even a macro-like. Excellent lens for sharpness and color quality. Always ready thanks to its operational speed and compactness. I hope it is built to last, the impression it postpones is that. The only real note I move is related to the battery, obviously tiny and therefore not very large. Luckily very cheap and light spare batteries to take with you sent on December 02, 2020 |
