Pros: Great focal range, sharpness, colour retention

Cons: Flare& ghosting

Opinion: I am a beginner of DSLR photography, yet found this lens to be easy to use. I was thinking about purchasing Tokina 11-16 mm f2.8, but was reluctant due to its narrow focal range. The 12-28 has an awesome focal range and performs pretty much well in low light conditions (all my photos in the forum were taken under very low light conditions without a flash). Pls avoid direct lights - prone to get flare

Pros: SHARPNESS, ROBUSTNESS, FOCAL RANGE

Cons: FLAIR

Opinion: LENS WITH VERY GOOD QUALITY RATIO. THE CHROMATIC ABERRATIONS THAT MANY COMPLAIN ABOUT, IN MY SPECIMEN ARE IMPERCEPTIBLE, ALMOST NON-EXISTENT AND ONLY WIDE OPEN. YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THE FLARE, WITH SOME PRECAUTIONS YOU CAN AVOID, SHARPNESS AND COLORS EXCELLENT, THE WEIGHT IS HIGH, BUT FOR ME IT IS NOT A PROBLEM. OVERALL AN EXCELLENT WELL BUILT LENS, NOT EVERYONE KNOWS IT BUT IT WORKS VERY WELL EVEN ON FX SENSOR FROM 18 TO 28, PERSONALLY I USE IT ON NIKON D610, NIKON D750 WITHOUT PROBLEMS EVEN IF IT WAS BORN FOR DX SENSORS... I RECOMMEND IT TO THOSE WHO TRAVEL, THOSE WHO DO STREET, AND ESPECIALLY LANDSCAPES .. RATED 9

Pros: Focus range, sharpness, field width

Cons: Weight, flair quite annoying

Opinion: goal with very good price quality ratio. The chromatic aberrations that some complain in my opinion are very contained, even in situations of high contrast and at the edges of the image. The colors are quite saturated and the sharpness good. The weight is quite high, but in the norm compared to the competition. The flairs are quite annoying even with the lampshade mounted and with the sun not directly in the frame. We have to be careful. In some cases they can also be exploited in their own favor. Overall a very good goal. Vote 9

Pros: Quality construction and quality focal otticarnRange

Cons: Some aberration and flare

Opinion: Lens done very very well, and as a building, you see it's not a toy, and as optics, crisp quality even for large optical bordi.rnIn conclusion great relationship with only weak points prezzo.Gli qualities are chromatic aberrations but quickly settle in Ps and flares but being a wide angle there is., cmq once understood it is not difficult to handle them.

Pros: Little distortion (provided you respect the geometry of the subject to be photographed), good sharpness even at the edges, AF pretty quick, solid construction, focal width

Cons: Aberrations important (solvable, but not an excuse), flares (if you are not careful can ruin photos)

Opinion: I bought this lens wide-angle to match it to my Nikon D5200. I must say I did not disappoint my expectations, I found two problems reported by other users (chromatic aberrations in particular, a defect that in theory there should be as the home states of using aspherical lenses to avoid the problem). I have not tried to take pictures of stars (because where I live I should do a hundred kilometers to have a sky without light pollution, which is why I have not opted for the brightest lenses), so I can not even express. The flares must be careful (the lens hood is included in the package, not to mention the economic technique of "hand" when possible), I have had the nasty surprise in a photo taken at dusk near a lamppost. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good angle at an economical price, with a wider zoom range, without being pretentious.
