sony_a7iiiSony A7 III

Pros: Holding high ISO outstanding-burst-AF-4K Video-Focus peaking-silent but just silent shooting:-)

Cons: Enough viewfinder, slightly adjustable screen and little touch, complex menus

Opinion: I've had it for about 3 months. After so many years spent with the 6d I made this passage not painless. Many, lots of advantages but with the Canon I was so good that I'm holding both. What about it? More or less what you read on the net in the reviews balanced leaving the detractors for the party taken and the fanboys. The A7 III is an exceptional machine but it is not perfect (I don't think they exist). Excellent high ISO and AF system (especially with lenses produced for you). Many small things make it complete and improve its usability: Focus peaking (really good for shooting with the manual focus), automatic zoom that assists you when you focus, ring for the flight correction of the exposure, many buttons Customizable, battery of excellent durability and loadable on the fly with Powerbank...... A big, great advantage, is to see in real time how the parameters gradually set will affect the photo as for example in the long exposures (not in bulb). The defects are those known: the viewfinder is not bad but it is not comparable to a pentaprism, the menus are too complex and the translation into Italian for some voices is ridiculous, indeed the term more guessed is "imaginative", the screen can be oriented but the convenience of a ver o swivel screen is a whole other stuff, in some cases (sporadic) The silent shot produces horizontal lines in the photo and deforms the vertical structures. Separate chapters for Is, park objectives, AF and use of adapters I start with the stabilizer. Very personal opinion tainted probably by my experience nothing with stabilized bodies. Discreet but not more. I have always snapped with the 6d and stabilised lenses (except the wide angles but at 12mm being out of the safe times is difficult) and in my opinion with 6d and 24 70 is F4 I could push myself more than with A7 III and Tamron 28-75. Park goals: It moves quickly and is in sharp growth but some lenses are back compared to Canon and really good ones cost really much. Beware the Canon does not give them, they are expensive there too, but with the possibility of taking some good lens at more affordable price. Some tests I could do others I read them on the net and many confirm what I say. The Canon 16 35 F4 is superior (not in all but in many respects) to the Sony counterpart. Same story for the 70-200 F4 and the 85 (those accessible at human prices. AF: valid, very valuable. Shoot 3500 photos with Tamron 28-75 in the theater during dance essays and will have blew in 4-5 photos. But there is one though:-): there are many but many options and to be sure to use the one most suitable for every circumstance is not easy. It is not a defect but who is used to recompose with the central (as only option or almost) can remain displaced. Using adapters: Personal experience limited to photos (in video there is no tracking so you lose the true added value of Sony). Mc 11 and Canon 24 70 F4, 70-200 F4, 35 F2 Is, Sigma 105 Macro and 12 24 (both not art), for all experience identical to that lived for years with the Canon. The hesitation that sometimes matched there were also paired with the Canon. I hope I haven't bored you and helped someone.

sigma_12-24_v2Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 II DG HSM

Pros: 12mm - sturdy but heavy the right - good sharpness

Cons: flare often present - so much spending on the filters

Opinion: I possess a little over a year and I take him with me on every ride. A 12 mm of 6d is spectacular, the field is so large as to make a "subject" mundane into something special. The autofocus is good and fast, not to the level of my canon 24-70, but it does its job well. I use it almost always between F8 and F11 because it is my lens for the views. Sometimes it for photos of automobile use and effect even at lower openings looks sharp. Loving long exposures and not wanting to give up to 12mm sigma I purchased at a high price and filter adapter na
