panasonic_lumix_fz48Panasonic Lumix FZ48 / FZ47

Pros: Small and light, good for macro as well as zoom, good battery life and like all Panasonic's is easy to operate' the menu is very comprehensive, every time I fiddle with it I find something new, just today i found The high light warning, I left it off, but it could come in handy.

Cons: No viewfinder and a hot shoe would have been nice.of course that would have increased the price. the play back button is rather to flush with the body for my big fingers'

Opinion: I love the long reach and the way the camera snaps into focus at your half press, sometimes miss hitting the AE lock button but that is because I don't use it enough, I only use this camera for Macro and birds, though I take it with me on my photo trips as a beck up for my FZ 50 considering its reasonable price this camera is a very good buy, it churns out very good photos with very little effort.

panasonic_lumix_tz10Panasonic Lumix TZ10 / ZS7

Pros: Ease of use, wide angle, Plenty of shooting modes, Good colors,

Cons: No viewfinder, Rather heavy.

Opinion: I bought a TZ10 to compliment my FZ50, I find it awesome for shooting macro. It is rather heavy, not really a shirt pocket camera, but still easy enough to carry, I take mine with me at all times, even when I am using the FZ50. Like all Pannas, the camera is simple to operate, settings can be changed with minimum bother, battery life is excellent but that is with the GPS switched off and not using flash to much, the only complaint I have is it has no viewfinder and in bright sun the screen is impossible to see, adding an easy view in my opinion would make the camera to bulky to carry.
