![]() | Olympus Tough TG-4 Pros: Ease of use, small size, ergonomics, raw files, jpeg good in reference to the small sensor, real macro, f2, good speed and precision AF. Fixed programs but effective underwater photos. Cons: Ability to control the settings and to a limited extent only for Program A (Aperture priority); otherwise automatic stranded managed by the machine absolutely. Sensor smaller, cheaper model comes in 21 mm. Opinion: I was looking for a compact digital camera to make the first experience of underwater photography unwilling to buy bulky spacesuits for 7 D m II or the G1 X m II. I enjoyed it very much, I have troubled a bit 'to find the right settings being short-sighted; I felt limited by settings blocked, I still took forever in raw + jpeg and therefore obliged to use the single shot. The Olympus program to manage raw I seemed complex, but I solved by converting the files with the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw and DNG and and Photoshop. In any case the jpeg results are of good quality and can also be used for prints. Probably there are some interesting ways but I have not got to use. sent on September 15, 2015 |
