canon_eos_r8Canon EOS R8

Pros: Lightness, ergonomics (for me), MAF speed, fantastic sensor, high ISO performance

Cons: Nothing if you know what you're buying. Lack of IBIS when compared to other MLs

Opinion: Bought to replace the R7 with which it has been love-hate since day one. I've had R6, 5D IV, 7D, 7D 2, 6D, in short, I've tried quite a few. As soon as you know, I knew I did well, the MAF is very fast, it recognizes people and animals even with their backs turned, the quality of the photos is exceptional with a tightness at ISO better than any camera before. Used on Saturday during an artistic gymnastics training, in combination with the 70-200 2.8 II with adapter, very little light.... never missed a shot, bursts all in focus, photos up to ISO 12800 without the slightest noise. For me, 6 fps (with mechanical curtain) is more than enough. Rated 10

sigma_60-600os_sportSigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sport

Pros: Well balanced, focal range, quality, stabilization, construction

Cons: Maybe the weight if carried for a long time

Opinion: I own the version for Canon for a few months, after a year of 150-600 sports (excellent slow but unbalanced forward), compared to the latter I found the 60-600 much more performing. The sharpness in my opinion is better (I use it on R6), the focus is very fast and the stabilizer works really well. Compared to the previous model it has a carbon composite hood and an improved bracket. The lighter hood makes it more balanced and much more usable freehand, the bracket, further away from the lens body, allows it to be transported with more comfort. Rated 9 for me

canon_50dCanon 50D

Pros: Size, strength, magnesium body, burst, current price

Cons: High ISO (but more 'acceptable up to ISO 800)

Opinion: The own for a year, sought used because the last of the series "double-digit" built in magnesium, I have had for years the 30D, this is a worthy successor. Body of right size, weight SLR semi professional and not by giocattolo.Raffica not fast compared to current but fast enough! Photo well balanced, easy to handle in pp
