Pros: Small and pocket-sized, handy, Jpg Fine files already good immediately, excellent lens the 35mm, works well up to 1600 iso with very natural colors and no loss of yield.

Cons: Af not very fast, few points Af, no continuous fire so forget to chase the subject with fire.

Opinion: I had read around a few discordant reviews, but I followed my instincts. I like this grain that has a lot of analog camera , especially on the faces and or blurred . I was looking for something that would make me feel new sensations, a fully optical viewfinder, and a few stop commands. It is not the camera to work certainly, for those I use the flagships Nikon SLR much larger, but with this is pure pleasure. Let it be clear despite its devaluation, I paid it, used guaranteed Leica Store on 350, it is a Leica and you can see it from the quality of both the files and the body itself, solid that is well in the hand. The 35mm works very well, bright and great for half-length or panoramic portraits, setting the Af on facial recognition, you can shoot by looking only at the optical viewfinder. It is a camera for those who want to find something analog, basic menu, few frivolities, no touchscreen that consumes only. The colors are natural, beautiful the complexion using WB Auto. I used it to shoot during an event at 1/15 no blurry, just a pleasant move, f4 is great for taking pictures with multiple subjects. I think it will be a great shooting companion for situations where I don't want to carry weight on myself.

Pros: The camera par excellence, superlative files, robust, reliable, professional

Cons: I did not find any defect except on the af in mode C, more studio, but always impeccable in the shot

Opinion: I took a used D700 that had about 7000 shots , it was practically new. Maybe it had been purchased on a whim and then set aside, but I really needed it if I wanted to make quality photo shoots, and by quality I mean more demanding customers, corporate, corporate events, environmental portraits, but above all the press. The Dx certainly did not allow exceptional printing, the Full frame instead produces files of another quality. It sounds trivial but the D700 allowed me to hook customers that I certainly could not reach with the Dx before, although I use it very little because I also have another very competitive camera the D300. Using these two cameras together is the top, the D700 with professional lenses is superlative, and allows you to take photos by raising the Isos without too much noise. Perhaps precisely for this reason it is the most used camera for weddings and ceremonies where you have to shoot often without flash, the D700 is undoubtedly the camera of the real professional, as his sister Dx the D300 has a sturdy dress and all the controls in the right place. I had dreamed of it for a long time and when I started using it I realized that I had reached the highest level. Funny that all my photos taken with this camera can not be published anywhere, since they are for Company, Private and for internal use. If you find it in good condition with a few shots do not miss it, buy it if you are able to use it and you still have a pro consumer, the D700 is worth all the money spent to buy it.

nikon_d90Nikon D90

Pros: Great performance , solid body, file quality

Cons: Af not suitable for all sports, suffers a lot in high Iso

Opinion: I worked with a D90 from a photo agency for 4 months in 2010, throughout the summer season I practically merged it, and when I came back I bought a new one. Reason a valid upgrade the transition from the d60 to the D90 allowed you to work more and much better. The D90 is the school ship camera to grow a lot, you can't switch to a Pro model without getting your bones done with the D90. It's a well-combined set of elements that make it a flagship camera, so I recommend it to those who don't want an entry level, but a mid-range REFLEX with good performance. It is a camera that once used the wallpaper because for handling it is convenient for almost everything, I used it for events until I realized that I was squeezing it too much. Excellent file quality, remarkable color depth better than the D300, white balance among the best had, good shooting times but precisely always if you do not have to take sports photos. The D90 is the camera that combines all the improvements from the previous models, not by chance you will find many used but with many shots. A camera made to be used, trips, events, street, I had to replace it with the D300 when it was literally falling apart and I noticed its limits with the Af, which did not hook the filmed subject well. But I still use it for my photography courses, a teacher always.

nikon_d300Nikon D300

Pros: Robust and reliable, Fast and precise Af, good files right away, a machine gun in hand with burst shot.

Cons: Perhaps the only real flaw is not to dare too much with the tall Isos because the noise is evident.

Opinion: I took it because I was doing sports photography at the time, to be precise equestrian competitions, and with the d90 it was practically impossible to hook the horse that jumped the obstacle. Another world just the D300, I felt like I had a rifle, and I realized that a camera only needs a few things, one of which is the fast and precise AF, which hooks up well and an embarrassing shooting speed. Bought and immediately put to work on the pitch even in the rain, with an old 80-200 the result was really incredible, I felt almost like a sniper and the files were of a really higher quality, even with the crop factor the sharpness was not lost . After the Cavalli bracket, the D300 also looked great for various events and portraits, and with the pairing of the excellent 85mm 1.8G and 24mm 2.8D it became my work camera my par excellence, for events and portraits of all kinds. Not even the D700 has such a precise Af, in fact it is said that the Af of the D300 is the one designed for the D3. This explains why I mainly use the d300 for scene photos, being careful not to abuse with isos of course. The opinion is that this is not a camera like the others, and I bought another one just because it is really great , great to go inside the Stromboli at night is the reportage camera in extreme conditions , in Morocco under a downpoor I have never been afraid , reliable , they say it is a tank and it is true , while the older sister the D700 I use it for more "quiet" portraits , the D300 is the one to dive into particular situations where you know you need her, not to mention that she has all the commands in the right place, nothing is random, once in hand it is the camera for those who want to get serious. And on the D300 nothing is superfluous everything is designed for the professional photographer who wants to have control.

nikon_d60Nikon D60

Pros: Excellent ccd file quality, handling and un cumbersome for travel.

Cons: Slow and insensitial af with few focus points, fairly limited shooting times for faster times, few controls and rings available, non-tropicalized body.

Opinion: Well it was my first reflex ever since 2008 when the first model came out, and again I happen to review from my archive old photographs with a very good quality made with this machine body. Of course it is not a D90 with which I really learned to use a reflex, but it defends well. With the 18-55mm kit it obviously remains an entry level but if you pair it with the 18-105 mm the level of your shots rises and the D60 can rival even the most modern mirrorless. In fact, in 2016 (almost eight years after the purchase) I happened to use it for a travel reportage in Greece with which I then made a photographic exhibition, printing the photos in a 40x60 format. Absolutely fantastic the yield on photographic paper, beautiful and bright colors. Here today we have cameras with incredible power, sensors with over 40mpx and Iso over 26000, the d60 was just 10mpx yet, when I see my photos made with the D60 I still really like them and I feel like printing them above all. If it were not for the fact that I also have a d90, Two D300 to take reportage photos in extreme and stage conditions and to finish a legendary D700 with which I realize the most important services and especially portraits , I would use it a little more. My opinion is that apart from its simplicity, it is a great camera with which to start shooting in broad daylight, the simplicity of controls is certainly a plus for a beginner, on the contrary it is absolutely not made for those who love the body and weight of a reflex pro, and the shooting speed that is essential for certain situations like the sports photo here is completely missing. Excellent for travel, small and little visible, with the rendering of the files a good tool to always keep close and being the first REFLEX I would never sell it.

leica_d-lux7Leica D-LUX 7

Pros: Excellent light lens, very light body, is a Leica in all respects, the manual af is really a sword

Cons: It is not an SLR, so when the light goes down even if you raise the ISO, find yourself a light point otherwise you will have a bad surprise!

Opinion: I did a product test at the Leica store in Rome and it was immediately love. I'm used to the world of SLRs, especially working with old D300 and D700 cameras, with continuous and precise Af for the type of events I photograph. I've been looking for something light for the street that I do exclusively in my spare time. Case wanted my eye to fall on the new model of the Leica, the Delux 7, I'm certainly not a lover of bridges or mirorless to tell the truth, but this little has already conquered me. A tip is a camera for those who like a certain type of photos, and want to have the manual feel of turning ring nuts. Of course it is also equipped with WiFi and touch, but it goes without having to use it as if it were a mobile phone. I shutter often without seeing the viewfinder with the camera belly height, I use little the screen also because the battery is not eternal. On the focal lengths I recommend using the preset focal mode, so that you switch from 24.28, 35, 70, 75, 80 mm etc easily without locking them while shooting. It is definitely the camera to do Street photos, I would not recommend it for a trip because the battery does not last too hard and the body although small is not so sturdy. The lens is fantastic to do both portraits and panoramas by day, on portraits the fuzzy background is pleasant, (always if you are close to the subject). It is a walking Leica, but suitable for those who use series cameras and is accustomed to fixed lenses such as the 24mm or 85mm, it is not for a beginner, who can get lost among all the functions, even too many inside a box that still has its cost. It's definitely a nice little toy to have around your neck.
