![]() | Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8 G ED Pros: Excellent quality in the center, bright colors, excellent maneuverability. Cons: Bad edges on 30 mega sensors up, weight and footprint. Opinion: I don't know how to say it's a vision without flaws. The edges at almost all focal lengths are very scarce. You have to diaphragm at least 8 to have decent results, but then, as you ask for the review of Chausseur D'images (the only honest), why buy a 2.8? A 24 for landscape is almost unusable. Just print already at 30x40 to notice the difference in quality between center and edges. It's a reportage perspective, where you don't have to be too careful with the edges. It still makes it better in medium and long distances rather than at minimum. After 10 years, bought the D850, and saw how it went I replaced it with fixed. If you have to use a handyman zoom at closed diaphragms on 24/85, it behaves very well and costs 350 euros used (see Tom Hogan). From 5.6 onwards it goes slightly worse than 24/70, but only slightly. sent on May 07, 2019 |
