![]() | Nikon Zf Pros: Charming look and feel, remarkable backward compatibility, SD+microSD, articulated display. Cons: Grip (but that's how it is by choice..), it is addictive Opinion: I'm a humble amateur photographer. I've always had Nikon SLRs, I've been dreaming of a retro camera for a decade. I entered the ML world obtorto collo with a Z5. When this machine came out... I couldn't resist. The transition to ZF was abysmal! The satisfaction of maneuvering the thumbwheel controls is off the charts. It shows great elasticity of use, with a minimal retro look thanks to the screen that can be "hidden" on the back with a leather-like pattern... A gem. Hooray for SD cards, which allow me to save money for good lenses! Great AF, I photograph my kids in all conditions. I can easily use lenses that theoretically have problems transmitting data from F-system to Z, but the camera rarely makes a dent with the Tamron 70-300 in my possession. I can focus well even in very, very low light. The grip for my hands is quite limiting, but once the Smallrig is mounted, there are no more problems. It has such a rich menu that it will take me ages to check it all out. What can I say... I'm good to go for the next twenty years. It's addictive! sent on May 10, 2024 |
