![]() | Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Pros: Weight, autofocus, very sharp, excellent stabilization Cons: Brightness but the R system forgives a little Opinion: Given that I use it only a couple of days, it replaced with great satisfaction the excellent ef 100/400 that used with 1.4 X III on my R7 did not excite me, while the use with the R6 was excellent. Perhaps in terms of image quality there are no big differences with its little brother EF, but tracking, stability and maf speed are definitely worth the switch. Unfortunately for back problems I had to retire the excellent EF 500 F4 II, fortunately the R system forgives a bit 'the high iso so the transition to this lens will be less traumatic sent on June 13, 2023 |
![]() | Canon RF 800mm f/11 IS STM Pros: Weight, cost, Cons: F11 Opinion: Those who preceded me, I think have already explained all the pros and cons of this objective. Personally I suggest this lens only to those who already have a fixed too heavy to carry around maybe in a stray photographic hunt Flanked by an R6 proves interesting in many situations, thanks to the excellent high iso seal of the machine; however, I would not recommend this objective as the only long view. sent on February 23, 2022 |
![]() | Benro GH1 Pros: Lightness and price Cons: Nobody Opinion: After reading the comments about Yuza and confronting a happy friend who owned this head I bought it without much doubt. I personally use it with a canon 500F4 II /multiplier 1.4 and Canon body, apart from a minimum of uncertainty at the first two/ three uses at the time of fixing, otherwise everything fully responds to expectations, certainly a good purchase I have been using it now for over a year. sent on November 15, 2020 |
![]() | Canon EF 500mm f/4 L IS II USM Pros: Sharpness, AF speed, great even with 1.4 III Cons: For now, no one, except slightly the weight. Opinion: Like those who preceded me, I bought this lens thanks to a good opportunity, and not being young nor gymnast the use will be mainly with use of tripod or adequate support. For now used only in a few sessions, and even the freehand shots have largely satisfied me. The test of fire for me will be next week in Sardinia. After the purchase I proceeded to take a tour in CPS with the two machine bodies for a perfect pairing. Coupled with the 100/400 and two multipliers I am sure to cover my non-professional needs. sent on June 22, 2019 |
