Bought to see the famous blurry bubbles without any other pretensions, it amazed me how sharpness if closed already at F4. A F 1.8 poor sharpness that becomes indecent going to the corners (but who buys it to take that kind of photo knows that sharpness is not a problem). The bubbles effect depends very much on the distance between the subject and the light points in the background. Used on Sony A7II, it protrudes and weighs the right giving a good feeling in the use, it returns colors quite warm but not excessively. I recommend a lens hood to improve flare resistance and contrast with non-favorable light. Around €40 a whim to get through.
