nikon_z9Nikon Z9

Pros: 360° image quality ergonomics and battery life

Cons: For the moment I would say nothing, a truly complete machine.

Opinion: A few days ago I started shooting with the Z9, the feeling immediately was incredibly high, the ergonomics are optimal both in the horizontal and vertical shooting. Autofocus never misses one even in difficult lighting conditions. Clearly I still have a lot to discover in order to master the machine to the best of its potential, but for the moment I can say that it is worth every euro of spending, especially because it allows you to cover any type of photographic without any fear or limit. Also I have to say that the Z lenses really make their full potential even much better than on my beloved Z7, so what to say, I'm curious to see what shots I'll be able to take home in the near future.

nikon_z5Nikon Z5

Pros: Light, compact, stabilized FX sensor, shooting charging, 4K30p video, SD double slot

Cons: The only negative point in my story is that I preferred to have two CFExpress card slots.

Opinion: Thanks to Nikon Europe I had the chance to test the Z5 for two months. During this phase I made the shots that are currently part of the worldwide promotional launch. I start by saying that the machine surprised me in many respects, compact and with a great feeling in use, it makes an excellent image quality thanks to its sensor stabilized on 5 axles of 24.3 mpx. As an absolute value the camera boasts the possibility of being recharged even when shooting, this is very convenient to all those who do night photography, timelapse and still very prolonged shooting in time. The new battery allows you to quietly make a snap day without being afraid to run out of charge, of course this in standard temperature situations. Tropicalization does not make you afraid to use the machine even in the most critical situations, also with the fact that it is really compact especially when combined with its optical kit 24-50 mm f4.5-6.3, it becomes the ideal companion for those who make long shoes in the mountains. In conclusion, in my opinion this is the ideal camera for those who want to approach the full frame world for the first time, but also for those who, alongside an optics like the 24-70 mm f2.8S want a second reliable and robust body. With regard to the cons, as I mentioned, I am now used to shooting with XQDs and CFExpress and I would have preferred to have two slots for these formats than the SD one that I find, from my personal experience unreliable as I have lost several times data and photographs that have become corrupted. For any questions I invite you to send me an MP I will be happy to answer your questions and curiosities.

nikon_z7Nikon Z7

Pros: Stabilized sensor and BSI, robustness and dynamism.

Cons: possibly the single XQD slot but personally I do not find any big problems in its use.

Opinion: I've been using this machine for a year now. I went everywhere, often take long walks in the mountains and turned out to be the best companion of adventures. Also being able to shoot even with optics like the nikkor 105 mm f1.4 with freehand times of 1/20' is something incredible! The battery quietly allows you to take home a day of shooting, the tropicalization does its great job and even with the weather there is no concern, besides the big treat is the FTZ adaptor ring that allows you to use any Nikkor AFS optics without any kind of loss of detail or operating problems. Absolutely recommended.
