![]() | Tokina AT-X 12-28mm f/4 PRO DX Pros: Little distortion (provided you respect the geometry of the subject to be photographed), good sharpness even at the edges, AF pretty quick, solid construction, focal width Cons: Aberrations important (solvable, but not an excuse), flares (if you are not careful can ruin photos) Opinion: I bought this lens wide-angle to match it to my Nikon D5200. I must say I did not disappoint my expectations, I found two problems reported by other users (chromatic aberrations in particular, a defect that in theory there should be as the home states of using aspherical lenses to avoid the problem). I have not tried to take pictures of stars (because where I live I should do a hundred kilometers to have a sky without light pollution, which is why I have not opted for the brightest lenses), so I can not even express. The flares must be careful (the lens hood is included in the package, not to mention the economic technique of "hand" when possible), I have had the nasty surprise in a photo taken at dusk near a lamppost. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good angle at an economical price, with a wider zoom range, without being pretentious. sent on November 03, 2015 |
