![]() | Zeiss Jena DDR Flektogon 35mm f/2.4 MC Pros: Fabulous colors, sharp in the center already at full aperture. Light. A real Zeiss Jena Cons: For my way of taking photographs no one. Opinion: A lens that returns full-bodied colors with deep blacks. Sharp in the center at f2.4 with acceptable angles, from f4 throughout the frame. Every time I use it I am always amazed. My favorite 35mm, nothing to do with the yield of the current 35mm. The same emotion that gives me the colleague pancolar 50mm 1.8 MC. Prices have gone up, but for me it's money well spent. Weak point, like almost all Zeiss Jena, the diaphragm tends to get stuck by oil deposit on the slats. Cleans quite easily for those who are a little familiar with disassembling lenses sent on December 25, 2021 |
![]() | Meyer Gorlitz Oreston 50mm f/1.8 Pros: Bokeh, price, color rendition ' vintage ' and excellent sharpness if closed Cons: For the price paid no one Opinion: Paid €28 + S.S. and only disassembled the lenses for a slight dust cleaning. All iron and glass as from customary years 60. Bought to see the famous blurry bubbles without any other pretensions, it amazed me how sharpness if closed already at F4. A F 1.8 poor sharpness that becomes indecent going to the corners (but who buys it to take that kind of photo knows that sharpness is not a problem). The bubbles effect depends very much on the distance between the subject and the light points in the background. Used on Sony A7II, it protrudes and weighs the right giving a good feeling in the use, it returns colors quite warm but not excessively. I recommend a lens hood to improve flare resistance and contrast with non-favorable light. Around €40 a whim to get through. sent on May 26, 2019 |
