![]() | Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Sharpness, Light, Stabilizer, Focus, Speed ??Focus. Cons: No cons detected. Obviously F2.8 would have been better but it's not so light. Opinion: Just purchased and used in the Carnival of Cento 2012. Used outdoors during the day with a free hand with the stabilizer always inserted definitely present and valid. Excellent at all openings also to F4. The sharpness is surprisingly also the corners of the frame. The color rendition is excellent: I had also intervening in post-production to eliminate the haze of the atmosphere (the weather was wet). Aberrations almost non-existent. The speed of focus with the 5DMKII is great and if the limits itself to 3 meters becomes truly instantaneous. For use in road freehand is suitable given the weight really content. The price is very low but the 1300 euro are all well spent. Highly recommended. sent on March 06, 2012 |
![]() | Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM Pros: excellent construction, excellent performance, versatile, ok even on aps-c bodies Cons: weight (even if in line with the competition), if IS would be even more versatile Opinion: Used for 2 years on a APS-C body and the focal length 24 is short enough for many uses. The sharpness is amazing and not comparable to other L-series lenses though as the 17-40 f4 (obviously at the widest apertures). With a body that has low noise is the ideal lens for taking pictures with low light conditions without a flash. I have used this lens in my travels and versatility is total. Consigliatissima as unique optical always use. sent on September 30, 2011 |
