![]() | Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art Pros: Impressive sharpness Cons: Frustrating autofocus... Opinion: It's probably one of those goals that you either hate or love. I had a lot of lenses and this is undoubtedly the one that most of all made me shout WOW for the sharpness, it leaves you really amazed. Incomparable to the already excellent Canon EF 100 Macro L. I believe that it borders on perfection from many points of view, optically it is a monster! Too bad that the combination of the lack of stabilizer and the slowness of the autofocus makes it almost unusable freehand, despite the lightness and stabilization of the sensor (tested on R5). My specimen then often triggered a boring "focus hunting", despite the correct use of the autofocus limiter. I recommend it to those who do macros only with a tripod and look for sharpness at any cost. For the vote I do not express myself, it would deserve a ten for the photos that it is able to churn out and 5 for what makes you sweat ... sent on July 25, 2022 |

![]() | Sigma 1.4x TC-1401 Pros: Build quality, sharpness, perfect autofocus. Tropicalization. Cons: At the moment no one. Opinion: I use it with the Sigma 70-200 Sport and it's like it's not there! Both for autofocus and for image quality..! All EXIF data and room information on focal length and aperture are reported correctly and heard heard, it is compatible with the Canon 100 L macro! With this last lens, the AF works, but it gets a bit uncertain, but considering that Canon extenders can't even mount, I'm happy.. I'm really satisfied! sent on March 03, 2019 |
![]() | Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Pros: Build quality, sharpness, speed and precision AF, contrast and colours, tropicalized, excellent stabilizer. Excellent control of flare and chromatic aberrations. Cons: Weight, it's pointless that we turn around, the lens weighs too much. Personally I would have given up the stabilizer to earn 300grams. Opinion: I've been using it for over six months now. I come from 18-35 art, which was definitely a lady lens, but often sinned in precision autofocus, compared to the 24-70 art is a sniper, is very fast and is not wrong a shot. The sharpness is really very very good and the stabilizer does his job, you can shoot at times otherwise unfeasible. Excellent management of chromatic aberrations and flare, to all openings and focal lengths. Very pleasant blur. The weight instead, makes me often spend the urge to use it. sent on January 24, 2019 |
